Thanks to Zack Nelson of 185 Miles South podcast.
Truly the best Hardcore Punk Podcast in the world.
Zack took the time to get the audio from our first Instagram Live

I had alot of fun talking to everyone on the Instagram Live and we will hold another soon. Thanks to everyone who donated to Fishtails Animal Rescue and of course- everyone who asked questions, checked in and showed love.
I hope to see you all this weekend at This Is Hardcore 2024

Episode 164 - TIHC Gang Hang.
I got the gang together to talk about the fest, current state of hardcore and what comes next. I wanted to have some fun since we've had a solid run of solid episodes of more serious nature..
Bob Wilson and Greg Falchetto are truly a blessing to have as part of my team, and for being friends for over 20 years now. I am lucky to have their company and have their support and advice.

Episode 163 Frankie Poupolo of Wisdom In Chains
With This Is Hardcore just 3 weeks away, we bring the new member of Wisdom In Chains onto the show to talk about his excitement to be a part of the band. Frankie Poupolo another South Shore HC legend started coming down to our area with Death Before Dishonor. He would later start a project called Trust In Few, which Richie Krutch was a part of. Frankie is a family man and had to opt out of touring with DBD to work full time in a Union Sound/Stage Hand in the Boston area. He is absolutely one of the funniest guys you can run into as well as one of the most talented self taught musicians that I've ever met.
From the minute I hit record, I had a blast talking to my old friend about his backstory, his excitement for the new role in WiC and what to expect next.
I only wish I had more time to go deeper into the story, but he's a working man and took the podcast on his lunch break.

Episode 162 James Aloisio.of Ends Of Sanity and Unchained Mgmt.
We had James on earlier this year to talk about Overcome Fest but I wanted more time to go over his story. From Long Island and some early bands, he would rise to be one of the more influential behind the scenes booking agent and later manager to some of the most talked about Hardcore and Punk bands of the current day.
This is a great story about just finding opportunities, growing as a person and learning new skills and having the balls to give up a day job and just go for it.

Episode 161 Melissa Mastrangelo of Denied and All Shall Suffer
Melissa grew up in Queens at a perfect time for find herself at the beginning of a new age of NYHC. From Bulldoze to Denied and others, the beginning of a heavier focus brought about the foundation of what alot of modern hardcore kids and bands are focused on, the "Beatdown" sound. Her story is awesome and she is at the right place at the right time for so many great moments.
She has been a high school teacher for years but found time to start All Shall Suffer around the pandemic years and is playing This Is Hardcore this summer with Denied as part of their Reunion.
This is a fun conversation and lots of great memories come back having her on the show.

Episode 160 Carlos Ramirez of NO ECHO and much more
Carlos Ramirez has spent the last 10 years with his labor of love, No Echo as the voice of the underground. The site champions the up-and-coming bands that may not be represented or have the cool connections to get the word out.
We start back in Queens where it all began. Carlos has been involved in hardcore punk, Metal etc. for decades and still lives and breathes it every day. His story and continued efforts to support the scene he grew up in with No Echo, his relationship with PBR and his overall support of all things underground after all these years is a breath of fresh air.

Episode 159 Pete Morcey. the Mayor of Brass City
Pete Morcey is an American Hardcore Punk Legend. From his earliest days at the Anthrax Club, to founding Forced Reality, one of the early great American Oi! bands. He would go on to front Higher Force, the first "heavy" hardcore band in Connecticut, which as a scene would become known for heavy bands like Hatebreed and others including 100 Demons, which the Higher Force guys would start up later in the 90s.
Pete would eventually join 100 Demons in the mid 2000s, where they would release one of the genre defining metalcore records of that decade via Deathwish Inc.
He along with friends would found Brass City Tattoo, as well as Shogun ScreenPrinting, Brass City Boss Sounds and the TNT Music Festival, which was a decade ahead of the current trend of Oi! /Hardcore.
He has been there through all of this and still running strong. He has a few more shows with 100 Demons and plenty of new ideas for books, releases and more things to come.

Episode 158 Sam James Velde of Future Management and much more
According to my brother Mexi Mike, Sam Velde may be the Forrest Gump of the Hardcore scene. He happened to be at many great moments throughout the last 4 decades. He also takes all that he has gleaned and put it into his current focus as a manager for Scowl and partner with Ricky Singh of Future Management.
His journey is a great one and a fun story he got to retell.

Episode 150 round 2-
Forgive Us Our Trespasses..
this is the 2nd attempt at an 150th Episode.
I had a throwback to a time when I made small editing mistakes and fuck up an episode. So This one is more updated to talk about the need to be more forgiving and to also keep in mind how the scene has torn itself up arguing online about nonsensical political positions

Episode 149 - The Way It Really Is...
Thank you to those who reached out to me and my family and those who purchased a shirt. I appreciate all of you and our family was overwhelmed by the love and support given to us and the honors paid to her memory.
This is a fun one. Lets talk Industry and Industry Plants.
Don't get your feelings hurt, don't stop the hustle and if you're mad you're not where you want to be, grind, don't stop and just keep at it.
It has been hard to get out here and do an episode but this was the one that got me some excitement to talk alone into a mic for a bit. -
Episode 148. Some Thoughts on Some Shit.
