    Simon Poidevin AM BSc (UNSW) - (AKA Poido) represented Australian Rugby Union from 1980 to 1992 as a player and as a captain and became the first Australian to play 50 tests for his country. In 1991, Simon was a member of the first Australian team to win the Rugby World Cup. He was a member of the Wallabies side that defeated New Zealand 2–1 in the 1980 Bledisloe Cup series and the 2-1series win in New Zealand in 1986.
