  • NYPD Sergeant by Day, Exorcist by Night. Ralph Sarchie is the real life inspiration behind the film Deliver Us From Evil – adapted from Ralph’s book Beware the Night.

Ralph Sarchie born in New York City on June 14, 1962. At just ten months old, Ralphie contracted a severe illness that nearly took his life. He miraculously survived and he entire family thought it was divine intervention, that young Ralphie was saved, by God... because he had a larger purpose on this Earth. To save people... to deliver them... from EVIL.

Ralph turned to religion sometime in 1990 and found the book Satan's Harvest, a book about a case of demonic possession that Ed and Lorraine Warren investigated. By the end of it, his life path had changed and he decided to commit himself to performing God’s Work.... and become a demonologist.

Ralph continued to work his day job as a cop in South Bronx, but on his own time, he began to consult and befriend Father Martin. Father Martin became his mentor and it was with Father Martin that Ralphie participated in over 20 exorcisms...

From the Exorcism of the Villanova Family on a horrifying Halloween Night, to bringing something dark home with him, Ralph has had a tremendous impact on the paranormal world. Not without criticism though...

  • Our middle school selves are screaming about this episode. We were lucky enough to sit down with Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt from Girls Next Level Podcast and talk all things HAUNTED. From both of their beliefs in what the paranormal could be, to their first personal haunting, to pet hauntings, to ouija board scares, to seances at Holly's House, all the way to which cryptid we'd like to date.

We even got insight into the time Ghost Adventures investigated Holly's house.

We got answers to some of our most burning questions like: Was the Playboy Mansion Haunted? Will Bridget & Holly go on a paranormal investigation with us? And where did our underwear go when we wore low rise jeans? -- okay, we'll admit, that last one remains a mystery.

In this episode, we referenced a couple things:

  • As you go in search of the spookiest haunted houses and mazes this fall season, we caution you to be ware of one in specific. Should The No End House be in your area
you should NOT go in. This Urban legend/Creepy Pasta was originally uploaded on June 30, 2011 and is credited to Brian Russell .

Is $500 dollars worth a life of endless torture, unknowns and mind F**ks? We'd say not. But as the story goes, there's a house that appears in odd locations all over the world. When it appears or why it appears is not known and the only way to find it is stumbling upon it or being told by a friend. That's what happened to David. His college friend, Peter Terry sent him an ominous message on AIM, after being MIA for days. At first David thought Peter was back on drugs, as he'd battled with addiction for quite some time... but then, David decided to check the house out for himself.

He should have trusted his instincts and never entered the benign looking house in the middle of the woods because the NINE ROOMS he endured would forever torture him and change the course of his life there on. The No End House is believed to have nine rooms and the story goes that NO ONE has ever completed all nine rooms... if you do, you receive a reward of a measly $500. This episode details Davids experience as he took on each room and the horrors that each room contained. Would you try to find the No End House?

In addition to this haunted house of horrors, Corinne recounts her experience of the April 9th, 2024 Total Solar Eclipse.

  • Divination practices have been around since the beginning of humankind and have served as methods to guide us to our higher purposes, connect with spirit, guide us through difficult times and to strengthen our own inner resolve. If you are like us, and you too are beginning your journey into the occult as a baby witch and want to learn and enrich your own practice, this episode might help. While there are many different methods of divination, this episode focuses on Tarot and Oracle Cards/Readings. We'll admit, we didn't know the differences for a long time... but it's never too late to learn.

We'll dig into the history of Tarot, the origins, the conspiracy and the evolution to what we know it as today. At inception, tarot cards had absolutely nothing to do with the paranormal or divination... they were instead, a game. Playing cards! Each deck was hand painted and owning a deck symbolized your high status. So how then, did they become a part of divination practice? A conspiracy theory!

A frenchman named Antoine Court-de Jabolais linked Tarot cards to the Lost Book of Toth... an ancient Egyptian God linked to wisdom, writing and magic. He theorized that the messages of the Lost Book to Toth were hidden in Tarot Cards. Simultaneously and unknowingly, a man in Paris, Jean-Baptiste Alliette was developing a deck of Tarot cards to utilize for the occult with themes related to the Book of Toth. All alligned with the rise of spiritualism, Tarot cards became common place in mystical and occult practices.

While Tarot developed into a form of divination, Oracle has always served as such, but the cards themselves are much more new age than Tarot cards. The first set of Oracle cards were developed by a revered psychic in the early 19th century, Madame Lenormand. Oracle cards are deeply personal, an expression of self, of creativity and of spirit. They vary in imagery, number of cards, shape of cards and meanings.

A Traditional set of Tarot Cards consists of 78 cards divided into two groups - the major arcana and the minor arcana. Oracle Cards on the otherhand, have no set number or meaning.

    Story begins at 00:07:20

We mentioned a couple of specific decks in this episode, they are listed and linked below:
    Claire Goodchild's Decks
    Cat Tarot
    Southern Gothic Oracle
    Literary Authors Oracle Deck

  • Encounters are always filled with surprises, but this week brings a surprise you might not see coming... Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum. You'll find yourself laughing one second, and cringing in terror the next. Imagine a floating Cheshire-like, teethy, horrifying smile haunting you and your roommates. Imagine falling into an ominous pit used for dark sacrifices in the deepest of the woods. Imagine a ghost watching TV with you and being visited by aliens. Not everyone has to imagine, because some of you have experienced these encounters yourselves. This episode is a reminder not to use a ouija board and will tug at your heartstrings and make you want to stop at that random restaurant on the side of the road when your sister randomly suggests it.

  • Beware of scams
and beware of haunted objects, ESPECIALLY the objects discussed in this episode. Greg and Dana Newkirk are the world's only full-time paranormal investigators. They have spent their lives collecting and caring for cursed artifacts, possessed dolls, and other mysterious artifacts believed to exhibit supernatural activity. They also joined Two Girls One Ghost on their first ever paranormal investigation at The Conjuring House and have become our paranormal idols. We chose a couple items from their haunted collection to share with you in this episode... but something DID NOT want to be talked about and so, we must warn you: THIS EPISODE MIGHT HAUNT YOU because it haunted us.

The following are the haunted items from Greg & Dana's collection that we speak about... or attempt to: The Well of Intentions, The Little Liar Painting, Smiley the Clown, The Corrupted Testament, The Black Hen Planchette and the Conjuring Crystal.

Check out the Newkirk's LIVE ON TOUR from September 11th through November 1st: In this incredible live show, join the Newkirks on a journey through the history, folklore, and true-life accounts of supernatural encounters with objects that seem to possess a life of their own. You’ll learn the untold truth about famous paranormal cases like The Amityville Horror, discover why the infamous Dybbuk Box is scarier than the demon it's rumored to imprison, and tag along as Greg & Dana reveal how they broke the curse of the Catskills Crone, as featured in their haunting new documentary film The Unbinding!

But this show isn’t just about sharing terrifying true stories. You’ll also come face-to-face with iconic haunted artifacts from the archives of the Newkirk Museum of the Paranormal, using what you’ve learned about ghosts to help Greg and Dana manifest two new, eerily familiar spirits.. with nothing but the power of your mind.

  • Wouldn't you love to wake up every morning in a room full of dolls? Creepy, porcelain ones with cracked skin, rosy cheeks and unblinking eyes? Wouldn't you love if those dolls started blinking and watching you sleep? This is an episode that will keep you up at night and instill terror in your nightmares. What happens when toys and dolls come alive? And not in the cute Toy Story way, but in the "I want to kill you and watch you sleep and eat your toes" kind of way... Haunted toys and dolls are arguably one of the most horrifying paranormal encounters. Is it a little ghost child playing with the firetruck? Or is it an evil entity possessing a Teletubbie that has no batteries? Would you want to take your chances to find out?

This encounters is filled with paranormal tales from listeners who have experienced haunted dolls and toys and lived to tell the tale...

  • We've all heard of the Salem Witch Trials, the deadliest witchhunt in colonial North America... but few have heard of the Witch Trials of Winnsboro, South Carolina.
It was 1792, exactly 100 years after the Salem Witch Trials, and something mysterious and malicious was brewing down South. Cows were dying, people were levitating and others were being transformed into animals without their consent.

The townspeople of Winnsboro, South Carolina, was certain that their small farming community was being destroyed by a WITCH.

77 year-old Mary Ingleman was the first to be accused... by her very own son. What then followed was numerous other accusations and a horrific trial held illegally by the townspeople at the farm of Thomas Hill.

What ensued was a horrific example of falsely accused witches and wrongful convictions and treatment of innocent souls. But it did leave us wondering... is the devil hot? Like, he for sure has chiseled abs and somehow always appears to be doused in baby oil, right?

  • Content warning: abuse and suicidal ideation.

Hauntings are unpredictable. Hauntings are like sticking your hand into a mysterious box that you've found on the side of the road while blindfolded and wearing noise cancelling headphones. Hauntings are like a box of chocolate that has been sitting in the sun and exposed to earthly creatures and elements. Some hauntings are delightful and pleasant. Some, scary and unpleasant. This episode is simultaneously terrifying, hopeful, nightmare inducing and sweet.

From a Haunted Alpaca Farm, to a Goblin in the backseat of a car, to rambunctious Ghost children who lived in a funeral home, to horse farms and so much more.

Why stop there? While we adore reading listener stories, we also love throwing ourselves into the wild and experiencing hauntings first hand... so in this episode, we share with you a portion from Sabrina's Youtube Livestream, a conversation with the spirits of Marblehead's Old Burial Hill Cemetery... and the ghosts were ACTIVE. Enjoy, and don't miss out on the next Youtube live!

  • After an ominous cliffhanger in part one, we left you wondering, who or... what is Philip and how far would he go to free himself of the small room he was conjured within. In part two, we will dive into Philip's escalation and growth, how the experiment conjured more questions than answers, how he left a lasting impact on the group of eight members who brought him into the world, and other iterations of the Philip experiment that have been conducted.

Philip the Ghost was conjured in the fall of 1972 by a group of eight members of the Toronto Society of Psychical Research group in Toronto, Canada. Together, they created a fictional spirit, Philip, and sought to use mental power to conjure his physical spectral being.

The Philip Experiment inspired many other spiritual creations. The Toronto Society of Psychical Research attempted to create Lilith, a French Canadian Spy. Then came Sebastian, a medieval alchemist, and Axel, a man from the future. Experiments similar to Philip have taken place all over the world and there's rumor that The Skippy Experiment, conducted by an Australian team, has procured video evidence that they plan to share with the world.

While this topic is intriguing, curious and a little bit unsettling, it leaves us with more questions than answers... what is the paranormal? Are we creating spirits with thought? Can a group spend enough time with one another that they create a group consciousness? How can they extend outward? Are we on our way to creating planet Lanulous? Is any of this real... ?

  • In honor of our seven year anniversary and in honor of creating our very own ghost and haunting attached to our podcast, we are discussing the scientific experiment, Philip the Ghost. Philip the Ghost was conjured in the fall of 1972 by a group of eight members of the Toronto Society of Psychical Research group in Toronto, Canada. Together, they created a fictional spirit, Philip, and sought to use mental power to conjure his physical spectral being. In part one, we discuss the eight members of the experiment, the first year, Philip and his beginnings.

Philip was entirely fictional, but grounded in reality. His story went like this: Philip Isleford was born in 1624, he was an aristocratic Englishman living at the time of Oliver Cromwell. He was married to a beautiful but cold and frigid wife, Dorothea. But the marriage was fraught and loveless
which is why when Philip met the effervescent, Margo, he fell deeply in love with her and brought her home with him
but his decisions led to tragedy and a broken heart. Dorothea accused Margo of witchcraft and Philip watched as his one true love was burnt at the stake
Deeply riddled with guilt, Philip took his own life and was found at the foot of his castle grounds.

Was the group able to utilize this tale to conjure a spirit out of thin air? How powerful is the human mind and group thought? And what happens if you create a spirit that forms a mind of its own, can it be contained? Find out in this two part episode all about Philip the Ghost.

  • We don’t know much about what happens to the soul after it departs the fleshy vessel that held it upon this Earth, but we know that each and every person leaves behind some magic. They leave behind stories, memories, and loved ones. In honor of ones passing, loved ones will write obituaries that detail the life of the one now gone.

In this episode, we’ve selected some very witchy obituaries to read. Rest in Peace to some very magical souls, we’re grateful to have been touched by your energy and your life, even if it was in death.

Holly McCray Blair (1948- 2020) exploded into Glitter and bats on August 17, 2020. Eva Mondon (1941 - 2023) loved to hand out her card which read, “storytelling - matchmaking, advice sought and unsought, advisor to the lifelorn, word of mouth.” Sybil Leek (1917- 1982) was an “ordinary witch from the New Forest in England,” but she was anything but ordinary and is best known for her book, Diary of a Witch. Raymond Brownley (1931 - 2014), his larger than life persona and trademark stubbornness will not be forgotten, nor will his “life-long mĂ©nage a trois with his homemade chili and Gas-X.” Mother Fisher died at nearly 90 years old in 1888 and was known far and wide for her powers. Colin Fry (1962 - 2015) had his first paranormal encounter at a very young age and grew up to become an English television medium and psychic with a powerful spirit guide named Magnus.

    Book Mentioned:
New York Times Book of the Dead
Diary of a Witch - by Sybil Leek

  • Happy birthday to Corinne. This episode is dedicated to one of her dream jobs - being a living garden gnome - and the awkward parts of growing up. Magical gray nipple hairs and the moment your contractors politely place your perinatal massager, that very much looks like a dildo, on top of your clean laundry.

Today, we are discussing some documented Garden Gnomes from history. Mr. Remington, Father Francis and the Craigslist post requesting a personal gnome.

The job of being a living garden gnome is believed to have started in the early 15th century. Francis of Paola wrote about this hermit living in a cave on his fathers estate. And throughout France, there was evidence of dukes and lords having resident hermits. These people, the hermits, would live on wealthy properties and provide entertainment to their landlords.

But there was always a catch. It might, in theory, be Corinne’s dream job, but it wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies. For example, Charles Hamilton, an 18th century British aristocrat and member of Parliament, wanted an ornamental hermit. He wanted to hire someone for a seven year term contract to live in the sprawling gardens at his Painshill estate, but the hermit was never allowed to speak. He couldn’t even talk to the servants who bring him his daily meals. He was required to wear a goat’s hair robe, could not cut his hair, nails or beard — EVER. Is the Garden Gnome a Narnia-like-dream-job where you pontificate on worldly philosophies, or a grueling, cruel life of indentured servitude?
