This offering is Jim's next to last episode and explores an oddity that he only recently uncovered..The Flintstones cartoon series does not play out against a prehistoric backdrop as one would assume at first glance...their world is, in reality, a post-apocalyptic one!

No, it's true! Just give this one a listen and keep your mind open.

  • Not sure what happened, John said he wanted to do an episode on witches for his October offering, but it never materialized.
But not to worry, Jim slapped together this little sketch so there isn't a gap during our Halloween celebration...the topic does often cross his mind...usually when he's been drinking!

  • It's October once again, and that means Halloween is fast approaching! The boys' first offering of the month is one appropriate to the season: the Ammons Possessions. While not as famous as the "Exorcist" case, this is the tale of yet another demonic possession within the United States -- taking place within the 21st Century. This episode does cause one to raise the question: why does Jim always pick stories in which people or places have hard to pronounce names?

Oh, and Jim comes to realize that his own father just might have been a practitioner of Appalachian Granny Magic.

Late in the episode, I do believe that those in the recording session could actually smell Jim's pea-brain frying as he attempted to perform aeronautical speed and distance calculations.
