  • ๐Ÿ‡ Where Wine Takes You - Episode Highlights ๐Ÿท

Welcome back, to another lively episode of Where Wine Takes You, the podcast where we uncork the magic of Paso's vineyards and explore the stories behind the wines that define our region. Today, we're coming to you from a very special place: Bella Luna Winery. It's not just any winery; it's a testament to friendship, history, and the passing of the torch.

Best friends Sherman Smoot and Kevin Healey started Bella Luna with the vision of creating something lasting, and now that legacy lives on through Nichole Healey-Finn and Lukas Finn.

We also introduced our neighbors from across the street—Clesi Winery, founded by Chris and Adrienne Ferrara—who are bringing traditional Italian varietals to the Central Coast with their own unique twist. Chris traveled extensively through Italy, studying the culture, terroir, and winemaking techniques that make Italian wines so distinctive. Adrienne Ferrara contributes her passion for viticulture and ensures every bottle captures the essence of Italy. Together, they bring those influences back to Paso.

Later in the show, our Travel Paso Spotlight featured Rich Verruni, the General Manager of Allegretto Vineyard Resort, where luxury and Paso's wine culture beautifully collide. To plan your stay or learn more, visit Allegretto Vineyard Resort.

  • ๐Ÿ‡ Where Wine Takes You - Episode Highlights ๐Ÿท

Part 2 of our 100th episode of "Where Wine Takes You," a milestone celebration that takes us deep into the heart of Paso Robles wine country. In this special edition, host Adam Montiel is joined by two of the region's legendary figures, Tobin James and Gary Eberle. Recorded in the captivating caves of Eberle Winery, this episode is not just a look back at the fascinating stories and significant moments that have shaped Paso Robles into a premier wine destination but also a tasting of a very rare vintage—a wine made collaboratively by Toby and Gary in the early days of their careers.

It’s a fitting way to celebrate the 100th episode, bringing together voices that have not only witnessed but also steered the evolution of Paso Robles wine.

In our "Travel Paso Spotlight," we chat with KImberly Walker, of Nomada. They are behind some of the central coast’s sexiest and most comfortable accommodations from Los Alamos (Skyview), to Paso (The Farmhouse Inn). They are about to debut their newest property years in the making May 15. Introducing, River Lodge Paso. This mid-century-modern old school motor lodge has all the throwback and retro charm of old roadside Americana. Laden with chic and comfy amenities, including a 21+ over pool with a cocktail bar attached is sure to be the talk of Paso this summer, and beyond!

  • ๐Ÿ‡ Where Wine Takes You - Episode Highlights ๐Ÿท

Today we are talking about fresh pours in newer tasting room finds in Paso Wine County. We  meet two great winemakers repping their own brands today that are unique, but share some really interesting paths and experiences, and are both really worth checking out.

We tape the show at Cairjn Wine Cellars. They are on Paso’s east side and have an industrial chic, and comfortable vibe with amazing wines produced by Andy Neja. He and his wife run the brand and offer tastings by appointment.

Joining Andy and I is Brian Farrell Jr., winemaker of Caelesta. Their tasting room is located on their estate where they farm vineyards for their brand, and grow for others as well. They also have a unique truffle experience they offer that I’m not sure you can do anywhere else. You can go on truffle hunts on their estate and find your very own truffles.
