Dr. Lannerholm is a professor and counselor who happens to be in the dating area herself. She shares her observations and talks about the three main challenges with communication in relationships. She cannot understate the importance of it. We all have beliefs and ideas in our head that no one can know unless we give voice to them. We tend to expect the person we're dating to just know what we think about things and the triggers we may have in relationships. Your dating partner is not living in your head. You must communicate what you're thinking so you can develop a deeper understanding.
