Frank, Helene, Danny and Nadja didn’t have many reference points to wisdom growing up. We all went on our own journey (and also got lost along the way) to arrive where we are now. • If we want to change the world, we have to start with ourselves. But not everyone is in a situation to do that. If you are struggling to make ends meet, what luxury do you have to choose a different job or make different spending choices? Especially when you see others not making these choices, who do have the means to.

And change is uncomfortable, it brings up certain fears that are engrained in our being, it changes our mindset. Which changes the way we make decisions.

In what direction can we find a solution to the sustainability crisis? Does the answer lie in communities, leadership, compassion, or maybe a radical change in the way we live our life?

  • Our daily consumption of information has become massive, thanks to modern technology and social media. But is the (over)consumption benefiting us? Or have we become used to taking in information without thinking? What happens to us on a more profound level when we fill our thoughts with information without safeguarding the quality of it?

In this podcast we talk about the influence of taking in information on our wellbeing and our consciousness. The quality of our consumption, in the broadest sense, will impact your mindset. Fast food for the mind, makes room for other behaviors. We make different choices, we might even get caught up in addictions or obsessions. It can distract us from our purpose.

So is it possible to go without reading the news or following the media and still feel that connectedness to those around us? And when we stop consuming, can we start seeing peace and beauty again?

How do you take care of your wellbeing? We would love to hear from you through Instagram or [email protected]

  • How to find common ground despite being on the opposite ends of the negotiation table? It requires an investigation and understanding of the story you tell yourself and the stories of the other person.

In the sustainability realm, one of the challenges is the cooperation of different parties and aligning their points of view and interests. In order to create a win-win situation for society and the planet. However our fear of change keeps us from looking inside and oftentimes points the finger towards others. It requires emotional intelligence, kindness and a certain wisdom to create this safe space. In which non-violent communication can lead to compassion, inclusivity and a constructive dialogue. Were everyone is invited to take a step back and look inside.

In this podcast, we introduce ourselves and take you along these topics with the case of the farming community in the Netherlands as an example. Nitrogen policies are forcing farmers to stop their activities or change their way of working. Farmers are going head-to-head with politicians, where oftentimes they do not listen to each other and their respective pains.
