Matt Huey earned his master’s of physical therapy at California State University, Northridge in 2010 and has worked in outpatient orthopedics throughout his career. He obtained his certification in MDT in 2013, became a certified manual trigger point therapist in 2015, a Diplomat in MDT in 2018, and a Fellow of the AAOMPT in 2020. He has run clinics throughout several states where he was able to develop PTs and PTA’s along with mentoring students. He has volunteered with the APTA at the state level in Mississippi and Texas and also helped the state of Mississippi pass House Bill 309 which is the licensure compact. He is now serving as a delegate with the state of Texas. He is also active on Instagram and TikTok, as well as his website.

Dr. Jeremy Paster is the owner of Game Changer PT in Freehold, NJ. He opened Game Changer PT in September 2019 to create a business in healthcare that puts an emphasis on healthcare first and business second. Cameron Faller is a physical therapist and the Director of Operations of Innovative Movement Development Ventures, LLC (IMDV). Through IMDV, Cameron is able to serve people struggling with pain and movement problems within three different industries. There is the clinical entity (Dynamic Movement and Recovery, PLLC.) that operates as a private practice rehabilitation facility, an educational and research entity (Dynamic Principles, LLC.) that teaches a transdisciplinary process-based approach to pain, and a rehab technology entity (Dynamic Movement Frameworks, LLC) that manufactures and sells products that assist with improving human movement and performance. He also is heavily involved with being an advocate for the physical therapy profession serving multiple roles within the APTA Michigan Chapter as well as the Michigan Pain SIG. With any spare time, Cameron enjoys reading several different books and spending time with his wife and two children trying to get outside as much as possible.

Thomas Kearn, DC, ICCSP is a board-certified sports chiropractor who graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and an emphasis in Aquatic Therapy. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College. As a former athlete himself who has had to overcome several sports-related injuries Dr. Kearn understands the importance of providing drug-free alternatives to injury recovery, allowing his patients to return to the activities they love.
Dr. Kearn holds several leadership positions and is an active member of several state and national organizations. Originally from NJ, Dr. Ben Weinstein went to the University of Delaware for Undergrad and graduated in 2014. He then moved to NY for PT school at New York Medical College and graduated in 2017. Ben took a job with an OPPT clinic he had done a clinical rotation with, but eventually moved to Nashville TN in 2018. He worked inpatient as Vanderbilt’s Spine PT but transitioned back to OPPT as a staff PT and then a Clinic Director for 1.5 years after the pandemic. During this time, Ben felt the pressure of increasing productivity demands and decreased emphasis on patient care. He decided to open up Enhance PT and Performance in March of 2022. Enhance PT and Performance is located in a personal training gym and he treats mostly weekend warriors and fitness enthusiasts.

Jaime is a movement expert and a licensed Performance Physical Therapist/Certified Athletic Trainer in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. He specializes in athletic pain, injury prevention, orthopedic/musculoskeletal injuries, as well as sports performance integration and return to sport. Dr. Zach Baker, DPT, SCS serves as Chief Clinical Officer at Rehab 2 Perform (R2P) and is also the Program Director of the Sports Residency at R2P. As Chief Clinical Officer, he is responsible for overseeing and implementing initiatives for the company’s approach to clinical care, onboarding of new clinicians, and continued mentorship and educational offerings for all staff members. Within the Sports Residency, he plays an active role as an administrator, teacher/lecturer, and mentor. In addition to these roles, he still actively treats patients 20 hours a week.
Zach has been with R2P since its beginning in December 2014, when Dr. Josh Funk, owner of Rehab 2 Perform, brought him in as the company’s first hire. In the last 8 years, Zach has had the unique opportunity to assist and facilitate the growth of the company from 2 to 50+ employees and from 1 to currently 8 locations (as of August 2022), playing a hand in expanding clinical operations and getting a behind the scenes look at the business side of PT and how it all integrates synergistically.
Outside of PT, Zach is kept busy with his family they can all be found playing sports, at the beach, or camping. He has a wife he has been with since high school, three beautiful and wild kids and two dogs!

In this episode, we talk with Rich about social media and success as a PT. Rich Severin PT, DPT, is a board-certified cardiovascular and pulmonary clinical specialist. Currently, he is finishing a PhD in rehabilitation science at the University of Illinois at Chicago, with a focus on cardiorespiratory physiology and obesity. His dissertation project is investigating the role of respiratory muscle performance in obese patients undergoing weight-loss surgery. Dr. Severin serves as clinical faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is the coordinator of the bariatric surgery rehabilitation program at UIHealth. He is also a part-time clinical assistant professor in the Hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Baylor University.

In this episode, we talk about performing arts PT with Jake! Jake is an athletic trainer, physical therapist, and performance coach at PRO Motion in Winchester, VA. He received his Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a focus in sports medicine at the University of Virginia before entering the dual Master in Athletic Training/Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Shenandoah University. While in graduate school Jacob completed numerous clinical rotations including work with collegiate and professional athletes at EXOS Gulf Breeze as well as spent the 2017 season working as an athletic training student intern with the Washington Redskins. Additionally, Jacob is a graduate of Shenandoah University’s Performing Arts Medicine program where he studied to specialize in rehabilitation for dancers and musicians. He is an advocate for strength training in the performing arts and has spoken internationally on the subject. In his free time, Jacob manages a fairly successful rehab meme Instagram page, and a couple of podcasts. He is also a national-level competitor in the sport of Strongman and has a cat named Meatball.

Andy received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University at Buffalo and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. He is passionate about all things related to strength and conditioning, and rehabilitation. His goal is to create an eclectic approach by blending the principles from those two fields in order to bridge the gap in healthcare. He is a certified powerlifting coach through the United States Association of Powerlifting (USAPL) and spends his time outside of the clinic helping strength athletes navigate their training. Dr. Rena Eleázar is a licensed physical therapist, board-certified clinical specialist in sports physical therapy, certified strength and conditioning coach, weightlifting coach, and co-founder of Match Fit Performance.
Through her work as a physical therapist and strength and conditioning coach, she has helped hundreds of athletes overcome painful injuries, return to their sport, and take them to their highest level of performance. She has worked with all levels of athletes, including being a team physical therapist for Gotham Knights Rugby Football Club, New York Empire Ultimate, New York Gridlock Ultimate, and consulting with the Brooklyn Nets and Long Island Nets.
Dr. Rena has been featured on the Keep Moving Forward, The Knowledge Exchange, and The Lion’s Mane podcasts, and her advice has been featured on Brit + Co. and SELF. She has been a featured speaker at Columbia University, New York University, and both the California and New York Physical Therapy Associations. Her expert topics are: discussing healthy strength training for female athletes, dispelling myths that are prevalent in the fitness industry, and advocating for women to join the world of sports physical therapy.

Dr. Rena was a collegiate swimmer and is currently a competitive weightlifting athlete. She is a daughter of Filipino immigrants and lives in New York City. Dr. Jen Morgan is the owner of Centrality Physical Therapy and Wellness. She graduated from A.T. Still University with a doctoral degree in physical therapy and an intense passion for helping individuals optimize their pelvic health & live their best lives! From incontinence of any kind, pelvic pain, or pregnancy & postpartum clients, she loves treating it. She has experience treating patients using a blend of orthopedic, pelvic, visceral, and neural manipulation techniques. With this knowledge, Jen spends time out of the clinic as a TA for the Herman and Wallace Institute & is a TA candidate for the Barral Institute.
Jen has a history of establishing & growing successful pelvic health programs for both hospital outpatient and outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinics, but has switched to a cash-based PT model; with her most recent adventure of re-locating her cash-based practice to her new home state, Connecticut.
Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Jen taught yoga for almost a decade and focused her time on teaching yoga teachers the intricate relationships of human anatomy & the nervous system.
