Welp, that was brutal. The Detroit Lions went to Baltimore and got absolutely pummeled by the Ravens. It was not the road trip that fans expected. Dan Campbell's Lions returned to Detroit with their tails between their legs. But the night is darkest before the dawn. This team will persevere and move forward being stronger for this loss. It starts on Monday Night Football against the Las Vegas Raiders. It is quite the favorable matchup for Detroit and also a chance at redemption for coming up short in Week 7.

It's another road win! The Detroit Lions went to Tampa and licked the Bucs lollipops the day of their throwback creamsicle uniforms. The wins continue to stack up. And after a few losses by the Eagles and 49ers the Detroit Lions now sit atop the NFL standings; tied for 1st overall. One of our toughest tests of the season comes next week as we travel to Baltimore to battle the Ravens. Hopefully Justin Tucker doesn't kick another 66 yard, record-breaking field goal for the win and the Lions can return to Detroit with another feather in their cap.

It was another dominant performance in front of the Ford Field faithful. The Detroit Lions stuck it to the Panthers in a no-doubter. That seals a 4-1 start to the season which also so happens to be the best start in my lifetime. We look to next week as the Lions are back on the road taking on a more challenging opponent, the 3-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tom Brady may be gone, but this team still has some fight in them.
-
And just like that your Detroit Lions are in the front runners to win the NFC North. It was an absolute onslaught in Green Bay. Dan Campbell and the Lions came out swinging and have cemented their position as the top dog in the division. Quite the dominant performance to solidify the fact that this team is a contender.Next Sunday we are back home taking on the Carolina Panthers. Last year they completely embarrassed the Lions and ultimately kept the 2nd year Dan Campbell team from reaching the playoffs. Will the men of Detroit make this a grudge match? Or will they discount a seemingly inferior opponent and pay the price? Time will tell, but I'm siding with the team of destiny.
-
Just when SOME thought this team was out for the count, they bounce back in a tremendous fashion. The Detroit Lions put on a defensive clinic in front of the Ford Field faithful and showed they have what it takes to be a solid defense. The Falcons are far from an easy opponent. But Detroit continues to stuff the run. Nice to finally see some pass rush from these guys too!As much as we'd like to relish in this victory, the Lions are moving on to their next opponent. The Green Bay Packers. We are just a few days away from our 2nd primetime game this season and we travel to Green Bay for Thursday Night Football. This is a huge game not only due to our rivalry, but the implications it has on the standings of the NFC North. Let's see if Dan Campbell can improve his career record to 4-1 against the Packers.

This loss was a bitter pill to swallow. After riding high from our Week 1 victory the Detroit Lions have shown their mortality. The Seahawks did their best to replicate their win last season and there were some striking similarities. Mainly due to our defense coughing up an ungodly amount of points while letting Geno Smith do whatever he wanted. This Lions team is built different. There will be wins, and there will be losses. But this roster is designed to grit their way through this season's obstacles. We have a get-right game next Sunday at home against the Atlanta Falcons.
-
The Detroit Lions are 1 and 0 and have officially entered unchartered territory. Thursday night we witnessed something a large chunk of this fanbase has never experienced. Hope.It takes a good team to walk into Arrowhead and knock off the Kansas City Chiefs the night they unveil their banner. But Dan Campbell and the Lions did just that. They are firmly entrenched as one of the top teams in the NFC.It's a long road to the playoffs, and fan's expectations need to shift. Winning should become an expectation. That's our gameplan on Sunday as Ford Field hosts the Lions home opener against the Seattle Seahawks.

Wow do we have an action-pack episode in store for you this time folks. We are a mere few days away from the 2023 NFL Draft and the excitement could not be any higher. We welcome on Kyler (aka Bo77) who does a fantastic job scouting the incoming rookie class. He could not have come on at a better time as we feature our final mock draft for the year. We also provide a few of our sleepers and answer some listener questions surrounding the NFL Draft.
-
Welcome to the official start of the 2023 NFL season! The past week Brad Holmes and co. have been wheelin' and dealin' making improvements to the Detroit Lions. As Borat would say, great success. Not only have we added 3 potential starters at corner, but we have resigned some key cogs from 2022.As good as this past week has been, we have unfortunately parted way with our sweet Jamaal. There's a bit of a controversary that was stirred after the Lions signed former Bears running back David Montgomery. But Brad continues to make upgrades. In honor of March Madness, we decided do another draft. This time we will be selecting a starting 5 plus a coach for an all-dog basketball team.
-
We are back in action this week with a lot on our plate to discuss. It was time to pop our mock draft cherry and take a look at some of the best rookies in the class. John, Belly and the Fish all do their own mock focusing on what they think is the best move for the Detroit Lions.
With the draft comes free agency. And we are merely a week away from a lot of moving pieces. It is a great chance for the Lions to build their depth... and maybe get some starters?
You know what they say, a goby always pays his dues. Corbin hosts as John and Ben duke it out in some good ole fashioned Jeopardy!
-
The 2022 season has officially concluded. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are once again champions. They better enjoy their reign while it lasts. I know a guy named Dan Campbell who is looking to usurp their throne.
There was some Lions coaching news this week, we had the Pro Bowl and the Senior Bowl, and Tom Brady has finally retired (?)
The casinos don't close when football ends, so we pivoted on Betting with the Belly. Get a load of John's smooth and sultry voice as he asks us questions during Mail Time.
-
Another week with some subpar headlines for the Lions. Bowshot is back to discuss potential new uniforms, Dan Campbell snubs, our Pro Bowlers and much more.
We take a look under the hood post NFC/AFC Championship games as the 49ers and Bengals seasons disappeared before their eyes.
It's an Eagles and Chiefs Super Bowl matchup and it should be a good one folks (but we're taking the under).
This week we also did a Cartoon Milf Draft... and it was interesting to say the least.
-
After the crazy Ben Johnson news all appears quiet on the Lions front. Not a lot of action this week. But we did get to enjoy a couple good games in the NFL Divisional round this week. And just like that we have our Final Four.
John and Corbin go head-to-head in this week's new Jeopardy segment. Who will emerge victorious?
-
Week 1 of the Detroit Lions 2023 offseason. And the shuffle has begun. We started the episode discussing the possibility of Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn leaving Detroit for a head coaching gig. About halfway through our Wildcard preview the Ben Johnson news broke so you get to observe our genuine surge of happiness first-hand.
Damn it feels good to be a Lions fan. Players want to come back, free agents want to be here. coaches are turning down a promotion because they know Detroit is building something special. What a time to be alive.
At the end we touch on the Belly & The Fish weight loss competition, we become tennis guys and talk Australian Open, and Mail Time makes a return.
-
That's it folks. The grand finale. Our Detroit Lions put a pretty little bow on the season beating the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau. What a time to be alive.
Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes really have turned things around and have given this fanbase a hope that they have dreamed of for years. It's going to be a tough 9 month hibernation until we can see what the 2023 Lions have to offer but at this point the future is bright.
Our local Packers correspondent Brett makes a guest appearance to give his thoughts on the Packers performance, Aaron Rodgers and the future of the Green Bay Packers.
We will still be putting out offseason content so stick with us through these upcoming months.
-
Now that is how you bounce back after a loss. The Chicago Bears season is over and they are simply looking to building around Fields in the future. It's tough to say if it was a Lions turnaround or simply an opponent that has given up.
The true test comes in Week 18 as the Detroit Lions travel to Lambeau Field to take on the NFC North rival. It has the potential to be a win-and-in game for both teams on Sunday Night Football. This is must see TV folks!
Big Mart joins us again as we do a Nickelodeon Draft.
-
All good things must come to an end. It was fun while it lasted. Detroit suffered their first bad loss in almost two months. It was not the best showing from the Lions defense by any means. But Dan Campbell and Aaron Glenn will sort things out and have the boys ready to finish strong in these final two week.
Detroit will meet again with the Chicago Bears but this time on the home turf. Will they Defend the Den? Will they sweep the Bears? Will they keep this fan's playoff hopes alive? Time will tell.
John joins us once more, this time as a new dad! He brings back Mail Time. It looks like we might have founded a book club and enlisted in a weight loss challenge. Ben weighs 240lbs and is having a pretty hard time tying his shoes.
