Today's Time Stamps:
1. 0:13 {A Childâs Stage of Accountability} My three-year-old passed away in a tragic accident. Iâve heard that infants are welcomed into Godâs presence when they die, but what about a slightly older child? Is my daughter in Heaven?
2. 21:06 {Author Unknown = Still Inspired?} Can we be confident that a book of the Bible is truly inspired and belongs in the canon if the author is unknown (like Hebrews)? If we donât know who wrote it, how can we trust what it contains? How can we know it wasnât just the written version of a sermon? A pastor may be educated, but they arenât inerrant.
3. 27:40 {The Kingdom â âSuffered Violenceâ?} Can you help me to contextually understand Matthew 11:12? Teachings Iâve heard have made no sense, and I have tried to understand it myself, but Iâm not sure if Iâm understanding what Jesus was saying here.
4. 35:09 {50/50 Churches?} My LDS husband wants me and our kids to go to his ward & my church, split 50/50 every other week. Should I submit to him and do this, or should I get out completely from doing this? See 2 Kings 5:17-19 and Psalm 1:1.
5. 42:01 {Grain Offering = More Holy?} In Leviticus 2:9-10, the part of the grain offering for the priests is "a most holy part." Why is the part that the priests eat more holy than the memorial portion that is burned on the altar?
6. 44:24 {Avoiding Anger while Guiding Others} I see a lot of New Age-ish things (energy, manifesting, vibes) creeping into Christ followersâ lives around me. Iâve gotten blow-back trying to correct people in love. Do you have any advice about how to continue the conversation without angering them?
7. 47:48 {Malachi 4, Elijah & The End Times} Does the last verse of Malachi 4 suggest that Elijah will be one of the two witnesses in Revelation?
8. 51:37 {Dying to Sexual Addictions} Iâm only 18, but Iâve been addicted to pornography for 5 years now, which slowly turned homosexual over time. Can you please explain the past tense of âdiedâ in Romans 6:2? Am I dead to sin, or do I die?
9. 1:01:49 {How to Biblically Confront an Elder} How should a church member confront an elder biblically? Is Matthew 18 still applicable, or is there another text that applies since they are an elder?
10. 1:05:09 {Baptized in the Name of Jesus Only?} Why were people baptized in Jesusâ name in the book of Acts? I was challenged by this question and canât figure it out.
BONUS Q! 1:07:59 We'll probably never find every artifact or an original manuscript. But what is on your list of top biblical artifacts you hope are discovered? Israel in Egypt is one of mine.My full video on the biblical case for infant salvation is HERE.

2. 52:33 {Jesusâ Ministry â Which Nature?} Do you believe Jesus did His ministry of preaching, teaching, and healing out of His divinity, or out of His humanity empowered by the Holy Spirit, in light of Matthew 3:16-17, etc.? What about us?
3. 58:06 {Being Zealous for Godâs Glory} In light of God's zeal for His own glory in all the Earth (see Ezekiel 36:22-23; Psalm 46:10; 2 Chronicles 6:32-33), how can Christians be zealous for His glory among the nations, especially those who cannot go?
4. 1:00:52 {âThe Riverâ = Heaven?} Is there a biblical basis for songs about âcrossing the riverâ into Heaven, or is that just Greek mythology? Is the Jordan River a legitimate biblical metaphor for dying and going to the Promised Land/Heaven?
5. 1:05:55 {Thinking Biblically about All Creation} Since all is Godâs creation, will God hold us blameworthy for killing insects and other critters like cockroaches, mosquitoes, bees, spiders, mice, etc.?
6. 1:09:46 {Can the Unsaved Seek God?} Can people not yet saved seek after God? Jesus tells us in Matthew 7:7 to ââŠseek and knock and it will be opened,â but in Romans 3:10 it says âThere is no one who understands; There is no one who seeks God.â
7. 1:12:31 {Lazarusâ Resurrection â Missing?} I find the fact that the resurrection of Lazarus is missing from the Synoptics and the epistles to be unsettling. Do you have any insights on why such a massive claim is not in the earliest texts?
8. 1:16:52 {âBy Faithâ vs. âThrough Faithâ} What is the difference between âby faithâ and âthrough faithâ in Romans 3: 30?
9. 1:19:49 {Investing in Rental Properties â Sin?} I would like to start investing in rental homes. Is this flat out a sin and should I be just giving my excess to the needy people, or is it OK to invest to earn more, and just give then?
10. 1:21:35 {Are My Dreams from God?} My pastor says you can tell if a dream is from God by whether or not it aligns with Gods Word, but also if itâs very bright, warm, and vivid. He says if youâre afraid in the dream, then itâs not from God. Is that true?I do this live stream most Fridays at 1 p.m. Pacific Time. You're welcome to join.

1. 0:18 {A Biblical View of Immigration} What are some biblical thoughts surrounding the political issue of immigration?
2. 49:40 {Confessing Your Faith when Difficult} I'm a 30 y/o woman in SoCal, financially dependent on my Muslim parents. I've studied for years and Iâm now feeling called to Christ. I fear being kicked out. Any advice on how to tell them I'm Christian?
3. 52:03 {Eternal Begottenness?} Should we hold to eternal begottenness of the Son which seems to suggest that the Son was caused? It seems orthodox, but wrong to say of God.
4. 56:13 {When Discipline turns to Drudgery} William Booth says, âWe ought not consult feelings but do our duty.â How does that not then become drudgery? How do we be disciplined like Daniel, yet not mechanical?
5. 58:11 {Hosting Sinners in our Homes} Is 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 only for corporate gatherings or also for private gatherings such as family meals, etc.? Should Christians host professing Christian family members who are living in unrepentant sin?
6. 1:03:00 {Overcoming Difficult Addictions} Iâve tried SO many times trying to quit vaping. Iâm starting to feel like a bad Christian. Any advice?
7. 1:04:51 {Contemplative Prayer} I'm curious about contemplative and listening prayer practices promoted in my church. Are they rooted in or influenced by Eastern mysticism or New Age ideologies?
8. 1:08:01 {Why Didnât God Forbid Polygamy?} If verses like Exodus 21:10 aren't supporting polygamy but protecting women in a bad situation, why didn't God just outlaw polygamy outright? I agree with you, but don't know how to counter this argument.
9. 1:13:10 {Obeying our Conscience} Is Romans 14:23 about emotional doubt or intellectual doubt? For example, I'm mentally convinced that ham is OK to eat but I still doubt it emotionally. Which is my conscience to obey?

2. 9:16 {All Things vs. All This Through Christ?} The NIV changed Philippians 4:13 from I can do "all things" to "all this" which makes more sense to me in context. Do you think "all things" has been misused historically? Will other translations follow?
3. 14:52 and 19:57 {Unforgivable Sin in The Didache?} In the Didache, judging the spirits wrongly was included as the unforgivable sin. Could you explain why you think that is not the case?

5. 27:27 {Can We Live More than 120 yrs?} How come people live more than 120 years when God said we wouldnât in Genesis 6:3?

7. 37:51 {Advice for Depression & Spiritual Dryness} When I was a teen, I had depression leading to a suicide attempt. Through God I'm still here, married, and have a family. I read/study the Bible and pray, but I feel lost and far from God. Advice?
8. 42:17 {The Doctrine of Impassability} Can you help me understand the doctrine of impassability a little bit better? It's confusing for me, and I'm not sure how to relate to the Lord and bring Him my pain, knowing this doctrine.
9. 47:11 {Balancing Ministry & Family} As a young youth pastor, I am struggling to balance my desire to fully invest time and energy into ministry, with also being married with 2 young boys (2 and 1). Can you give some good principles here?

Most people don't realize that Hebrews 1 refers to the apocryphal book, "The Wisdom of Solomon" in addition to Proverbs 8. Once you do, this raises questions about whether or not Hebrews is teaching that Jesus was created, since those other books indicate that Wisdom was created and Hebrews connects Jesus to that very concept of Wisdom. We'll dig deep on that topic as we continue this detailed, verse-by-verse study of the book of Hebrews.

Question Time Stamps for Quick Reference:
1. 0:05 {What Did the Pope Say?} Have some of the things Pope Francis has recently said been heretical?
2. 39:27 {Does Sin Cause Illness?} Does sinning cause physical illness? Does refraining from sinning stop it? John 9:3 and John 5:14 seem to say both are true. Is this a contradiction?
3. 43:17 {Casting Pearls before Swine} In what ways or in what situations might Matthew 7:6 be applicable today?
4. 49:24 {Was David Conceived in Adultery?} In Psalm 51:5, David says that in sin his mother conceived him. Is he saying that he has been in sin since his conception, or that his mother was in sin when she conceived him? Was David born in adultery?
5. 55:26 {Is Calvinism Heresy?} Why isnât Calvinism more strongly condemned among non-Calvinists? The doctrine essentially teaches that God will punish people for something completely out of their control, which makes God seem unjust.
6. 1:02:35 {Is God Prideful?} Is God prideful? If our purpose in life is to glorify God, does that mean we were created only to praise Him? I know He is worthy of praise, but was He seeking praise by creating us?
7. 1:05:49 {Bible Typography} How important is Bible typography? For example, the way the KJV arranges paragraphs makes context harder to understand than in the ESV.
8. 1:10:12 {Standing With Israel?} With all of the tensions and things going on over in Israel, how should we be responding to those weâre surrounded by who hate Israel? They donât seem to understand why we stand with Israel.
9. 1:13:56 {Was Simon Always âPeterâ?} Catholics always say Jesus changed Simonâs name to Peter. However, previous verses (Matthew 16:16, John 21:15, Matthew 4:18, and Luke 5:8) refer to him as Simon Peter. Jesus says, âYou are PeterâŠâ not âFrom now on, you are Peter.â Was Simon always known as Peter?
10. 1:20:35 {Adam â âLeave & Cleaveâ?} How do you interpret Genesis 2:24? How could Adam come with such a statement, since he had no earthly mother or father?I do this live stream most Fridays at 1 p.m. Pacific Time. You're welcome to join.

Question Time Stamps for Quick Reference:
1. 0:10 {The Chosenâs New Book} Did The Chosen make their own Gospel?
2. 29:00 {Our Attitude when God Works Through Us} Is it sinful for a Christian to be pleased when God enables them to do a good work (Isaiah 64:6, Galatians 6:4)?
3. 34:27 {Is YHWH Biased?} How do we know YHWH isn't just BIASED with His Word (as one would be in any form of competition), when God says "There is no other, beside Me there is no God" in Isaiah 45:5 or "I know not any" in Isaiah 44:8?
4. 43:27 {Did Christ Become the HS?} Does 1 Corinthians 15:45 mean that Christ became the Holy Spirit? I was taught this growing up, but it seems like Modalism to me now. I canât break from this reading of the verse since I left that group.
5. 54:30 {How to Love Your Neighbor As Yourself} What does it mean to love your neighbor as yourself? Do I put their needs equal to mine, or above mine?
6. 58:48 {Are Believers âPriestsâ?} What are the implications of believers being called to be "A Holy Priesthood" (1 Peter 2:5)? Does this mean we need to view ourselves as priests?
7. â1:04:00 {Typology = Eisegesis?} Is it eisegesis to interpret the Old Testament as depicting Jesus? I commonly hear this objection from Jews who say Christians are "inserting their theology into our book."
8. â1:10:29 {Tongues = Vain Repetition?} Would it be fair to consider the way some churches use tongues in opposition to 1 Corinthians 14 as a form of "vain repetition" (Matthew 6:5-8)?
9. â1:19:23 {How to Know if We Should Marry Someone} What are some biblical ways to help you decide if you should marry someone?
10. 1:24:24 {Why Evangelize?} Why should we evangelize, other than because God tells us to? If it would be God's will for someone to hear about Him, wouldn't God's will happen anyway? And based on Matthew 10:14-15, wouldnât they be worse off?Links that may interest you...

Today's Time Stamps:
1. 0:31 {How to Pray Without Ceasing} What does it mean to "pray without ceasing" as instructed in 1Thessalonians 5:17, and how do we practically achieve this?
2. 17:44 {Proof of Annihilationism?} Does Isaiah 66:24 prove annihilationism? The only counter verse seems to be Revelation 14:10-11 and most of the Bible talks about Sheol, perishing, or the wages being death.
3. 25:35 {WHY is Cussing Wrong?} I know I'm "supposed to" believe cuss words are bad to use as a Christian, but can you help me REALLY understand why? Most of them don't "feel" wrong to say in casual settings, especially if I'm by MYSELF (home alone and I trip or something).
4. 33:11 {Demons Drowning â Why?} When Jesus cast the Legion of demons into the swine, why do they proceed to drown themselves? It showed the validity of the man being healed, but what was the actual reason for the demons to do so?
5. 38:37 {Can We Truly Learn if Forgiven?} My friend says he doesn't want forgiveness because he won't learn from his mistakes if he doesn't face consequences. How would you respond?
6. 45:26 {Must All People Hear before Rapture?} Does Matthew 24:14 teach that the rapture will not happen until all people groups hear the Gospel? Or could Christ return before this happens?
7. 53:39 {Marriage in Godâs Eyes} What does it take for someone to be considered married in the eyes of God? A ceremony? A presiding religious leader? Religious words spoken? Having a legal certificate? Intimate acts?
8. 1:01:35 {Are We Judged Twice?} Are we judged twice? Luke 16:19-23 and Revelation 20:11-13 suggest so.
9. 1:09:41 {Can WE Bless GOD?} Popular worship song lyrics say things like "I bless You" (as in we humans can bless God) and "You are enough, so I am enough." Is this biblical? Does Christ's righteousness imparted onto us also make us "enough"?
10. 1:20:27 {Voting for the âLesser of 2 Evilsâ?} Is it biblical to vote for âthe lesser of two evilsâ? Could you point to something in Scripture to help us understand why or why not?Links you may be interested in...

Question Time Stamps for Quick Reference:
1. 0:00 {How Does God Reveal Himself Today?} Why did God reveal Himself to ignorant people 2,000 years ago? Why doesnât God do it for everyone today?
2. 25:45 {More Than One Interpretation?} Can Scripture have more than one correct interpretation? I know Psalm 22 can, but Catholics believe this is so with Peter as the rock in Matthew 16:18 or Mary in Revelation 12. Is there a good method to test Scripture for this?
3. 36:00 {Multiplying Gifts & Producing Fruit} What does the word âinterestâ mean (spiritually speaking) in Luke 19:23? How can one not multiply Godâs gifts but still produce fruit?
4. 44:13 {Learning from Fallen Pastors?} Do you think it's wise to listen to preachers who have "fallen from grace" like Mark Driscoll? I find much of his preaching very life-giving, but I get judgment from other Christians.
5. 52:26 {The Purpose of the HSâs Intercession} In Romans 8:26-27, does the Spirit intercede in order to clarify what's in our hearts to God, or is it more to help us understand God's will and how He can help us mend our troubled hearts?
6. 57:04 {Is there Time in Heaven?} Looking at these passages, is there time in Heaven? 2 Peter 3:8, Ephesians 1:10, Revelation 21, Daniel 9:13.
7. 1:07:51 {Do our Lives Affect our Eternity?} Is our ability to rule and reign with God in His new world forever (Revelation 22:5) dependent on how we serve God in our lifetime for His mission (Luke 19:17)?
8. 1:12:57 {Serving God in our Professions} I am a DJ on a secular radio station. Knowing what's in many of the songs, I wonder if I am not pleasing the Lord by being in this job. Is this a matter of conscience?
9. 1:16:38 {Did Jonah Actually Die?} Did Jonah die? I was introduced to this theory by social media and was surprised to see a lot of people think he died and was risen based off of Jonah 2:1-6, Jewish tradition, and The Sign of Jonah.
10. 1:25:05 {Nazirite Vows â Why Long Hair?} If long hair for men is a disgrace by nature (1 Corinthians 11:14), then why is it part of the Nazirite vow in Numbers 6:5?Links you may want:
