Papa Tango Sierra Delta is the phonetic spelling of PTSD. This psychiatric injury, which may occur in people who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic event, series of events or set of circumstances, is up to five (5) times more common in first responders. Due to fears of stigmas, stereotypes, negative repercussions at the workplace, inclusive of being discharged, and a plethora of other reasons, many feel alone and acutely uncomfortable about speaking out; this has led to a suicide epidemic. The Papa Tango Sierra Delta podcast journals the journey, thoughts & experiences of an active, senior police officer who has been diagnosed with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), as well as the stories shared by fellow struggling members of the military, police, fire, EMS, dispatch, corrections, nursing, search & rescue, and other law enforcement, public safety & healthcare professionals.

Preconceived: Five Stories of IVF and Surrogacy is a collection of conversations with women who had very different experiences going through in vitro fertilization for that one outcome: a baby. Laura went through an IVF journey because of her PCOS diagnosis and a series of miscarriages. Kate went through IVF for a reason not commonly talked about. You'll also hear three surrogacy stories: Heidi was a gestational carrier* twice, working through an agency. Her story demonstrates the unpredictability of the process. Libby was a gestational carrier* for a friend without compensation. These stories dismantle our thinking about conception and parenthood. They also provoke, deepen our understanding, and give aspiring parents suffering with infertility, hope. Join Leila Jerusalem as she discovers more about an often silent struggle for many couples, and IVF, miscarriages, surrogacy and the disappointments and triumphs that go with it.
*Although Heidi and Libby were gestational carriers we refer to them as surrogates in this episode. These two terms are used interchangeably. -

The Shit Stick of Life is a podcast about people who have used the proverbial shit stick of life to launch into vibrant, fulfilling, and meaningful next chapters. It’s about how we come back; from failure to betrayal, and move through tragedy and loss. Each episode will feature honest, inspiring conversations about resilience.
Podcast host and re-visionary Kortney Wilson knows a thing or two about reinventing herself. She's been an actress (ironically, on the soap opera One Life to Live), a signed recording artist, a reality television star, an author, a real estate agent, a house flipper, a home designer, a style influencer, and the host of multiple shows on HGTV. When her "perfect" marriage of 20 years ended, surfacing decades of secrets and betrayals, the shock and devastation shook her to her core. She called EVERY aspect of her life into question.
On The Shit Stick of Life Podcast, Kortney shares her story and goes deep in conversation with her heroes, artists, authors, activists, and others--who have transformed their lives and reinvented themselves in the face of extraordinary setbacks.
