West Seneca's Eric Van Houten is now a Nashville resident pursuing his dream of country music superstardom. His 2022 full length album "Dreamers" (available everywhere music can be found) is gaining national recognition. His talent has been so recognized that country songwriter Chris Destefano, who's written #1 hits for Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and MIranda Lambert, has started writing for Eric. He'll be back in WNY performing live at the Howl in the Hills concert August 6th at Holland Speedway. The show also features Gary Levox from Rascal Flatts. I'm admittedly rock n roll to the core but this interview impressed me enough to dip my toe into the country world and I was moved for sure. Enjoy it! Subscribe, like, laugh, share with every country music fan you know and spread the Bull in the Basement love! Thank you as always!

John Cimperman is a fascinating guy. The Ohio native is a marketer extraordinaire. He's worked for the Sabres, the LA Kings, the Cleveland Cavaliers and has consulted many other sports teams. He also owns his own marketing company currently and came back to Buffalo (East Aurora) to raise his family and startup a dream he always had. A brewery. 42 North was born in 2015. Its head brewer at the time was a gentleman of Ukrainian decent. Naz Drebot got the beer ball rolling and soon thereafter went back home to Lviv Ukraine to open his own brewery. He still resides there amongst this terrible conflict and to help his countrymen and women, came up with a beer recipe, that through its sales will benefit the Ukrainian people in every way possible. "Resolve" is being brewed around the world and in Buffalo fittingly at 42North. This unique fundraiser kicks off the first week in April. Here, you'll find out how you can help by doing what you love, enjoying craft beer!!! Thanks for watching and listening. Laugh and learn lots! Please share, like, subscribe for such a great cause. Enjoy!!!

How many of us have played an instrument at one time or another? As a school kid, as a high schooler, cover band, original band? Most of us have had some sort of experience musically good or bad. So all of you should be able to relate to this episode's guest who has been classically trained around the world and found, pound for pound, one of the best orchestras in the US right here in Buffalo. That's why he's worked with the Grammy award winning and one of the most recorded philharmonics in the world, the BPO, since 1998. He's been in every kind of band including yes, marching. Walking and chewing gum are hard for some. How about marching in a choreographed maneuver while playing a difficult song. we discuss it. His stories are awesome as we explore the inside workings of a professional orchestra. We even talk about band camp. :) He played at my wedding as my bride walked down the aisle and is one of the most accomplished musicians in Buffalo. So, parents of kids who play, listen. He's got suggestions for you. Laugh and learn lots! Thanks for watching, enjoy, like, subscribe, and share. As always thank you!

This episode is a total roller coaster with lots of twists and turns..we start with Andrew's career and his "role" as an NHL'er. How he get there. How he dealt with his unique role (typically one per team). We learn about his idol and the anecdote about meeting him and the chance to play against him. And then we had a moment. One of which I am so appreciative for his confidence in me to share personal life events which deal with substance abuse and mental illness of which he suffered from. He then shares how he's been able to down many of his demons and from there, how he's helped others and continues to, through his podcast. Please watch. Please share family and friends, with anyone you know who's dealing with mental illness issues. Please share with hockey fans. And as always, laugh, learn, like, and please subscribe.
