  • Hello, my spectral spectators! Clinton Baptiste here, bringing you another spine-tingling episode of the Paranormal Podcast.

This week's episode begins with me backstage at the Majestic Theatre in Darlington, just before I go on stage. The air is thick with anticipation and perhaps a few lingering spirits!

Back in the studio, Linda regales us with tales of her faulty plumbing at home. Nightmare stuff, but nothing we canā€™t handle with a bit of ghostly humor!

We then delve into an email from Mark Anthony Kirkland, sharing a spooky story that will make your hair stand on end.

Following that, we read an email from Joanne Davies and then speak to Joanne about her eerie encounter, recorded on Zoom. Honestly, where else can you get so many ghost stories in one podcast?!

Next, we dive into some more of the readers' problems from Take A Break magazine. From the mundane to the mystically absurd, we cover it all.

Then, I have the pleasure of introducing James Kilvington, a comic who shares the perils of a drunken audience and the challenges of going on stage.

We continue with more problems and then a juicy story about Michael Maloney and Glenn Close. What do they get up to? Youā€™ll have to listen to find out!

Stay tuned for an episode filled with laughter, chills, and the otherworldly advice you've come to love.

  • Hello, my spectral spectators! Clinton Baptiste here, bringing you another chilling episode of the Paranormal Podcast.

Linda and I kick things off by chatting about the Summertime Ball. We dive into the chaos of gigs and the awkwardness of doing a wee in a packed stadium. Ah, the glamorous life of a performer!

Next, we delve into a haunted house story from Take A Break magazine. Itā€™s another incredibly crap story, but itā€™s always fun to poke fun at these spooky tales.

We then talk about mascara running and women laying it on with a trowel. Makeup mishaps and supernatural shenanigans, what a combination!

Problems and fortune cookies take center stage as we explore the mysteries hidden in those little slips of paper. Clinton asks Linda, ā€œEver got a thought stuck in your head?ā€ A question that leads to some intriguing and hilarious revelations.

We tackle another problem about a husband with a new wife whoā€™s pregnant. Relationships and the paranormal make for an interesting mix.

Our episode is packed with interviews. First, we chat with Chris Williams, followed by an interview with Luke Thompson from the Majestic in Darlington. These conversations are filled with ghostly insights and spine-tingling stories.

We also discuss ceilings falling down and how sometimes the mundane can become mysteriously eerie.

Our Bitesize Shiver segment features ā€œArt And Soul,ā€ a story about a painting with a paranormal twist.

Then, we share a heartwarming and spooky tale about an old gran who comes to visit and then goes out shopping with her. Family reunions have never been so otherworldly!

Finally, we wrap up with a bit of final chat about my RollerGhoster tour. https://www.clintonbaptiste.com/tour

  • Leicester Square Spirits, Dump Drama, and Ghostly Guests

Hello, my spectral spectators! Clinton Baptiste here, reporting live from the legendary Leicester Square Theatre in that there London! A venue so atmospheric, itā€™s practically haunted by talent!

This week, we're without Harry, but fear notā€”we speak to Alex, my new manager. Letā€™s see what he has to say for himself! Funny how Harry didnā€™t mention me in his farewells, but no offence taken!

Linda chimes in with a tale of illegal manoeuvres at the dumpā€”sheā€™s run off an old computer, history erased! I used to love the dump, but as I get older, the thought of chucking loads of stuff away makes me sick. Plus, those vicious authoritarian blokes running it these daysā€”absolute jobsworths! Itā€™s like dealing with the ghosts of your past belongings!

Next up, a story about people who met over coffee, leading to a discussion about affairs at motorway services. Honestly, Iā€™m always seeing people in suits meeting up thereā€”whatā€™s that all about? It's like the hauntings of secret rendezvous!

Then, Keely Potts joins us to discuss the intriguing things people have sent her for her article in Fate and Fortune magazine. You wonā€™t believe the spooky treasures people have tucked away!

We then head to The Majestic in Darlington, where I chat with Matthew Bell and Nathan Large about ghostly sightings. Following that, I interview Hayley Waters about her eerie experiences there. Itā€™s a tale of spectral sightings and paranormal ponderings that will chill you to the bone!

We dive into an article about a woman who had all her kids as Piscesā€”quite bizarre! Linda thinks the woman should grow up, but Linda's a right poo-pooer of everything. Itā€™s as if the stars themselves are orchestrating a cosmic joke!

We read some spine-tingling stories, including Jonathan Ansteeā€™s ghost story and a tale from James Dean Fox about dating apps and unwelcome guests who overstay their welcome. Imagine swiping right on a ghost!

All this, plus loads of other chit-chat with the ever-entertaining Linda Pollock! Send me a voice note on your phone to [email protected]. Iā€™d love to hear your spooky stories!

Stay tuned for an episode filled with laughter, chills, and the otherworldly advice you've come to love.

  • Hello, my spectral spectators! Clinton Baptiste here, broadcasting from the legendary Cheese and Grain Theatre in Somersetā€”a venue so atmospheric, itā€™s practically haunted by talent!

This week, we're back on the road with Harry, who, sadly, is leaving us. But fear not, his spirit lingers with us! We chat about his favourite moments on tourā€”Harry loved the mystical north of England and working with an array of eclectic techs. Funny how he didnā€™t mention me, but no offence taken!

Linda's back in the studio, and yes, itā€™s still a bit echoey. Iā€™ve draped duvets around to absorb the ethereal whispers. Linda's been treating her body like a temple, dining on poached eggs on toast and salads. Hilarious, considering I just handed her a salted caramel brownie two minutes ago!

Now, onto the spine-tingling tales! From Fate and Fortune magazine, we bring you a hair-raising story from Lady Cadaver: "Who Was the Old Lady Walking Towards the Ward?" This chilling tale of a nurse who encountered a talking ghost in the ward is guaranteed to send shivers down your spine. Thank you, Gillian, for this supernatural scoop!

I was also in Carlisle, where I met Dave Beatie and his wife Rebeccaā€”both a bit worse for wear after one of my shows. In the bar, amidst slurred words and giggles, Dave recounted a ghostly encounter in a Welsh hotel where the kettle turned on by itself in the dead of night. Rebecca chimed in with her own tipsy tales, making for an evening of spooky, drunken fun. Simply incredible, right?!

We delve into spooky signs with Maria Fletcherā€™s tale of her late mumā€™s messages from beyond. Blue roses and cryptic car registrationsā€”are these signs from the universe or just whimsical coincidences? You be the judge!

Another eerie tale involves a haunted dummy named Uncle Herb. Nothing like a creepy ventriloquist dummy to send shivers down your spine!

I also speak to Gavin Cunningham, who sent us a ghost story. A little advice, Gavinā€”maybe finish your dinner before recording next time?

Linda and I dive into more Fate and Fortune stories and loads of other chit-chat to keep your paranormal senses tingling.

Send me a voice note on your phone to [email protected]. Iā€™d love to hear your spooky stories!

Stay tuned for an episode filled with laughter, chills, and the otherworldly advice you've come to love.

  • Season 7 - Episode 6

Hello, my spectral spectators! Clinton Baptiste here, currently performing in the hauntingly beautiful city of Cambridge.

We kick things off with my tour manager, Harry, and I having a natter about the local spaā€”always a highlight on tour. Itā€™s a place where the waters are so soothing, youā€™d think they were blessed by a friendly ghost.

Then, Linda chimes in with a spooky tale about George Michael Lamberti, the George Michael lookalike performer. Was it good? We dive into the world of George Michael and pop music, reminiscing about the good old days. The way he channels George, youā€™d swear thereā€™s something supernatural about it!

Next, we tackle some problems from the magazine Fate and Fortune. First up, a troubling tale about a drug-taking sex-obsessed husband. How can one stop the sex when it's too much? Itā€™s a problem that even the spirits are puzzled by. Then, a problem about a gambling addiction thatā€™s causing havoc, almost as if the cards themselves were cursed.

Weā€™re thrilled to introduce Luke Goddard from the Southend Palace Theatre, followed by a recording of an interview with him. Always a pleasure to have

a chat with folks from the theatre world, where every stage might just be haunted.

Then, we share a heartwarming story about someone who rang the wrong number and ended up marrying that personā€”proof that fate works in mysterious ways, perhaps guided by unseen hands.

We also read out an email from Anne Bristoe about her time at Butlins. Less spooky, more about Titan the robot from Butlins. Strange and fascinating, indeed! Not sure what thatā€™s all about to be honest!?

Finally, we wrap up with a truly eerie story about the appearance of a hanging man in an alcove. A mother ignores her daughter's pleas that he exists, even when the school gets involved. Itā€™s a tale that sends shivers down your spine and makes you wonder about the things we cannot see.

Stay tuned for an episode filled with laughter, chills, and the otherworldly advice you've come to love.

  • Hello, my ethereal enthusiasts! Clinton Baptiste here, ready to take you on another journey beyond the Celestial Curtain.

This week's episode kicks off with Harry, our tour manager, chatting away in the tour car. We cover everything from the latest on "I'm a Celebrity" to the bizarre revelation that Boyzone might have their own tire shop!

Linda joins in to discuss firing up the hot tub for the first time this season. We ponder the mysteries of hot tub maintenanceā€”do you fill it with new water each time? Isn't it a bit boring after a while? And, dare I say it, isn't it a bit swinger-ish?

We delve into what gets me excited for summer: from my local boozer to the unexpected mention of the British National Party. It's all part of the seasonal fun.

A particularly snobby review of my show came up, and I want to address it with you, my loyal audience. Apologies if it seemed classistā€”letā€™s keep the spirit world inclusive for all!

I had a wonderful chat with Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist on TalkSport this week. Weā€™ll play a clip of that appearance, so you can hear all the spectral banter firsthand.

Linda Pollock and I have our usual natter, diving into topics like Bite Size Shivers, featuring a witch who promises to make you rich. We also tackle some listener problems, including a bush that needs trimming and a nagging doubt about a partner.

Weā€™re thrilled to have an interview with the fascinating Steve Gunn, followed by a spooky story sent in by Suzanne Emery. Weā€™ll even have her join us on Zoom to discuss her chilling encounter.

Finally, we round off with "A Day in the Afterlife" with Sandrea Mossess, where Sandrea feeds back to people who write into her column with their ghostly queries.

Stay tuned for an episode brimming with laughter, chills, and the otherworldly advice you've come to love.

We kick off with a "Live" segment from the Tyne Theatre, where the energy is as electric as ever. Then, we jump into the car with Harry, who has some thoughts on Burger King that you won't want to miss.

Back in the studio, Katherine shares a delightful anecdote about recently being mistaken for George Harrisonā€”complete with all the hair and charm.

Our paranormal journey continues as we delve into a spooky tale about a cat from 'Fate and Fortune'. Trust me, this feline story is one for the ages.

Linda, our resident expert in sex and relationship woes, tackles some intriguing problems sent in to James Dean Fox. The episode takes a twist with Ruth, who claims she's been stalked by the ghost of Michael Hutchence. Intrigued? You should be.

  • Unlock the Gates to the Other Side: Prepare to journey into the unknown.

This week marks the final instalment of our "Best Of" series, offering a tantalising glimpse into the paranormal before we dive headfirst into new, series 7 adventures.

In this riveting archive compilation, we traverse the realms of the supernatural, encountering a spectrum of experiences that will leave you spellbound. From comedic escapades to spine-chilling encounters, buckle up for a rollercoaster ride through the unexplained.

We kick things off with an interview featuring Angelos Epithemiou, as we delve into the world of hauntings and unearth a tale that proves to be more fiction than fact ā€“ a humorous detour into the realm of imagination.

Next, we confront the ongoing saga of Ruth's antics, from her troublesome interactions with Linda at the flat to the endless phone calls that never seem to end. Brace yourself for a dose of drama and a dash of humour as we navigate the intricacies of everyday life.

Then, we rewind the tapes to revisit the infamous Yvette Fielding incident, where an attempt to deliver a heartfelt gesture quickly spirals into chaos. Guard dogs, red roses, and a hasty retreat ā€“ it's a tale that's as bizarre as it is unforgettable.

And finally, we eavesdrop on a spirited conversation between myself and my Scottish friend, Ramone, as we engage in yet another spirited debate. Will our differences ever be resolved? Only time will tell.

As we bid farewell to the past and prepare to embrace the future, i'd like to say thankyou for the support which keeps the paranormal alive, and we couldn't do it without you.

    Spiritually yours,

    Clint.x

  • šŸ”‘ Brace yourselves as we dip back into the archive of our podcast past for "Even More Best Bits!" This collection is brimming with the moments that have defined our adventures together, now with an added sprinkle of the supernatural.

šŸ“± We kick things off with a couple of eerie messages on my spirit phoneā€”dead celebs on the line, or so it seems. Truth be told, it's probably just a bit of otherworldly pocket dialing, but who's to say?

šŸ’‘ Then, we're revisiting our dear friends Barry and Margaret, navigating the stormy seas of marriage with guidance counselingā€”and a form that's caused more chuckles than clarity. This week, we're pressing on with the interrogation, though Margaret's modesty has us shouting questions through the door!

šŸŒæ Over at Ruth's, mourning meets the mundane as we ponder the potential for a rubber plant's resurrection on the Repair Shop. It's an emotional journey, peppered with my own doubts about its prime-time potential.

šŸŽ‰ Eric's escapade at Barry's house party takes a turn for the familial, with unexpected agreements and alliances forming amidst the revelry.

šŸŽ¤ And finally, our spiritual soiree at the 100 Club on Oxford Street, where your ghostly tales stole the show. Each story, a thread in the rich tapestry of our shared curiosity and wonder.

As we close the book on "Even More Best Bits!", remember, the journey's far from over. Stay tuned, stay engaged, and who knows what treasures we'll unearth next.

Embrace the mysteries, revel in the laughter, and, most importantly, keep listening. Our next season promises even grander adventures into the unknown.

    Spiritually yours, Clint.x

  • A Journey Through the Best Bits - Compilation 2

šŸ”‘ Yes, it's that time again! Dive deep into the archives with me, Clinton Baptiste, as we unleash "More Best Bits" from our spectral journey. This collection is brimming with the unforgettable, the inexplicable, and the downright hilarious moments that have lit up our episodes.

šŸŽ¤ We're rolling back to the unforgettable chat with Vic Reeves, where he shares a spine-tingling tale that might just have you sleeping with the lights on. But the question remainsā€”is it as real as it gets, or just another Reeves rollercoaster?

šŸ•µļøā€ā™‚ļø Then, we welcome back the enigmatic Angelos Epithemiou. His stories are always a hit, but can you tell fact from fiction? Decide for yourself as he spins another yarn that teeters on the edge of believability.

šŸ‘« Barry and Irene also make a grand return, sharing more of their life's quirks and quibbles, proving yet again why they're podcast gold.

šŸ  On a personal note, as I navigate the trials of selling my flat, Ruth, ever the catalyst, stirs up more trouble. It's a saga you won't want to miss.

Stay tuned, keep laughing, and keep questioning the world around us. "More Best Bits" is just the appetizerā€”our next season is simmering on the stove and ready to serve shortly.

Until then, embrace the mystery, enjoy the laughs, and remember, the paranormal is just a play button away.

  • A Journey Through the Best Bits - Compilation 1

šŸ”® Greetings, spectral seekers and aficionados of the absurd! Clinton Baptiste here, taking you on a detour from the depths of the archives to the glittering highlights of our past episodes. This week, we're not just peeking behind the veil; we're revisiting the moments that made us laugh, gasp, and maybe even shed a tear of bewilderment.

A Bit of Barry, A Touch of Romance, and a Dash of the Paranormal

First up, we dive into the heartwarming (and sightly misguided) attempt to fan the flames of romance between Barry from Watford and his beloved Margaret. Picture this: Barry, with his vision not what it used to be, and me, trying to navigate the delicate topics of a form designed to spark a bit of passion. It's a scene you won't want to miss.

Then, thereā€™s Ruth from Erskine Court, whoā€™s got her heart set on rejuvenating her late father's cherished rubber plant on the 'Repair shop'. Despite my reservations about its TV potential (or lack thereof), it's the thoughtā€”and the memoriesā€”that count.

Our journey back into the land of love takes a comedic twist as we circle back to Barry and Margaret. This time, the questions are for Margaret, but letā€™s just say, modesty prevails, leading us to a conversation through a bathroom door. It's as bizarre as it sounds.

And, of course, what's a look-back without a live detour to the 100 Club? Your spooky stories, shared in the flesh, remind us all why we love the mysterious and the unexplained.

    What's Next?

As we wrap up this week's foray into the best bits of seasons gone by, remember, these gems are just the beginning. Stay tuned for more edits, more laughs, and more bewildering moments that keep us all coming back for more.

Until next time, keep your minds open and your spirits high. The world is full of wonders, waiting just around the corner.

    Spiritually and humorously yours, Clint.x

  • šŸ”Š In this final echo from our treasured archives, we tread softly through the halls of memory to Line 1 with Nick from Leighton Buzzard. Amid the tranquility of a church prayer, an unseen presence delivers a chilling touch. Was it a spectral summon or a figment of holy imagination? I step into the shoes of the skeptic to unravel this spiritual enigma.

šŸ• Then, Anthony from Blackburn dials Line 3 with a tail-wagging terror. His auntie's dogs dash and dart as if chasing invisible intruders. Canine instincts or ghostly guests? Letā€™s sniff out the truth behind these paranormal pup antics.

šŸŒ³ Racheal from Bristol brings salvation to Line 2 with a floating mystery from '98. A levitating plank of wood in a home mid-renovation defies gravityā€”and belief. A spectral illusion, or was it simply the spirit of DIY gone astray?

šŸ”¬ Over on Line 2, Phil from Warrington shares a tale tinged with terror and... sewage samples. A pinch and a phantom in an old hospital lab lead to an X-rated revelation of a frazzle-fancying former employee. Itā€™s a story that gives new meaning to ā€˜things that go bump in the night.ā€™

šŸ‘¤ Finally, David from Essex's uncanny experience on Line 2 casts a reflection on the strange. A caravan holiday, a late-night loo trip, and a mirror with a mind of its ownā€”or was it? Reflections may deceive, but the second glance reveals a startling spectacle.

As we close the creaky door on our archive series, I hope youā€™ve enjoyed these remastered relics as much as I have. More tales lurk in the vault, but alas, a spectral spider infestation and the gremlins of time have spun webs and warps too wicked to salvage the rest. Fear not, for our journey through the unknown continues with new ethereal episodes on the horizon.

Until next time, keep listening... for the whispers of the past may yet find a way to reach us in the shadows of tomorrow.

    Spiritually yours

  • EP 020: Ghostly Encounters & Paranormal Puzzles - The Archive Remastered

šŸ‘» Welcome back to the vault, spectral enthusiasts! As we dust off the archives, join me, your tech-challenged host, as I fumble with my recorderā€”some things never change. This week's remastered episode takes us through corridors of mystery and rooms rattled with the echoes of the past.

šŸŽ In the spotlight, we have Alex Winter sharing a spine-tingling tale from the theatre's wings. His mother, a night-shift nurse and staunch skeptic, encountered a phantom golden retriever at the hospitalā€”a touching nod, perhaps, to her own departed pets. We're peeling back the veil to uncover the truth.

šŸ” Rewind to 1993: the year I first came face-to-face with a ghost. Imagine Stockport, a ramshackle house, and a fast-food worker with a fascination for the afterlifeā€”that's me. The apparition? A trouserless specter in my girlfriend's bedroom. Brace yourselves as I revisit this spectral intrusion.

šŸ”® Mike Cox steps out of the dressing room and into the paranormal fray, recounting his eerie Ouija board encounter at 12. Meet ALF, the spirit with a story, and hear the chilling aftermath of that fateful call to the beyond.

šŸ› But that's not all. Mike's anecdote of a friend, tormented by a cottage's sinister spirit, and the dark history of a drowned child, sends shivers down our spines. And let's not forget the police officer's pursuit that ended in a wall. These tales might just make you rethink your next bath or late-night stroll.

As we conclude this haunting journey, Mike's earned a solid 6/10 on our ghostly leaderboard. Think you've got a story to top that? Reach out and share your paranormal encounters.

šŸ“² Follow Mike's comedic adventures with the supernatural and beyond on Instagram at comedy_mike.

Until next time, keep your recorders handy and your eyes peeledā€”there's always more to the story.
