South Florida-based singer-songwriter Leah Dibut begins 2025 with a powerful new chapter in her career, releasing her latest single, âThank You.â Blending her signature mix of pop and R&B with raw emotion and storytelling, Dibutâs new track delivers an empowering message of resilience and self-love.
ââThank Youâ came from a very personal place,â Leah shared. âI went through a moment in my life where I felt impacted by someone in a way that shook me, and I knew I needed to write this song for myself. That purpose really comes through in the lyrics.â
Leah Dibutâs voice, known for its velvety tone and soulful delivery, brings a dynamic range of emotions to âThank You.â Reflecting on the creative process, she said, âOne of my favorite elements of the song is how it feels. From the subtle storytelling of the first verse to how the intensity builds as the song progresses, itâs an elevation of emotion that I love.â
Creating the single wasnât without its challenges. Leah worked closely with a trusted collaborator who understood her vision. âFinding the right words was tough,â she admitted. âYou have so many feelings running through you, and itâs hard to put them into words. But having someone whoâs been through similar experiences helped bring everything together.â
The music video for âThank Youâ is a visual representation of Leahâs evolution as an artist. Working with her mother to conceptualize the visuals, Leah embraced a darker, edgier aesthetic. âWe wanted to capture something different, something I hadnât done before,â she explained. âIt was about bringing out the edginess inside of me, and thatâs reflected in everythingâfrom the colors to the roaring â20s-inspired hairstyle.â
Although Leah is rebranding as an independent artist after signing with Mr305 Records in 2023, her commitment to authenticity remains unwavering. She credits her time with the label for teaching her how to balance artistry with personal life, lessons she now applies to her independent career. âI learned so much during that timeâabout myself, being in the studio, and balancing being an artist with being a normal person. That was a major highlight in my career.â
When asked what she hopes listeners take from the single, Leah emphasized the importance of vulnerability and self-expression. âI want people to know that Iâm just as human as they are. I get frustrated, I donât always get along with people, and thatâs okay. My message is that itâs cool to say whateverâs on your mind and to feel those emotionsâthatâs what makes us human.â
As she continues to evolve as an artist, Leahâs focus remains on building a strong connection with her audience. âI want to be their voice,â she said passionately. âWhatever theyâre going through, I want them to know Iâm here for them. I want a strong relationship with my listeners because weâre all in this together.â

BioThe Reckless is excited to share their newest EP, Who Are You, after a string of singles
over the past few years. The titular track âWho Are Youâ is a powerhouse debut of their
evolved sound and welcomes listeners to a new era of The Reckless.
Since its debut, the band has undergone a complete sound evolution. The Reckless
began during the pandemic as a one-man show by frontman Fritz Fayman. Joined by
talented musicians who shared his vision, Fayman soon welcomed bassist Michael
Kennedy, who would become a mainstay member. During this period, the band released
one EP, The Get in a Fight EP, while trying to strike harmony with fleeting band
members. Soon after, they encountered Riku Myllykoski, who joined the group on
drums. Within months, John Kelly joined on guitar to complete the group.
âOur sound has become more advanced with our current crew,â shares Fritz Fayman.
âEveryone is doing more to the songâitâs not just me writing everything. Everyone is
doing their parts, which allows for a blending of our styles. There is a level of humility
amongst all our band members. Weâre each figuring out what weâre good at and
combining influences and sounds to reach our potential and continued potential.â
Now, The Reckless weaves the distinct interests and musical backgrounds of the four
members to create the robust, authentic, and captivating sound found in their latest EP,
Who Are You.
The band is committed to releasing new music every 3-4 months to connect with their
growing fanbase. âWe started making singles for content and creating new music as we
worked to nail down our sound as a group,â shares Fayman. âWe were practicing for two
hours twice a week to make sure we were the best band we could be at live shows.â
Their effort has paid off, as demonstrated by captivated audiences during their
powerhouse performances.
Who Are You combines four unique songs into one memorable EP. The titular single,
âWho Are Youâ opens the stage, followed by the rock anthem âDo it for Free,â the pop-
punk banger âHome,â the reimagined throwback song âGO ON,â and the thoughtful
finale âRemember Me.â Each song contributes a new layer of complexity to the groupâs
sound, which comes together with Fritzâs emotive singing from track to track.
The headline track, âWho Are Youâ began as a riff Fritz put together. âI brought it to the
band and asked what they thought. The song turned out to be an example of the whole
band working together. Riff, base line, drum bits⊠we each contributed our part.â
âThe EP is a great example of how much weâve grown,â adds Fayman. âThere is such a
difference between our first EP and the newer EP that demonstrates our ability to
evolve.â
âWho Are Youâ was born from a casual exploratory session, during which Fritz Fayman
developed a riff in drop d tuningâinspired by some of the more metal bands Fritz had
recently been listening toâthat was heavy yet simple. Playing around, he created a
rough outline of the song and brought the band in to contribute their thoughts.
âIt brought out the vibe of a walkout song for a baseball pitcher,â explains Fayman. âItâs
about to go down right now. That excitement from the feeling of watching your favorite
player walking out.â The drumbeat was created using rim shots (outer edges of the
drum), followed by a heavy bass sound. Then came the addition of a guitar riff.
âAs we played more, the song came together. Intro. Verse. Lyrics. We took inspiration
from a post we made where we got our first kind of hate comment. We laughed because
weâd made it with that first hate comment.â As Fayman explains, itâs not about the
people writing hateful comments, rather about getting past negativity and writing a great
song to counter what they were saying.
âItâs an angry, upbeat, powerful song,â he adds. âItâs a great example of everything The
Reckless is capable of and does with its wide variety of dynamic shifts, hard-hitting
moments, pauses, and impactful lyrics. Iâm really proud of that song.â
At the end of the day, The Reckless wants listeners to know that itâs worth giving your
passion a shotâand really trying your best. Theyâre excited to keep entertaining live
audiences and giving music lovers a chance to unwind and feel free to express
themselves. Listeners can look forward to more music from The Reckless in the coming
months.

Born to Nigerian immigrants, Dolapo, along with his nine siblings, was taught generosity and the
importance of serving others. Growing up in Ford Heights, IL and attending Bloom Trial High
School, Dolapo attended Morehouse College in Atlanta GA. After earning several academic
degrees and with an extensive career in medical field. Dolapo looked for ways to pour back into
his community, he focused on leadership development and joined several organizations aligned
with his focus. The former President of the 100 Black Men of American, North Atlanta chapter
and member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc continues to hold mentoring close to his heart.
His continued urge to challenge himself lead Dolapo to take a direct pivot from healthcare
management to artist management. Dolapo has worked alongside Quality Control Music and
supported several Grammy-nominated artists.
Dolapoâs entertainment accolades donât stop there: he is the Co-owner of Atlantaâs #1 nightspot,
Blu Lagoon Bar and Bistro, and Co-owner of Havana Lounge, another popular Atlanta nightspot.

Ollie Byrd finally dated the girl he had dreamed of since he was 14. They were together for several years before parting ways. A year after the breakup, Ollie wrote a song about the experienceâa quintessential emo narrative. Decades later, he revisited the track, producing it in low-fi with subtle rock guitar elements, and released it as âThe Sun Will Bring the Day Again.âThe title, which does not appear in the lyrics, reflects a sentiment of optimism, as Ollie explains, âI couldnât bring myself to make it that sad⊠I thought it would be nice to have at least the title be optimistic.â The song, a reflection on the loss of his first true love, captures a raw, universal theme.âThe Sun Will Bring the Day Againâ is, in Ollieâs words, âabout acceptance.â He elaborates, âI had a crush on her since I was 14. Drummer and songwriter JustHutch never set out to launch a career as a recording artistâit simply happened. Her debut album, Maze, features nine tracks that span hip-hop, rap, and various other genres. With a conversational and melodic rap style, she also incorporates her vocal talents, blending rap with singing. Some tracks even include actual conversations, further adding to the album's unique charm.The album's melodies are diverse, ranging from blues and hip-hop to orchestral and funk influences. As a drummer, Hutch brings a distinctive flavor to the beats, which she creates herself as part of her wider musical portfolio. âItâs kind of all over,â she explains, reflecting on her genre-bending approach. âBut thatâs just the thing. Itâs cool to play in different genres and showcase different things.âThematically, Maze delves into Hutchâs personal experiences, particularly her toxic relationships. "A lot of those songs were in the vault, and I just wanted to push them out," she reveals. "I wasnât going to do anything with those songs, but then I thought, I might as well put them out and see where it goes.âThe album opens with "Drums Intro," which holds special significance for Hutch, as it marks the moment her musical journey as an artist began. The track was created spontaneously in a friend's studio. "We were just jamming," she recalls, "I didnât even know it was being recorded. I was just having fun with it." After the session, her friend encouraged her to pursue music, and Hutch realized she had something special.Although sheâs primarily known for her drumming, Hutch has performed with bands, including at LA's Peppermint Club, a venue where Justin Bieber has performed. She also runs Icebox Studios LLC, where she produces and creates her own beats. Despite her extensive background in music, venturing into artist work and songwriting is a new endeavor for her. âThis is new to me,â she admits. âI didnât even know I had the potential."Maze is a reflection of her exploration into new artistic territory. The album's varied sounds, unexpected transitions, and eclectic use of instruments, such as the haunting flute in âDrill,â make it a dynamic listening experience. Hutch is also working on other projects and hints that her next album will explore more R&B influences. "Sometimes itâs rap, sometimes itâs R&B, sometimes itâs hip-hop," she shares. âArtistically, I can play guitar, I can play drums, I can produce anything that comes my way. Iâm just going to keep doing this and see how much better I can get.âMaze marks the beginning of JustHutch's exciting journey as an artist, and sheâs eager to continue experimenting and perfecting her craft.

âWe Were Golden,â written and recorded this year, is classic, as-good-as-it-gets 1960s California beach rock. It is many other things, also, including a yet-to-be golden oldie.
It is oldie gold alright, but melted down, re-refined and crafted into something brand new. Mike Mahoney, a California native, lived that time and, with his co-writer and producer David Blackburn, wrote it into the song.
The track was released under Mikeâs band name, Mikeyâs In The Mustang.
âI wanted to write a tribute song to Brian Wilson for all the inspiration gave us,â he said. âNot so much the cars and the surf songs but for the romanticism of being young â the true âCalifornia Sound.ââ But that wasnât actually the start. Back in the day, before the Army, before he went to Vietnam, he played in a group and wrote songs. Fifty-five years later, age 75, after success as an entrepreneur and real estate developer, he returned to his music.
âSome of my family and an old friend suggested to me that I record some of the songs I wrote back then. I never got to record them, and it was a lifelong dream to go into the studio and see what could happen. So, that is what led to the release of my album On The Road.â
It was to be a vanity album, one and done.
âBut then, I thought as a final project I would write a tribute song to Brian. His music has been a soundtrack for my life.â
For youngsters, that would be Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, back when rock was not yet even a teenager.
âIt was several months of us reworking it and trying to make it tell a story, to make sense. My concept was to do it in a sort of âGood Vibrationsâ fashion, with three movements.â
First movement, the place â told in surf, sand and highway rock:
We were golden, in endless summer sandWe were golden, we thought we had it plannedSunset Stripâs alive at night, the Byrds are on the stageSpringfieldâs in the canyon â man, theyâre all the rage
Second movement, the soft, slow, romantic middle â nighttime on the beach:
On that summer night, with your tender touch and kissI am falling in loveâŠwith you.
Finally, âthe reprise,â he calls it â the music back on the road, barreling down the highway, but this time the vibe is the time, the era:
Canât we just stay free and young, playing our guitars?âCuz at the battle of the bands tonight, weâre taking off for Mars
The YouTube video tells the story visually.
The tribute extends to the instrumentation. He wanted â60s-period instruments to produce â60s-period sound.
âOne of the problems nowadays is itâs recorded digitally, and digital doesnât let you get some of the sounds that you could get if you were doing it reel-to-reel like in 1967. So, what we used were all vintage instruments.â
Working with David as arranger and musician as well as co-writer and producer, the song became a reality. âIâm the lyricist and the concept guy who started this project, but I decided not to sing on it because it wasnât going to come out the way I wanted.â
What he wanted was authenticity, which is why he recruited as vocalists the Croome brothers, Patch and Liam, from their band, Daring Greatly.
âI wanted younger voices who are brothers to get the harmony that only siblings can do, like the Wilson brothers did back then,â said Mike.
He said that people who previewed the song told him it sounded like a â1967 hit that never got released.â
âThat encouraged us to create a video and a Netflix-series type script, and that led to a soundtrack album to go along with the script.â
âWe Were Goldenâ has evolved from tribute song to story to a full-blown project involving not only music but television â a streaming series or movie telling the story of âa group of college kids in 1967 who also were in a band,â to quote the elevator pitch for the script.
The key parts of the story are the band members, the innocence of their lives in Orange County in the â60s, and the effect of the Vietnam War on them and their generation. The storyline moves to 2017 when the band reunites for âone of the concerts that they never got to do â a true homecoming.â
A Mikeyâs In The Mustang concert will be filmed this spring.
Mikeyâs In The Mustang is on a roll. They are not trying to turn back some cosmic clock. They are bringing something precious from that time into this one.

About Gaby Casadesus Born Gabrielle l'HĂŽte, she studied at the Paris Conservatory with Louis DiĂ©mer and Marguerite Long and was awarded the first prize in piano at age 16. She met Claude Debussy at this time, as he was the judge for one of her competitions. Gaby later won the Prix PagĂšs, which was the most prestigious award in France at the time for which women were eligible. In 1921, she married the pianist Robert Casadesus and with him formed the Robert and Gaby Casadesus duo. The duo made many recordings of the four-hand piano repertoire. However, Gaby was also a significant soloist. She knew Maurice Ravel, Gabriel FaurĂ©, Florent Schmitt and Moritz Moszkowski, and her interpretations were aided by their guidance. Her repertoire also included Felix Mendelssohn, whose music she effectively championed, and the keyboard composers of the Baroque era. As a teacher, Gaby Casadesus taught in the US, at the Salzburg Mozarteum, at the AcadĂ©mie Maurice Ravel in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and most notably at the American Conservatoire at Fontainebleau. Among her notable pupils are Donna Amato, David Deveau, Rudy Toth, and Vladimir ValjareviÄ. After her husband's death in 1972, she worked with Grant Johannesen and Odette ValabrĂšgue Wurtzburger, to found the Robert Casadesus International Piano Competition which ran from 1975 to 1993. Casadesus Rawson Daughter of the late French pianists Robert and Gaby Casadesus, Therese Casadesus Rawson received a Ph.D. in French language and literature from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977. She has taught French, Humanities, French Diction and French vocal repertoire to singers at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia for nearly 30 years. Besides teaching and performingâshe is a soprano focusing on Bach and French repertoire--Therese Casadesus Rawson is also active as a lecturer in a variety of topics pertaining to French culture, music, literature, painting, culinary arts. She has been and continues to be involved with French or Franco-American cultural institutions. She was President of the Alliance Française de Philadelphie for nearly 10 years, and has been President of the Fontainebleau Associations for 25 years: the stateside support group which helps organize and finance the summer Music and Fine Arts program at the ChĂąteau de Fontainebleau. Thereseâs involvement with the Fontainebleau Schools is steeped in the legacy of her famous parents, Robert and Gaby, and her brother Jean, who were themselves devoted to the Fontainebleau Schools, teaching extensively at the Conservatoire AmĂ©ricain (the music side of the program). Rose Prince is an artist who thrives on the emotional authenticity of his music. And,
through his own emotional authenticity, he hopes to find relatability with his listeners.
His new single âFreakâ is one that compiles a series of late night adventures he's had in
his life. He hopes it reminds people of their own exciting nights out.
âIâm picking up diamonds and curating certain experiences from my life. I want to say it's
like a dark dreamâŠsomewhere between fantasy and reality. Itâs not like my life is like
this every dayâŠbut I wrote this song because Iâve been there.â
Written over the course of years, âFreakâ is a song Rose Prince hopes people queue up
in their pre-game moments, add to their *spicy* playlist, or blast through bass-boosting
car speakers on the way to the afterparty. As a songwriter who always writes with
intentionality, he wants the lyrics of the song to resonate with people. He also wants the
song to give people confidence in their âcarpe diemâ moments. Through the songâs
entrancing production, heavy bass and overall mystical sound, the dreamlike state Rose
was going for is strong throughout the entirety of the track.
âWhen people hear this, I want them to be like âOh wow, this is hard.â I want them to feel
that way about the beat and the lyrics.âRose Prince is an artist that doesnât only create or listen to music but absorbs it. Whenlistening to his favorite artists, lyrics and production stand out to him clearly. He admiresartists like The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky and Metro Boomin, who are all known for

âI write the music I want to hear.â The song âFreakâ is a track whose lyrics paint specific pictures in the listener's mind. They take the person hearing Rose Princeâs words to the moment he was in and the mindstate during those events.
âThereâs no limit to what you can write. Lyrics are pure emotion turned into words and
you take that emotion and build whatever you want with it.â

envisions melodies and sounds in his own head and works with producers to bring the
full concept to life. Sometimes, the producer brings something different than what he

Mercedes Arturo is a multidisciplinary artist from Argentina, currently based in Los Angeles. Born in Patagonia, she has lived in Argentina, Chile, Spain, Germany, and Switzerland.
Her artistic journey began in theater, specializing in wardrobe and stage design. She worked on around 20 plays in Buenos Airesâs off circuit and the San Martin National Theater. She also designed the wardrobe for Disney's "Topa in Junior Express," touring across Latin America.
Arturo studied Film Direction at ENERC in Buenos Aires and has written and directed short films, music videos, and VR experiences showcased at festivals like Sundance, Tribeca, and Venice. In 2024, she participated in the Rising Voices Programme, creating the short film "Back Home," which premiered at Tribeca.
Her films "Traviata" and "First Tale" are part of the Cine.Ar catalog, with "First Tale" also available on Thirteen.org (PBS). "Traviata" has won multiple awards and represented Argentina at international events.
Her visual works, including sculptures and installations, have been exhibited at venues like the National Academy of Fine Arts in New York and Frieze Art Fair LA. Themes of secrets, confinement, and life as a foreigner are central to her work.
