  • Episode 21 welcomes an old fitness industry friend of Meisha's, Jordan Bath.


    Jordan is 29 and the co-owner of BodyByJR which offers coaching and training in their gym and online.


    During her competitive fitness journey as a bikini athlete, she lost her periods but really wanted to have children after getting married to Ray, her partner of 10 years. She went on a tough amenorrhea recovery journey and had 2 miscarriages along the way but now has 2 children; Melia who's 3 and Jude who's 10 months.


    Meisha and Jordan discuss the highs and lows it took for Jordan to become a mummy, including what had to be done for her to get her menstrual cycle back. Right up to the current day and how the journey has got her to a place of genuine contentment and the fittest she's ever been!

  • Episode 18 welcomes Rhian Pearson; CrossFitter, entrepreneur and mum to 3. A truly inspirational woman who successfully juggles so many time consuming interests and jobs!


    Rhi is a mum of three: Jessica 13, Harriet 11 and Finn 4 and works full time as Head of European Sales / Meteorology at Atmospheric G2. She also owns two businesses: HaloFitness a fitness clothing brand and Fit Kidz Training selling fitness toys for kids!

    She started CrossFit 6 months after having Jess 13 years ago and trained throughout her pregnancies with both Harriet and Finn. She did her PT and Pregnancy and postpartum athlete qualification when on maternity leave with Finn so she could help understand her safe return to fitness and help advise others.


    Meisha and Rhi discuss her training journey throughout her pregnancies and how it lead her to educate herself to support her passion and advise others along the way.

  • Joining Meisha to share her traumatic story is Samantha Brown (@samanthalouisebrown_).


    Sam started CrossFit when she met her partner Zack around 4 years ago after getting injured as a track athlete; she did this for 12 years and competed in 400m hurdles.

    They decided they were going to try for a baby at the beginning of this year but found out they were pregnant in November last year and unfortunately, miscarried. It took around 5 months for her to have a complete miscarriage. Sam shares the details of her experience from start to finish.


    Sam is now a happy and healthy 27 weeks pregnant and also talks about her pregnancy experiences, opinions and training from the beginning to now to post pregnancy wishes.

    Natalie is a registered and accredited Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition (ANutri), Nutritional Consultant and Nutritional Research Scientist (RSci) with a wealth of experience working on a range of research projects within nutritional biochemistry and human physiology, nutritional intervention, and nutritional education for UK and Welsh government funded research projects.

    Outside of industry and academia Natalie puts her nutritional and exercise knowledge into practice as a fitness enthusiast, competitive bodybuilder, volunteer nutritionist for UK youth athletics and has a 15 year old daughter.


    Meisha and Natalie discuss the change in advice and advance in research over the years and what the current recommendations for adapting nutrition in pregnancy are.

    Melissa is an ex British Army Corporal and ex IFBB pro athlete who competed for 8 years but retired to have her little boy Jack who is now nearly 3 years old. She’s an online health and fitness coach who helps struggling mums who feel overwhelmed and like they don’t have time to themselves create a structure and routine that helps them look and feel incredible.

    A history of cervical cancer meant that Mel's pregnancy was high risk and significantly changed her pregnancy training ambition; Meisha finds out what this meant for the fitness enthusiast and how she adapted through pregnancy and beyond.

    Emma who has been involved with fitness her whole life was an elite gymnast from 7-16 years old. She was a bodybuilder for 9 years and competed professionally as an IFBB Pro for 4 of those years and competed at 2 Olympias. She then retired 3 years ago when her interests turned to CrossFit and training for enjoyment. She now works in accounts and has a beautiful 4 month baby girl called Octavia.
