Guests Alan Feigenbaum and Ariella Steinhorn talk to us about their Non-Linear Love project. They talk about reframing the way we think about dating, romance, break-ups, divorce and love. In modern times relationships are judged on their path to, and relativity to marriage. But Al and Ari are working on changing those views. Instead, they will collect and tell people’s unique relationship stories, and maybe reframe the way we all think about dating, romance, break-ups, divorce and love. Perhaps, if we view love through a nonlinear lens, we can find a way to encourage a reduction in conflict as our paths to the next chapter begin. If we can make peace, not war, with the simple fact that so many of our relationships have a natural shelf life, the possibilities could be limitless.

This episode is Dating Daze Book Club. We discuss the book "Marry Him: The Case for Settling for Mr Good Enough". But it's really not about "settling" it's about being realistic about your expectations, and being honest about who you are and what you bring to a relationship, as well as acknowledging that your Mr. Perfect doesn't exist and if he did he's probably already married, and wouldn't even make a good husband/father/partner that would bring you happiness in a relationship. Our guest is part of the Book Club: Melissa Botten. Divorced farmer and nurse from Oregon. Melissa runs Seva Fresh Farm. They make and sell all kinds of good handmade penis and ball soaps, honey, and other great products.

The term "dating roster" is really just a list of people you're communicating with and potentially dating. But it can get confusing and maybe if you don't pay attention you'll miss meeting your true love. Thankfully there's an app for that: CLARA. Spanish for "clear", CLARA provides a platform to keep track of your roster. But more importantly, it helps you decide who is the best fit for you in a relationship. We talk to the CLARA originator and number one user of the app, Jillian Romero Chaves.

Jeff has a bad date experience and wants to talk about it. He tells Mindy it's a Chairlift Confession which typically is a really bad date story spanning states or potentially bodily harm and jail...but alas Jeff is just dazed and confused once again by dating in the current times. Which is why he started the podcast. His date with a local comedian was doomed from the start and then the comedian disses him and is basicallly disrespectful and callous. Jeff is hurt. So hear the tale and at least commiserate and get some thoughts on being nice in the world or dating.
