The period of early childhood is the period of rapid growth, exploration and unfortunately low immunity due to immaturity of the immune system. These children are often attacked by a myriad of viruses and bacteria with diseases such as rashes, sore throats and the sniffles. Majority of these infections are overcome by the child’s immune system though some may require specific treatments.
