If you follow me on Instagram, then you probably saw that in December, my husband and I went on a safari in Africa in lieu of having a wedding!
Fun fact: ever since I was a kid, I said I would NOT have a wedding. It just felt, well, boring to me! Instead, I wanted to go on a safari.
Fast forward to when I found myself engaged, there I was, trying to plan a wedding.
We were talking dates, calling venues, working on guest lists. And then suddenly, it hit us⊠why the heck are we doing this when we could be doing a safari instead?!So thatâs what we did!

Tell me something⊠how many times have you bought ingredients for a recipe you were going to make only to throw them away later because you NEVER use them? đââïž
Now, one of the questions I get asked frequently is, âJazzy, what ingredients should I keep in my kitchen?â And let me tell you, Iâm all about simplification (so you donât buy a ton of ingredients you never use!).
I donât believe in having to use a ton of complicated ingredients to make delicious recipes. In fact, Your Dinner is Planned is all about getting healthy meals on the table without the hassle and overwhelm!
So naturally, I only have a few signature ingredients that I make sure to keep in my kitchen, and Iâm sharing them with you on the Dinner Table Talk Podcast!

Happy New Year! Can you believe itâs 2019 already?!
Given itâs January 1st, youâre likely thinking all about those New Yearâs resolutions youâve set for the year, right?
But hereâs the dealio, my friend: New Yearâs resolutions are bullcrap.
Hold on! Donât leave yet!
Iâm all about setting goals â especially at the beginning of a new year. Iâve set resolutions too.
Itâs not the goal setting thatâs baloney⊠itâs when we set goals that we wonât actually stick to, just for the sake of setting goals.
How many times have you set a New Yearâs resolution and then, 90 days later, youâre thinking, âOops⊠guess I didnât hit that goalâ?
Iâm here to make sure you donât do that in 2019.
On todayâs episode of the Dinner Table Talk podcast, Iâm coming at you with a planning exercise to make sure you set New Yearâs resolutions that are actionable, attainable, and something youâll actually stick to this year!
