Galatians 5:1 says, āIt is for freedom that Christ has set us freeā and this is Godās will and great desire for His peopleā¦to live in freedom!
But, when you are living in trauma, itās a very real and present pain that can wreak havoc on your life and pull you into bitterness and unforgiveness, which perpetually steals our joy. But thank God, He has given us keys to get it back!
Furthermore, Hosea 2:17 promises Godās people that even in seasons of great pain and deepest valleys of loss, He desires to give us back our joy and to open up for us a door of hope where we can experience His forgiveness and the benefits of covenant love, in real-time, for ourselves and for others.

We must understand that sometimes it can be the work of the Lord in our lives when we are experiencing:
š«Rejection from something we thought was ours, but God is saying otherwise.
š«God allowing us to be in a position where we feel rejected.
š«Outright rejection from people around us or within our community.
If you find yourself in these positions, then the Lord has something better for you. In fact, God could be right in the midst of your rejection and the benefits on the other side can be remarkable when you choose to trust Him and to walk through it with love and honor in your heart.

The 4-part Transformation discipleship path is based on four principles- identity, alignment, empowerment., and assignment.
Our lives are not based on what we do, but upon who we are in Christ. This is our identity.
The impact of that overflow causes us to be able to align with Godās Kingdom and leverage our time and money for His purposes. This is our alignment.
One of the great rewards on this journey is that Godās authority and power begin to flow in our lives as we are changed and become faithful stewards of what Heās given us. This is empowerment, the third step in our transformation process.
Empowerment is knowing that Godās presence and the wisdom of Holy Spirit goes with you everywhere you go and that the Lord has chosen to validate you as a minster of the Kingdom:

This is the power and authority of Godās Ekklesia revealed in the earth, with the validation of Jesusā manifest presence and unusual miracles.

After you become established in your identity within the 4-part Transformation discipleship path, alignment becomes a most important concept.

You see, if we donāt know who we are, weāll strive to āshore upā our identity throughā

None of these are ābadā in an of themselvesā but they canāt tell us who we are.
So, rather than living from the āoutside-inā and trying to let the externals validate us, we must live from the āinside-outā by allowing the Father to tell us who we areā and allowing the witness of the Holy Spirit to confirm it.

Tabernacles reminds us that God is near.
John writes, āThe word become flash and dweltā literally, tabernacledā among usā (John 1:14).

The Day of Atonement is a reminder of sin and sacrificeā¦
ā¦ in the most glorious and awe-inspiring way.
This day highlights the truth that we donāt approach God based on our effortā and what we can give (sacrifice), we approach Him based on covenantā of His radical acceptance of us and what Christ has achieved by His blood.
Now, we sacrificeā yet as living sacrifices (see Romans 12:1-2).
Moreover, we donāt sacrifice to āreceiveā something or āachieveā something, we give as an overflow of a people whoāve been accepted by God, going to remind others that grace āwinsā and that theyāve been accepted, too.
We become the Ecclesia, taking the message of reconciliation wherever we goā¦

Weāre moving into a new yearā¦ which means a new season of interacting with the Lord. This is a great time to āreturn to your absolute source,ā that is, to lean into the Lord.
In night sky, youāll see the scales (Libra) reminding us of judgmentā and the Day of Atonement. We get to celebrate the New Covenant anew, reminding us of the complete wholeness we have in Christ.
In the Hebrew mind, as well, this is the season when the Lord either returns OR He sets us up to live another year before Him, enjoying His kingdom here on earth.

The month of Elul is the month in which āthe king is in the field.ā That is, God comes near to usā¦
This is the season in which He wants to be involved in your business, in your home, in each area of your life. And, weāre reminded thatā rather than us alone seeking Himā God is the true Seeker who is available to us.
Moreover, He brings mercy and grace when He comes, extended the very nature of Himself.
By the way, the word Elul in Hebrew is an acrostic, which states āI am belovedās and He is mineāā and echo of Song of Songs 6:3.

Av is the month the Hebrew children made one of the worst decisions of their livesā this is the month the Children of Israel were originally intended to enter the Promised Land.
However, they looked at circumstances instead of their Savior and Redeemer. Thus, they wandered in the wilderness of 40 years.
The Lion of Judah would have roared for them!
(Look in the night sky, and youāll see Leo in the night sky, as a reminder of this prophetic season.)
This is a month to mix the promises of God with faith and receiveā the Lion still roars (Amos 3:8). And, to intentionally align ourselves with God.
So, itās a time to seek the Lord with new decisions that we make.

When we look in the sky this month we see the crabā which brings about a two-fold vision to either:
š¦ guard your heart, OR
š¦ develop a hard outer shell
This is the month to take a look at who you areā and see Godās plans and purposes for you. We want to give Him the opportunity to speak into our livesā¦ā¦ and, make adjustments as we move forward.
When a rocket takes off, it immediately veers off-courseā by about 1%. It must constantly align and re-align towards its target.
This, is what we should do as well, constantly leaning into the blessings and promises of God as we walk out His plans for our lives.

There are three feasts in the Bible, ordained by Godā¦
ā¦ each of which link together.
#1 = Passover is the time God provided the lamb and freed the Children of Israel from Egypt.This is a time when we celebrate Godās power. At this feast, we celebrate that God delivered the Children of Israel from slavery in Egypt after the sacrifice of the Passover Lambā and He delivers us from sin because of the incredible work of Jesus. He cleanses us, as well, making us completely righteous. This celebration begins the Biblical calendar.
#2 = Pentecost occurs 50 days later, and is the time He gave His Word at Mount Sinai.
This is a time when we celebrate Godās provision. At this feast, we celebrate that God delivered the Hebrew people and then provided lavishly for them, even in the desert. He provided them with His Word at Mount Sinaiā and pours forth His Holy Spirit even now.
#3 = Tabernacles occurs a few months later...
This is a time when we celebrate Godās presence. During Tabernacles, Jews makeā and live inā temporary shelters (tents) in order to commemorate that their ancestors lived in temporary shelters when they left Egypt on their way to the Promised Land (see Leviticus 23:42-43). They also celebrate that God had a Tabernacleā a massive tentā built so that He could live among them (Exodus 25:8-9). Today, we celebrate that āthe Word became flesh and dwelt [tabernacled] among usā (John 1:14). This festival commemorates that even today we journey in a land that is not our home (remember, weāre citizens of Heaven!), yet God is with us!

By the way, not all of the feasts have yet culminated! The word āfeastā is better translated as ārehearsal,ā as they all anticipated a future event of incredible magnitude, all relating to Jesus (as Colossians 3:17 says above).
#1 = Passover
āļø Rehearsal = The first Passover involved the passover lambs and freedom from slavery.
ā Fulfillment = Jesus fulfilled Passover when He died on the Cross, setting us free from sin!
#2 = Pentecost
āļø Rehearsal = The first Pentecost involved the giving of the Law, a tutor so that people might know how to live in relationship with God (see Galatians 3:24-25).
ā Fulfillment = Now, the Spirit (which Jesus promised) is here and teaches usā the Spirit which was given at Pentecost!
#3 = Tabernacles
āļø Rehearsal = The first Tabernacles is likely when āthe Word became flesh and [tabernacled] among usā (John 1:14).
ā Fulfillment = Will Jesus return during Tabernacles, during the time when the trumpets are blown?
In the same way you see Godās story threaded through each month, you see the complete story of redemption unfolding in the feasts!
