On today’s news episode: Kevin McCarthy, House Speaker, has announced an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. Plus, Bitcoin breaks a slump, with a move above US $26,000 per coin — possibly on news that PayPal is launching a helpful “off ramps” feature that lets Bitcoin users deposit their crypto, convert it to a PayPal balance, and then immediately (for a fee) cash out to a linked bank account.
PayPal Bitcoin “off ramps” feature launches, according to user reports on Twitter and other social media.
PayPal’s helpful new feature comes as some in Washington are attempting to make it more difficult to use traditional banking features as a crypto user.

On today’s episode: scary new tools to suppress free speech further. This country’s just a regime nowadays — run by a handful of elderly Epstein Island-ites born into their money. Super pathetic. Best to tune these people out, and oppose them whenever you can’t do that.
“Disinformation” now “neutralized” by a government funded AI. What could go wrong?
-
On today’s episode: The SEC has delayed its decision on a proposed BlackRock spot Bitcoin ETF product until the October deadline now, according to reports earlier this evening. Plus other news on FULCRUM’s radar.

Let’s never forget this sad chapter. Hawaii is a US state and the people there deserve way better than this mainland predation from some of America’s wealthiest and most politically connected families.

An interesting historical rabbit hole is explored on today’s episode.
What happened to Vlad’s family members? Where’d they go the last 546 years? Did they hand down their “secrets” to newer generations?
$10 from each of you ensures a non-stop remaining year of updates on the pizza man, his associates, and everything else FULCRUM feels like exposing all over again about these frail old dregs.

Despite a recent drop, Bitcoin is technologically anti-fragile: pictured above, the Blockstream geosynchronous satellite array, which allows Bitcoin users to send and receive Bitcoin with a signal direct to one of the satellites — even if regular Internet access were to disappear temporarily.

John Podesta — unofficially America’s adrenochrome Rasputin — is now advising Biden on “combating inflation.”
Senior advisor John Podesta gives a White House press conference August 16, 2023 on the Inflation Reduction Act and related policy.
Will combating inflation require silencing your critics, and attacking Bitcoin? Lol. These DC boomers are paint by numbers predictable. Just old windbags who inherited their money. They could have studied up on Bitcoin, but their arrogance and pre-occupation with things like Epstein Island and the “pizza torture chamber” (what is that anyway, John?) prevented them from a proper deep dive and re-focus on the next century’s needs.
Elites, caught in the past, with no way forward, and no clear pivot into modernity.
Podesta kept some strange company, as the emails revealed in 2016.

Correction: We botched this one. Looks like Luna 25 experienced a technical difficulty and failed to reach the lunar surface intact.
On today’s episode, the Russian uncrewed space probe Luna-25 has successfully descended toward the lunar surface, and also in science news some exciting — yet confusing — data emerged from India, where a laboratory replicated the LK-99 sample described a couple weeks prior by scientists at a conference in Seoul, South Korea.
Luna-25 successfully landed on the Moon on August 11th, 2023.

On today’s quick news-packed episode: Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to federal charges stemming from his promotion of the “J6” violent protests. Plus, nearly a week after the Internet erupted with excitement over LK-99 possible room temperature superconductor discovery claims, The New York Times is finally covering the discovery in earnest, and published one of the scientist’s videos of a levitating LK-99 sample.

In this week’s FULCRUM News round-up, what a whirlwind of a summer we find ourselves in: first, scientists in South Korea published a paper detailing what purports to be the world’s first known room temperature, ambient pressure superconductor — which would obviously change everything… if it’s real. Other labs are working to replicate at the moment. Plus, a week of detailed UFO whistleblower testimony in Congress has blown a number of minds in the online punditry world, and dystopian layer-2 alt cryptocurrency Worldcoin has a creepy way of gaining new users.

Few have been as consistent or vindicated as FULCRUM News in the podcast community when it comes to our belief in the importance of Bitcoin, and blockchain technology. The recent BlackRock news was dissected on some prior recent episodes of the show, so be sure to go back and listen if you have not yet!
Boring, censorious multinationals like Spotify ruined what podcasting used to be about. The real issues of our day are now better explored on platforms like TikTok and Twitter — podcasters have become averse to risk, and that means they avoid too many juicy stories and scandals, offloading that traffic to more adventurous platforms and networks.

Flodesk is the worst email host / newsletter publishing service on the Internet. The treatment we have received over the last 24 hours is frankly wild. Details on today’s episode.
This sort of blatant discrimination against people who invest in Bitcoin or talk about Bitcoin would be acceptable (with some) in say, 2014 or 2015 — in mid-2023, it’s hilariously tone deaf, and just not really on the right page. Larry Fink’s words about Bitcoin are the biggest tech news story of the week. To not report on it would be an abdication of our journalistic responsibility to our viewers, subscribers, and listeners.
Shame on Flodesk. If any consumer rights lawyers are fans of FULCRUM, we are interested in hearing from you. We’d like to explore our options. https://fulcrumnews.com/contact
