In our third episode, Hawa and Hawanatu of Sierra Leone discuss their experiences and the barriers they faced pursuing a path in STEM. Like so many places in the world, it is still mainstream for boys and men to be the only ones in tech in Sierra Leone. Hawa and Hawanatu are here to change that. Hawanatu is a web and app developer at the Orange Digital Center, where she is refining her skills and working on her own digital solutions. Hawa has co-founded the Kamara Yokie Innovation Center, where she brings youth together to learn about robotics, technology, 3D design, and so much more.
