This week: Mitch and Missy sat down with the co-founders of a new organization called Christian Athletes Circles — Reverend Kelsey Davis and Georgette McKee — to talk about their work in the world of sports.
Rev. Kelsey Davis has the heart of a chaplain, teacher, organizer, and coach. She is a former professional soccer player, and her athletic career was shaped by U.S. Youth National Teams as a goalkeeper at every youth national team level, including as a member of the 2004 U-19 FIFA World Cup and 2006 U-20 FIFA World Cup teams, and was grateful to be called into one camp with the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2009.
Georgia McKee is a Baptist minister, writer, and former NCAA Division I athlete passionate about the intersection of faith, athletics, and justice. A 2021 graduate of Belmont University, she played softball while earning a B.A. in Faith & Social Justice, exploring the unique intersections of sports, public life, and theology. She later earned her Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity, where she was a Wait Fellow and president of the Student Leadership Council.
