Abi wishes her apples weren't wrapped in plastic but eats them anyway and Laura's loosely "flexitarian". Both are confused about which recycling bin is for what and if they as individuals have any power over the environmental crisis. What is fast fashion? Are we actually eating our clothes? And why is Abi weeping about global warming? Should we all just deny responsibility and blame it on the Kardashians? Or could we possibly help our planet and look fabulous all at the same time?
This week Laura and Abi are joined by Friends of the Earth Campainer Muna Suleiman. Muna's recent media work includes BBC Radio 5 Live’s Twenty's Takeover and Channel 5 News’ week long special on the environment. For more information about Friends of the Earth visit www.friendsoftheearth.uk

Pregnancy and parenting can be a terrifying and overwhelming prospect. Join Laura and Abi as they discover the statistics about how many new parents are struggling with their mental health, what to do if you yourself are struggling and laugh along with them as they reveal the slightly ridiculous things they fear about childbirth and parenting.
Their interview this week is with Anna Ceesay, a mother of two, former BBC journalist and Founder of Motherdom- The UK's first maternal mental health and wellbeing magazine.
This one's a little bit "sweary", potentially triggering and admittedly they do start off by getting carried away with "poo talk" but the message is clear... it's okay not to be the perfect parent and you are certainly not alone if you're feeling low. If you're struggling with your mental health please contact your gp. If your gp's about as welcoming as a teething toddler you can do as Anna did and contact The Panda's Foundation by calling: 0843 28 98 401. And for those of you who hate making calls you can also email them on: [email protected]

Meet Gary Andrews: Ex-Disney illustrator and cartoonist, director of Fireman Sam and dad of two. Gary lost his wife very suddenly to sepsis in 2017. Suddenly widowed, Gary did what he does best and channelled his grief into his drawings. Every day Gary drew a doodle to express how he was feeling and shared it with his friends on Twitter. Gary went viral. When Laura and Abi saw Gary on The One Show his story resonated so strongly that they reached out to him to come on for a chat about how to deal with unspeakable loss. This is that chat. An ordinary man with an extraordinary talent and a passion for keeping his wife Joy's memory alive. They discuss coping with grief, how to manage unspeakable loss and the importance of open communication as a parent.
"Underneath it all we’re basically human beings and grief is a universal thing and it’s the one thing that is certain when we enter this world... we’re going to leave it and most of us are going to have to deal with it at some point."-Gary Andrews

Inspired by the iconic self-help book "Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus" Laura and Abi conduct a light-hearted, highly unscientific study to discover whether men and women really are from totally different planets. More of an interrogation than an interview they ask "A Dave" and "A Craig" all the questions their listeners wanted answers to, including: "Why do men ghost women?", "Do all vaginas feel the same?" and "Do you ever look at your naked self in the mirror and feel bitterly disappointed?"
Sensitive Dave is a happy-go-lucky chappie with a positive outlook on life and a passion for Nordic beards and Craig's a big, bald miserable b*stard with a scar down the side of his head who flatly refuses to cry at anything other than death. Collectively they're the most seemingly normal men Laura and Abi could find. Join them as they discuss the definition of feminism, misandry and why men cannot ask for directions.

“Having my leg amputated was possibly the best decision I ever made” We beg your pardon?!
Every now and again we're forced to make life changing choices and risk the chance of later regretting our decisions. But what is life without risk? How do we avoid regret? And how do we turn a bleak situation into something we can belly laugh about? Introducing Colin Leggo, UK Pun Champion 2019… although this podcast isn’t that "punny". Colin is a standup comedian and drama teacher who uses his experience as an amputee to, as Abi calls it “make a profit”. Rumour has it, he charges an arm and a leg.

Cancer is something that happens to other people, until it happens to you or someone you love. With a dramatic rise in cancer diagnoses it’s natural to question whether there’s anything at all we can be doing to prevent it. Is a cancer diagnosis simply just bad luck? Is a cardboard coloured poo really the dream? And does Laura’s “Hindu” neck tattoo really say she’s a tw*t?
Today’s guest is cancer confidence coach Sophie Trew, Sophie was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma at the age of 23. This was her wake-up call. Join Laura and Abi as they discover how Sophie’s cancer diagnosis changed her life, what we can consider doing to optimise our health and how Sophie came to be the founder of Trew Fields, the first holistic health and cancer awareness festival in the world. In 2018 Sophie won an award for being a Remarkable Person for outstanding contribution to the cancer community making her an extraordinarily ordinary person.
*****Today’s podcast comes with lots of opinions, none of which should be taken as medical advice because Laura, Abi and Sophie aren’t doctors. Listen to your doctor and not just your gut and perhaps skip this one if you’re a “Sensitive Sally”*****
