Mia is a passionate horsewoman who has dedicated her life to learning all she can about horses, their behaviour, psychology and how this affects training them. She has spent a great deal of time with some of the best horsemen and women in the world and continues to advance both her riding and horsemanship. Mia specializes in liberty and believes you must have your horses mind in order to get the best out of them physically. She believes a solid foundation allows the horse to go on and specialize in any discipline with confidence. Day to day Mia spends her time teaching, starting young horses, ‘problem’ solving, and training her own team of performance horses.

Freddy Steele is an International Trick Rider and Horse Trainer. He has a true passion for communicating with horses and studied horse behaviour and many different training methods from all over the world. Freddie travels all over the world, competing and training in both natural horsemanship practices as well as Trick Riding and Horseback Archery.

Rachael Barnett is known by most as Ray and is a well known influencer under the name of @Raythegoth on IG. Rachael's ultimate aim is to just have fun and to show others that if you put your mind to it you can definitely achieve your goals. Rachael is an advocate for body positivity within the equestrian community and she strives to make people laugh and smile! Her horse Pepper (show name The Coblet of fire) is her 12 year old dark bay mare and all round super cob. Together they have competed in dressage, showing and show jumping but they dabble in a bit of everything, they've even tried horseback archery and sidesaddle! Join us to hear all about her adventures, how she overcomes negativity and what you too can do to follow your dreams.

Poppy has been riding since the age of two and has since then gone on to compete and train in various fields, including dressage, working equitation and show jumping. However, her favourite ‘discipline’ is working with and starting young horses. Poppy is also an advocate for strength and condition to improve your riding and, whilst horseless at uni, this led her into competitive powerlifting on an international stage. Space & science has always been something that captured poppy from a young age. Despite dropping out during her A-levels to go and train dressage in Portugal, poppy found her way back into education and is now set on becoming an astronaut!

Bex Hayward is the creator and owner of The Wide Boot Company which launched in late 2019. After struggling to buy attractive, quality riding boots for her muscular calves, she set about designing boots to fit those who are not catered for elsewhere. The WBC range now includes various width and height fittings and also clothing designed for curvier physiques including some competition wear. Bex believes in flattering and practical design from a rider perspective, alongside making items comfortable to wear and she is a promoter of body positivity and inclusivity. Customer feedback is paramount in her designs.

"Glorifying Busy-ness" - Amy Tickle and Jenni discuss why our society seems to see being busy and stressed as a badge of honour. What if you could be happy, successful and balanced all together? Is this even possible? We believe so and we talk about how. Amy Tickle is a yard manager, freelance trainer and is training in Equi Pilates. She has ridden ponies/horses all her life and evented. 7 years ago Amy hung up her Eventing hat and decided to concentrate on Dressage. She now has two horses - Maxie her semi retired PC pony and 7yr Kwpn Carlos, who is the first unbroken horse Amy has had.

"A Year On" - Nicky from Woodwick Farm-Equine physiotherapy and rehabilitation centre has been working with Flying Changes Mindset for over a year now and even became one of our Brand Ambassadors in 2020. We find out what working on Mindset and being part of a team of likeminded riders has done for Nicky both in and out of the saddle. Nicky is an equine physiotherapist, dressage rider, livery yard owner, mum, wife and Gigi (step granny!) Over the years Nicky has also had many other titles, yard hand, instructor, accountant, office manager and property developer. Her heart always been with the horses and now, thanks to the full support of her husband John, they have built from scratch thier own equestrian centre. They currently have horses in for rehabilitation, schooling, starting and a few permanent livery clients for are like the little Woodwick Family. Nicky is a very competitive person and has competed BS, BE and BD. She doesn't leave the ground much anymore (unless for fun) and after years of buying project horses to bring on and compete she now has her own homebred horses, competing at Advanced Medium on the eldest and Novice/Elementary on the youngster.

When you’re from a non-horsey family and all you can dream about is horses – you have to get creative! Louise has built her entire life and career around achieving her aspirations of owning horses! There have been high highs and very low lows on that journey, all of which have shaped her into who she is today. She has gone from college drop-out, to having a glittering corporate career, then from unemployed to successful entrepreneur. Louise has a wonderful husband and a 9-year-old son, and they live a happy life on their 20-acre farm in Staffordshire. And horses? Yeah, they have quite a few of those!

Trauma - the unspoken truth. With Julia Fairfax. Trauma is at the root of most issues in humans and horses. Anxiety, depression, stress, worry, etc are all side effects of unhealed trauma which in humans often dates back to childhood and in horses to invariably being handled inappropriately and moved from pillar to post. Trauma recovery is a key cornerstone of Julia’s work. You cannot manifest the life of your dreams whilst being weighed down by your past and horses cannot be free to be their true selves until core issues are addressed and healed.

Amanda Birch is a choreographer and musical arranger, working in the equestrian sector. Her passion is to perfectly match horse and rider with music that releases their inner harmony, not just for competition, but performances and training. She studied sport psychology, NLP, and the psychology of music to better understand how to uncover the hidden talent we can't always release on our own. On a trip to Portugal she met a 2 year old Lusitano called Eborio he is her dance partner, it was a connection that led to great adventures and an enduring love for the country and its horses.

Bert is a Canadian Paralympian, International Grade 3 Para-Equestrian dressage rider. She also competes in able-bodied British Dressage competitions, so far, up to Advanced Medium level and training up to Grand Prix. Bert is currently on the Equestrian Canada National Team Program. So far in her career she has competed as part of the Canadian team at the 2018 World Equestrian Games, 2016 Rio Paralympics and finished 4th Individually at the 2014 World Equestrian Games.

As a teenager, Rebekah was an elite swimmer, fitting her studies and life around training and competing but this didn’t leave room for horses! Having never grown out of being that ‘pony mad kid’, Rebekah finally realised her dream aged 27 to own her very own horse. Realising she really didn’t know anywhere near as much as she thought she did she needed to re-learn everything, and is still on that journey now. Competition has always been a part of her life and now she competes at British Eventing Novice level and is still fitting her life and work around sport! This juggling includes running her own company, overcoming all the hurdles of entrepreneurship as well as recovering from stress-related anxiety and the debilitating impact of bullying in the workplace.
