In the end the FAI and FIFA blocked the move, and Wimbledon ended up moving to Milton Keynes, later to be renamed to MK Dons. On the last day of the season in 2006, Tottenham needed a win at West Ham to secure Champions League football. They were all set to qualify until late on Saturday night when ten players became seriously ill after having dinner at their hotel. Tottenham's request to postpone the game was rejected so the match went ahead. In the first half of the 2018 World Cup Semi-Final, England were 1-0 up against Croatia courtesy of a Kieran Trippier free kick. They were in complete control of the game. In the 30th minute, Harry Kane was played through on goal by Jesse Lingard. He had Sterling to his right but he decided to take on the shot which was saved. It was a moment that came back to haunt England as Croatia won the game 2-1, breaking English hearts.
