On this special show of the Harness Players' Podcast, host Edison Hatter is joined by Thomas Svensen and Swedish TV host Julian McLaren to discuss the 14-race Sprintermästaren card that will take place this Thursday at Halmstad, Sweden. The race is known as "Sweden's Hambletonian" and is one of the major races for four-year-old trotters. Elimination heats will take place in Races 6, 7, and 8 and the final will be raced on the card as well as Race 13. Edison, Thomas, and Julian discuss the Sprintermästaren Eliminations and Final as well as Races 4, 5, and 11.

A preview of the stakes action at Yonkers Raceway on Friday (June 28) which includes the $300,000 Yonkers Trot and $225,000 Messenger Pace, the first jewel of the trotting and pacing Triple Crown respectively. Edison Hatter hosts the discussion with guests Mike Pribozie and Derick Giwner, of DRF Harness. The three also preview a major Pick 5 on the Friday card which will have a $20,000 seed and has a guarantee of $75,000.

Next up, Lindsay Czarniak drops by to discuss her roles as both a journalist and influencer, connecting racing marketing efforts to those in other sports and revelaing what she thinks are the top marketable stories in racing today that might help the sport reach a mainstream sports audience.
Last but certainly not least, Peter Rotondo Jr. of 1/st is here to give some history on the concept of using celebrities to help market horse racing including an early experiment at the ESPYs from a few years back.
