This week on Look What She Made Us Do, Sarah is joined by actor and comedian, Shannon Sheridan from Third Base Comedy! They discuss all the good and bad of being a Swiftie while reflecting on their lives with Taylor’s music. Sarah also learns a hard truth of what it means to be from Cincinnati and becomes regretful of missing so many concerts from Taylor’s past, while Shannon shares incredible stories of her experiences with the Eras Tour. They explore themes of self indulgence, embracing cringe, and ultimately, the joy that comes with being a Taylor Swift fan.

This week, Tim Zientek, from Miss Thing podcast, joins Sarah for the ultimate Swiftie episode. They discuss their journeys as Taylor fans and their special experiences at Taylor tours. From Debut to 1989, from Reputation tour to Eras tour, from sprinkler splashes to fireplace ashes, Taylor has been with these two through it all. And while they are ultimate Swfities, they also talk about the importance of being able to critique Taylor while remaining strong fans. You can hear more from Tim on his podcast, Miss Thing, where he and his co-host, Greg Trimmer, take pop culture icons and make their accomplishments all about them.

Fan favorite, Adam Miller (a.k.a. Sarah’s husband) is back for another episode of Look What She Made Us Do to discuss the new changes to the Eras Tour and his updated feelings on The Tortured Poets Department after 2 months. Sarah and Adam may not agree on all of Taylor’s songs, but they can agree on one thing, Cassandra is a skip. Taylor’s albums usually need some time to marinate, and TTPD is no exception. Listen now to hear all their hot takes!

This week, Sarah is joined by brand director and sister of the pod, Grace Franklin! Grace is in dire need of a job, so please make sure to send all job openings to [email protected]. Grace is also a 1975 fan!! And with her, she brought the Matty Healy timeline side of the situationship that rocked a nation. In this episode, Grace takes us through the history of Matty and Taylor communicating through song and music video. And while we gain so much more insight, we lose our minds even more so, I fear. Buckle up, because some of the revelations will truly shock you. Also, be prepared to spend the rest of your day or evening watching YouTube videos of the 1975 music videos and grainy TikToks on their old concerts. Enjoy!

This week’s episode of Look What She Made Us Do is a little late due to the holiday weekend, sue us!!! As you’ll hear, Sarah and Mac also have a lot going on right now with Sarah’s newfound TikTok fame. So they’re dealing with a lot. But not too much to not be able to hold a Tortured Swifites Department Meeting, where they discuss ways you, the fans, can get them to the Eras Tour… again! They discuss the new set and as per tradition, yell at everyone for not making the pod as big as Taylor. But it’s fine, because they are still basking in their love for the Tortured Poets Department. Enjoy!

This week on Look What She Made Us Do, Mac is still on paternity leave, and Sarah is joined by Emmy-nominated writer, podcaster, comedian, and most importantly, friend, Taylor Cox! Sarah and Taylor discuss how they learned to reckon with the fact that they still love Harry Potter while vehemently disagreeing morally with the creator. Oh, they also talk about Taylor Swift! They go through their Taylor Swift journeys, judge each other, then forgive each other, talk about their Eras Tour experiences, and of course, The Tortured Poets Department. Sarah also considers going on lexapro. You don’t want to miss this one!

It’s part 2 of Mac’s visit from paternity leave! Sarah and Mac dissect the lyrics of the two songs that, they feel, tell the entire story of TTPD and quite frankly, most of Midnights. You will also be able to tell that if the two of them speak for more than 1 hour, their brains start to melt and spiral deeper into the asylum. So in summary, it’s a fun episode! They also have their “But Daddy I Love Him” moment and will be yelling at you towards the end. Enjoy!

We’ve gotten through the darkest days of The Tortured Poets Department, but Sarah was so excited to finally enter the asylum with Mac, who pays the pod a visit from paternity leave! It’s a good thing too, because Sarah was in desperate need of a full TTPD melt down after keeping it together with guests for so many weeks. As you can imagine, there was much to discuss and much to say, so this episode has been broken into 2 parts. Listen now to hear Mac’s listening journey with the new album, the days leading up to the release, and week that followed.

It’s been a week since The Tortured Poets Department released and while some are taking things quite well and approaching the album from a healthy perspective, Sarah is, unfortunately, stuck in the asylum with Taylor and can’t get out. However, she’s never been happier and wants no one to come and take her away. Sarah is joined by guests and friends of the pod, K Bass and Todd, to process her feelings and wonder what it’s like to be a normal person like her two friends. They talk about the irrelevant media reactions to TTPD and dive deep into the meanings of their favorite songs. Listen now to their thoughts, even though this album is incredibly personal and it’s okay if yours differ from ours!!

While Mac is OOO welcoming his new baby into a post-TTPD world, Sarah is joined by a very special guest to give their first 24 hour reviews of TTPD… her husband, Adam! Adam has been a character in the LWSMUDverse, so it was exciting to finally have him featured. While Sarah and Adam typically have different opinions on Taylor and her music, they were excited to find they agree on a lot regarding The Tortured Poets Department. They first explore the nature of Adam’s Taylor fandom, followed by his reactions to important moments leading up to TTPD release, which may or may not surprise you. Although this episode focuses on the first feelings and opinions within the first 24 hours of listening to a new Taylor album with the most amount of music with a single drop in the history of Taylor, they get deep into lyrics and song meanings the best they can. Most importantly, Adam learns that context is everything.

To help keep the anticipation of The Tortured Poets Department at bay, episode 2 explores Taylor and Travis’ relationship, and most importantly, the Kelce/Swift family union. Mac and Sarah are also joined by their first guests - Alex Franklin and Charlie Mihelich! Things get deep as we discuss what this union means for Taylor’s inner child and for Travis’ siblings, as well as Travis’ squeaky clean past. We also go a little rogue and talk about the culture of professional football, but we promise, Taylor makes it into the conversation! So join us in trying to distract ourselves until April 19!
And after you listen to the episode, go watch Dexter: New Blood (written by Alex) and listen to Baywatch Watch pod (produced and hosted by Charlie)!

On the premier episode of season 2, Mac and Sarah decide to stay in the past as they relive the moments after launching season 1. Help, they’re still at the restaurant. But now that it’s all out on the table, they can finally leave with their heads held high and walk right into Tortured Poets Department delusions. They talk about marketing strategy, Disney+ Eras Tour reactions, and TTPD clowning. Buckle up, Swifties, because we’re in for an unhinged 2 weeks!

We’re baaack, Swifties! But as always, before we can get into the episodes of season 2, Mac and Sarah have some housekeeping to take care of. We’re rebranding. Kind of. Maybe. We’ll decide weekly because it’s our pod, and we make the rules. Did you spend all of season 1 wondering what was edited out? Did you leave season 1 needing answers? Well, now you’ve got them! Hopefully. We’re not entirely sure we covered everything, but that’s what more addendums are for! But also probably not, we think we’re over those. Oh, also.. the audio is fixed. Enjoy!

On the season finale of Look What She Made Us Do, we are FINALLY blessed with the release of 1989 TV and the best vault songs of our lifetime. But don’t worry, the delusion and despair doesn’t end there as the realization of Rep TV release is upon us. Will we ever stop being clowns? Will we ever find all the Easter eggs? Will we ever know the truth behind the songs? Likely no, and that’s why Taylor has us all on her invisible string, laughing at us with her head back like a little kid. But that’s why do this. That’s why we show up everyday. That’s why we’re screaming, crying, throwing up - for the hope of it all.

In this episode of Look What She Made Us Do, Mac and Sarah had the displeasure of recording their days leading up to the release of 1989 TV. You’d think it’d be a joyful time for all, but with delusions of Style featuring Styles and sleepless nights over what Slut! will sound like, the chaos of it all became too much. Speaking of chaos, they also do a little trip down memory lane of Taylor’s ex’s and enemies and debate who among them was a PR stunt (spoiler alert, it’s all of them). Even though this episode makes little sense, it’s actually the truest form of what it means to be a Swiftie and range of emotions we all have in common.

In this episode of Look What She Made Us Do, Mac and Sarah dive into their Swiftie villain origin stories and are later greeted by the elusive Jackie and Adam (their spouses) to show that not all Swifites are the same. And even those we spend our happiest Taylor moments with - front row tickets, trying to stay awake at midnight for new albums, announcements of re-recordings - are sometimes also the ones who can hurt us the most. You’ll hear our tears ricochet and our devils roll the dice, but at the end of it all, we always find daylight.

In this episode, Mac and Sarah take on the daunting task of going through Taylor’s past romantic encounters. But not for the reason you think! There will be no Slut! shaming on this podcast, but rather and insightful look into why swifites are the reason for putting Taylor in a box. Well, swifties and Ellen. As much as we hate all men who wronged her, we are grateful for the content.

On the first episode of Look What She Made Us Do, Mac and Sarah do a deep dive into their Eras Tour experiences. They discuss fear and anxiety, credit card debt, and insomnia. You know, all things that go into a Taylor Swift concert. But no matter how hard things got during the Eras Tour leg one, they can agree on one thing - Taylor Swift is worth it.
