We are starting 2025 with a bang! Coming in hot with the one and only...Karen Curry Parker! That’s right, we went live with KCP and had the most beautiful conversation. We spoke about projectors, and parenting, and partnering, and how breaking outdated or irrelevant societal structures is what we are doing when we live into our unique designs with fearless authenticity. We discussed Karen's journey with the system, as well as our own. We spoke about Ra-Uru-Hu, and about what’s to come and how the HD system is ever evolving, like us. Energy never really stops mutating, right?
We LOVED our time with Karen and feel really grateful that we have come to know her from meeting at the High Desert Human Design Conference in September 2024 to now. And we are, as always here at LHBS, excited for what’s to come!

Let’s wrap up 2024 together and discuss the four energy centers in the bodygraph that are classified as motors and some of the themes and words associated with them.
Sacral - Response
Root - Pulse
Solar Plexus - Wave
Ego/Heart - Want
Some of our souls chose to have no motors defined in this life experience. Some of our souls chose to have 1 consistent motor defined in this lifetime. Some of our souls chose to have 2 consistently defined motors in our design this lifetime. And you guessed it, some souls chose to have 3 motors consistently defined in the energetics of their design. And some, some of us souls chose to have all 4 motors consistently defined in this human experience.
What’s cool about understanding this? We all have access to the whole chart. All nine centers. All four motors. The consistency is what varies. And we need that in the world. We need all the variations and expressions. Actually that’s kind of the point. One of the prominent lessons of 2024 - awareness is often the answer. Understanding how our energetic circuitry moves in our body, bringing awareness to how our bodies bring information to us, for us, is one of the main ways we have evolved and grown as humans. How about you?
Let’s look at ourselves with understanding and curiosity in 2025, shall we? We can start with 4 motor energy centers right here, right now. We love you community. We honor you. Just as you are, beautifully and divinely designed.

This episode rocked our world! Our special guest, Nikki Caster, 4/1 emotional generator, shared so much goodness with us in this conversation. Nikki is a gifted human who we met briefly at the HDHD conference in Santa Fe in September. We spent some time with her at a workshop that she co-facilitated with another beautiful human, Jess Tilly. We have some of our besties on! If they sound familiar, it’s because we had them all on individually already on an earlier episode of LHBS. They’ve grown with us. We’ve grown together and independently. We’ve shared spaces and energies that we haven’t necessarily with other humans. We’ve been blessed and we thought it’d be fun and informational (kinda our whole thing here) to have us all get together and have some convos around human design, our paths to getting there, the growth and wisdom that comes with that, and our love for each other and the Dayluna girls and what being a part of that community has bright to each of our lives individually and collectively.
We’re not sure we would be where we are in our process without the community and fractal relationships we’ve found on our path along the way. We know our hearts wouldn’t be as full, that’s for sure!
Happy 11/11 community. We love you so much and we are so grateful for these beautiful humans, our friends, our teachers, our communers, our other ness in human form…and so may we may learn and share wisdom with and to and from and for each other forever and ever amen.

Ahhh the throat center…the energy center with the most gate activation potentials. The energy center that communicates and manifests our reality. We here at LHBS both have stories and wounding around our voice and true free expression of self from that place.
We felt it was time to devote a whole episode to this beautiful energetic center in the chart!
In this episode we start off as we usually do, you guessed it, from our defined throat lived experience. We get into the difference between our defined throat center configuration. We contemplate the throat's purpose- communication & manifestation. We go over each gate located in the throat center and even get into the gate activations potentials pointing toward the throat and the channels they create when energy finds its way there!

Here we go! Part 3 of our time at the High Desert Human Design conference in Santa Fe!
The nine centered game show folks! We had an opportunity to share the stage with Karen Curry Parker this year and we chose to use that time in a really fun, playful, and unexpected way. It was really wonderful to witness the responses to this game show style informative share that we created and were able to contribute to the conference. We learned a lot about ourselves through this lived experience and as always that’s where we love to share from and about.
Join us as we continue to deepen into our understanding of self discovery through living and then sharing our loved experiences with our community. This will wrap the HDHD mini chronicles. Welcome to Part 2 of our HDHD 2024 Chronicles: A Mini Series! Our second event that we hosted at the HDHD conference this year was a little different. We knew the potency of an intentional body forward event like dancing while in a learning environment from previous experiences. But hosting a deconditioning dance party was another first for us. We didn’t have expectations here, but we were still blown away by how amazing it felt and how supportive it seemed.

Sacral trauma. It's a real thing folks. And we are here to address it. In this episode, we discuss how the traumas have shown up for us as two non-sacral humans, and the work we've been doing for ourselves, and now for others with the Deep Dive offering we created.
Please don't misunderstand, there's potential for trauma in every energy center in Human Design, whether it's defined or undefined. We have discussed this in other episodes.
We show up in this one with real life, in real time, examples of our sacral trauma experiences, giving specifics to the activations in the sacral center, and those pointing toward the sacral from other centers.

We couldn’t be more proud to feature this extremely rare, super special guest...Mia Luise! In this episode, we were blessed to be together IRL, along with Monique's 9 1/2 year old daughter (Mia), to create this precious, heart-warming and informative episode!
Mia allowed us to fire off questions about what she understands as a two defined centered rare bird. We believe that we were at this Dayluna "Activate Your Golden Purpose" retreat because we were meant to be there. We did not know what we would be confronted with during our time together there. Some of the experiences shook us to our core. We came out raw and vulnerable and more aware than ever before. We are starting to realize that we won’t ever be the same as before this experience. While we integrate and process our learnings and experiences, we feel called to share with our community what this process can feel and look like. Shared wisdom. Real and authentic. Here we go again, telling our stories from our lived experiences in the place that feels the best to do so! Right here on LHBS, with our people, with each other! Listen in while we discuss Day 1 of our retreat with Dana and Shayna of Dayluna and how that unfolded for each of us, independently and as a duo. In this episode, we walk through what actually happened, versus the expectation of what was planned, the emotional awareness that came with these experiences, and most importantly the living that happened!
The themes we are discussing here are our own through this process but they also lend to this collective theme being spoken about revolving around 9 centered communication. We believe that means talking to ourselves with this level of awareness and communing with each other with this level of awareness, too.
