Yes, it is inspiring to watch the contestants' transformations, but rapid weight changes can lead to serious health risks. Plus, the emphasis on quick physical transformations often overshadows the psychological challenges that come with such drastic lifestyle shifts. In fact, the show really shaped how I decided I wanted to practice, which was with kindness and empathy rather than shame and fear.
