April 20th 1984, Bon Jovi opens for the Scorpions at the Lawlor Events Center on the University of Nevada campus in Reno, Nevada. Bon Jovi had just released their debut album "Bon Jovi" on January 23rd of 1984. Max Volume was onsite and got Jon to go live on the air. This clip also features KOZZ Program Director Daniel "The Sarge" Cook.

I had been searching for this interview for years. I was lucky enough to be granted an interview by one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Alvin Lee of Ten Years After. Sadly, mere days after this interview, he died. Alvin Lee passed away on March 6th 2013 at the Hospital in Estepona, Spain due to "unforeseen complications following a routine surgical procedure". He was 68. We talk about the beginnings of Ten Years After, touring America, and his latest album; "Still On The Road To Freedom". Enjoy
