This is the Allan Lucky’s story of how he went against all odds to become the man he is today.
Born in Songea, to a christian Family, Allan describes his early life as being constrained in the triangle of three main things, church, school and home. From an early age it seemed that this is how his would be. That’s till he came to Dar es Salaam and realized there’s more to life.

While sitting on top of the world, married and with a kid, Allan quits EATV and the SKONGA TV show and leaves the country to neighbouring Kenya. Professionally things were great, but personally it came with a cost of him losing his family. So what were the lessons learned? Any regrets? And why did he come back to Tanzania after all that?

Hakuna kitu kama “A healed man”, na sababu kuu ya yeye kusema hivyo ni kwamba anaamini kila mwanaume ana kazi ya kuendelea kupambania afya yake ya akili mpaka siku ya mwisho, hivyo kwake kuna “A healing man”. Kutana Babuu wa Kitaa, Super Star, mkali kutoka King’oko, mwana hiphop, na mtangazaji kutoka moja kati ya vyombo vikubwa sana vya habari hapa nchini Tanzania.
Kwa macho ya nje, Babuu ni kijana anayeishi ndoto za watu wengi sana. Kijana, maarufu, ana kazi nzuri, ana familią changa. Nadhani hii ni ndoto ya kila mwanaume. Kwa kujua umuhimu wa siku hii na namna gani swala zima la afya ya akili linavyohitaji mjadala mpana nchini Tanzania, Michael na Nadia wameketi chini na kuichambua safari nzima ya afya ya akili hapa nchini Tanzania.
Tunakubaliana na ukweli kwamba kuna hatua zimepigwa kwenye kuhakikisha misaada na ufahamu wa afya ya akili unaongezeka katika jamii, ila lazima tuwe wakweli kwamba bado pengo pia linaonekana.
