  • We are talking about the importance of women getting properly diagnosed with ADHD, as it can help to know how to best manage it in order to succeed in life and be your best self. Traditionally, girls and women weren’t given a ADHD diagnosis, even when they showed many symptoms, and it was known as something that was given to “hyper boys who can’t focus in school”. Thankfully times have changed and this topic is continuing to be talked about more and more.

    We cover:

-Symptoms of ADHD and how they show up differently for girls and women

-Tips around how to be your best having ADHD by having a plan and supports

-Stigmas and stereotypes regarding ADHD, especially in women

-How to go about getting diagnosed and getting help

-Hillary shares her own personal story of being diagnosed with ADHD later in life and how it has changed everything for her (and how it helped everything make sense to her moving forward!)
