During this festive time of year, I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone why self-love and gratitude are so important. Thanksgiving may have passed and the year may be coming to a close, but this is also the perfect time to remember why we are special and how much we appreciate those around us.
We now share bonus episodes of Mindful Crochet each week over on the Stitched Delights by Angela Ko-fi page for a small monthly subscription of $3. You can also get bonus WIP content as I work up some amazing pieces to share with you all. Of course, our base content and this podcast remain free for all and the conversation continues over on The Stitched Community Discord server. Join us to talk about fiber arts and positive mental health!
Stay mindful!

Everyone has their own quirks and mindsets for perfection, or do they?
I take us through my mental journey as I begin to realize just how obsessive and compulsive I can be in my life, my drive for perfection, plus a look at how I overcome in other ways using crochet to calm my mental state.
A diagnosis or an appearance of one doesn't drive who I am. If you ever felt alone in perfectionism, this is the episode for you.
Discuss this and more over with the Stitched Community on Ko-fi and Discord.

Being mindful is so important in many ways. One of those is the ability to use mindfulness to expand past anxious feelings, especially in social situations.
This week I discuss my struggle to be mindful while at a crowded dinner for my better half, his sister, and her extended family members. Join me as I counter my struggles and use mindfulness skills (skills that you can try too!) to work my way through an experience I would have normally never faced.
Don't forget, the conversation continues back at our page on Ko-fi and over on our discord!

This is a hard month for me as I lost 2 women that mattered the most to me as I grew up, my mother and a woman I looked to as another mom to me. Tomorrow is the twelth anniversary of my mother's death, and I want to use this to jumpstart a topic that covers exactly how I have been coping with residual grief over the month of October... crochet for grounding.
Follow along this week as I discuss what has kept me going. Read along with this podcast at https://ko-fi.com/post/Goodbye-October-R6R415CJ4K

I had a lot going on last week and the start of this week, so this week's podcast is a little rushed and a little late. However, Wednesday is not over yet and I am calling it good enough! 😂
At the end of all this mess, you receive an improvised podcast that is good enough. Because sometimes it ok to go with good enough when you have so many priorities on your to-do list.
Grab your favorite fidget toy and spend the next few minutes with me talking about the importance of self-care during brief moments when other things are too much but you need to keep being an adult in a world that does not stop.

Sit down and pour a little positivi-tea from your teapot into your teacup and take a listen. Today I talk about the good that comes from being good and doing good for others.
Positivi-tea is best when shared and that good feeling always comes back in many ways. Crochet along and listen to what is probably going to be a delicious side of reality as you stir in some sugar before sipping from your teacup.

Sometimes life can throw you a curveball, and it did that to me. After years of mental health struggles, I started facing physical issues and I knew...
Something had to change.
Listen as I found my way through a host of struggles and found success in my own way using crochet.

Sometimes backseat driving is not the person sitting in your car telling you how to drive. Sometimes you do not have control over your emotional state and your mental car decides to off-road without direction.
That has happened to me many times, and I discuss how I changed the home address in my GPS so that trip was much healthier.
