I'm thrilled to be joined by Tim Gorman, a real estate broker and the author of "Tangled Legacy," who shares his personal journey and insights into this crucial topic. Tim's book was inspired by his own experiences following the passing of his father, who was both his business partner and mentor. Tim offers practical tips on starting the legacy planning process, emphasizing the importance of leaving behind not only financial assets but also values and intentions.

Empowerment comes in many forms, but one of the most significant ways we can empower ourselves is by taking control of our financial lives.
For many women, this can feel intimidating. Society has long shaped the way we view money, and unfortunately, women have often been taught to feel unworthy or even guilty when it comes to financial success. Amy shares her fascinating journey from interior design to launching her own business, focusing on empowering women to build wealth. Amy talks about her powerful program, Building Fempires, which teaches foundational financial knowledge and combines it with the magic of manifestation. If youâve ever felt overwhelmed or unsure about money, this episode will inspire and empower you to take charge of your financial destiny.
Tune in for an insightful and eye-opening conversation about money, empowerment, and stepping into your power!

I am an avid Health and Fitness girlie. My journey with PCOS started when I was 17 years old. I was told by doctors I had cysts on my ovaries. They didnât think I had polycystic ovarian syndrome because I was not overweight and did not have excessive facial hair at the time. But I was on birth control at the time. (This suppresses PCOS) What helped me most was working with a naturopath, using holistic remedies to balance my hormones and help regulate my periods. Since I was 13, my cycles have been irregular. I have been with my husband for 6 years & havenât fallen pregnant. Every womenâs journey with PCOS is different; but there is a protocol we can follow to address & eliminate symptoms to find the root cause. Some women have been healed from PCOS & were able to successfully conceive, lose weight, regulate their cycles, put a stop to cravings, & restore energy levels. Putting PCOS symptoms into remission is possible. It just takes being BOLD to get started.

Join me as I explore the wonderful world of goal-setting and the importance of understanding your "why" through a unique children's book by KC Aubin, "Red Bunny and Blue Bunny: Don't Build a Treehouse." In this episode, I review this beautifully illustrated story that perfectly complements Simon Sinek's principles from his book "Start With Why." Discover how this fun and engaging tale teaches kids (and adults!) the crucial lesson of focusing on the reasons behind our goals rather than just the goals themselves.
You'll hear how the two bunnies, Red and Blue, embark on a mission to build a treehouse but ultimately learn that their true objective wasn't the treehouse at all. This story serves as a delightful reminder that starting with "why" can lead to more meaningful and satisfying outcomes. Plus, I'll discuss the book's interactive reflection section that encourages readers to identify the real problems they're trying to solve. Whether you're a parent, educator, or just someone interested in goal-setting, this episode offers valuable insights wrapped in a charming narrative. Don't miss out on this enlightening conversation!

Join us as we explore the transformative power of understanding your "why" with insights from Simon Sinek's groundbreaking book, "Start With Why." We kick off by examining how successful companies like Apple use their core beliefs to drive marketing and business decisions, emphasizing that "people don't buy what you do; they buy why you do it." By unpacking Sinek's concept, we illustrate how a strong foundational belief can propel business success and foster deep customer loyalty. Listen in to learn how shifting your focus from the 'what' to the 'why' can lead to meaningful and lasting results, especially for entrepreneurs looking to make an impact.
In the next segment, we highlight the critical role of imagination and purpose in achieving the American dream. By contrasting "why" type visionaries with "how" type realists, we discuss the importance of a clear and compelling purpose for inspiring action and building a passionate team. Finally, we reflect on how Sinek's principles can guide those at a crossroads in their personal or professional lives, using relatable examples from well-known businesses and personal anecdotes. This episode is a must-listen for anyone seeking to align their actions with their core beliefs and navigate through lifeâs uncertainties with confidence.

Join me on a new series as I share my journey from buying books to renting them from the library, a transition I began in January 2022. I discuss the numerous benefits of this approach, such as saving money, reducing clutter, and the accountability of return deadlines. Over the past two years, I've read at least 24 books and started taking notes to enhance my learning. This journey has inspired me to solidify the content by teaching it, interviewing authors, and reviewing their books on the show. In this episode, I kick things off by exploring "Storyworthy: Engage, Teach, Persuade, and Change Your Life Through the Power of Storytelling" by Matthew Dicks, highlighting the importance of storytelling in public speaking and encouraging listeners to check out The Moth and its podcast for inspiration.
Next, we delve into the art of storytelling through the expertise of Matthew Dicks, a seasoned storyteller who has won the Moth Story Slam 36 times and the Grand Slam five times. We'll discuss the significance of storytelling in various contexts, from marketing to personal growth, and how everyone has story-worthy moments, even if they seem ordinary. Drawing insights from Dicksâs book "Storyworthy," I'll share techniques such as keeping a story log and identifying the five-second story to help craft engaging narratives. Additionally, I'll introduce a new series where I review impactful books and invite their authors for interviews, encouraging listeners to send in their book recommendations. If you're an author interested in having your book reviewed or being interviewed, reach out via email or social media. I'm excited to embark on this enriching literary journey with you!
