The astounding Rachel Nichols joins us to help discuss everything NBA. She helps Charlotte and Amin make sense of Bronny James’ performance at Summer League, and reveals what Bronny was like as a toddler. Then, Juju Gotti joins the show to help break down more NBA news. Amin thinks the Knicks break the bank on Jalen Brunson, and Charlotte, along with Knicks fans, think it's worth it. Team USA is losing players left and right, but Steve Kerr deflects as if it doesn't affect the team. JuJu Gotti joins Amin to break down what's going on in Summer League and how nothing even matters during Summer League because the NBA season is vastly different. Jack Gohlke, Cam Spencer, Bronny, Dalton Knecht, etc can look good or bad, but when the season starts, it's not the same. However, looking good goes a long way if you maintain your skills in the NBA. Later, former college basketball coach and commentator Fran Fraschilla joins the podcast to give us his thoughts on this year's NBA draft class and its prospects. As well as why and how all of these Frenchmen and overall foreign NBA players are starting to take over the league.

Amin is joined by guest co-host JuJu Gotti. He's here to help us figure out whether Kawhi needed the Olympics to cement his legacy after he withdrew from Team USA. If he doesn't, does Joel Embiid? Kawhi was replaced by Derrick White, but should White's spot have gone to Finals MVP winner Jaylen Brown instead? Lebron was voted the best player on Team USA, but was Cooper Flagg's performance in training camp more impressive? Zach Edey is showing the world what the hype is about, and is now the Rookie of the Year betting favorite on DraftKings. Amin and Juju close the show with Odds and Ends, where they cover Lebron James' comments about Bronny tuning out criticism, Kiyan Anthony, Carmelo Anthony's son, thinking Lebron and Bronny would beat him and his dad in a 2-on-2 matchup, and a Damian Lillard horse statue in Ogden, Utah.

Steph Curry says he'll be a Warrior for life, but Amin says it reminds him of many other great players who have said that before and still left the team. Amin explains to Al why Demar DeRozan's trade to the Sacramento Kings is a big deal, despite the lack of trending metadata tags in the story. Lastly, Eddie Johnson joined the show to discuss the overlap between basketball and golfing.

Is DeMar DeRozan heading to Los Angeles? Also, will Ben Simmons Return To Philly, and should the fans who found Jaylen Brown's juice ring have sold it instead of giving it back? Charlotte and Amin close the show with a roundup of the best July 4th food paired with your favorite NBA players.

NBA Free agency is the talk of the town. Longtime Warrior Klay Thompson is leaving Golden State after an extraordinary career there, but will look to compete for a title with the Mavericks. Meanwhile, the Celtics are reportedly planning to sell their team, and Charlotte Wilder wanted the first bid. Thanks to the power of friendship (and an absurd number of draft picks), Mikal Bridges is now a New York Knick. He is reunited with his former Villanova Wildcats teammates Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Donte Divincenzo. Amin believes the Knicks overpaid for Bridges, while Charlotte thinks the vibes are worth the price. Plus, some potential bombshell trades are in the works. Could Paul George be traded to the Golden State Warriors? Or Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets? Charlotte and Amin also play Lie Detector after JJ Redick's first press conference as the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Journalist Tom Haberstroh joins Amin and Charlotte to discuss his latest article challenging Michael Jordan's Defensive Player of the Year award. He may be poking the bear, but he has concrete information to back his point. Legendary stats keeper Bob Rosenberg, who was already caught giving distorted stats for other players, apparently did it for Jordan during his groundbreaking year in 1988. This new research adds to basketball's biggest debate, is Lebron James or Michael Jordan the GOAT? Also, did Wilt Chamberlain really score 100 points in a game? Did Stockton really have 1000+ assists in a year? And much more.

Amin and Charlotte were at TD Garden to witness the Boston Celtics win the Larry O'Brien Trophy for the 18th time in franchise history. They saw Derrick White chip his tooth, Payton Pritchard hit a half-court buzzer-beater, and Jaylen Brown win the Finals MVP. Charlotte may or may not have shed a tear after they won. Amin appreciated Joe Mazzula's championship philosophy at the post-game press conference. The championship drought for Boston has finally ended. Amin and Charlotte think the Mavericks did not come to play and made it easy for the Celtics. And thanks to DraftKings, they make way-too-early predictions for next year's NBA Finals.

Amin gives his recap from being at game 3 of the Celtics vs the Mavs. The Mavs lost but put up a good fight; even so, Amin feels the Mavs didn't deserve the win because of poor play. Charlotte is just happy that the Celtics were able to capitalize without Porzingis. Luka fouling out helped their case, but Charlotte and Amin think it's a bigger fish to fry with how it was handled by refs, Luka, and fans. Luka is great but still has a lot to learn, both on and off the court. Amin got up close in the press conference with Head Coach Jason Kidd, and you tell us if Jason Kidd liked Amin's question. We also get to analyze some of Jerry West's greatest quotes and relate them to current players in the NBA.

Rest In Peace to the late great Jerry West, who helped the NBA in more ways than one, and has a legacy that will live forever.
Turns out Porzingis was injured again and deemed out for game 3. Charlotte doesn't think it's make-or-break, but she does believe it'll affect the game. Amin says this will definitely play in the Mav's favor, but who knows if they'll capitalize. We then become the (un)official Clipped after-show and recreate Chris Paul's dramatic monologue from last night's episode.
We also have another week of Pick 6 for the NBA finals. Check out the show to hear Amin's and Charlotte's Draftkings Pick 6 for tonight's game.

Amin and Charlotte got to witness firsthand the Boston Celtics continuing the streak after beating the Mavs 105-98! The team is rolling, but Tatum and Brown feel head coach Jason Kidd is trying to drive a wedge between them. Charlotte agrees but knows it will not rattle them. The Celtics defense is taking care of business, and Amin doesn't know if the Mavs will be able to keep up and that the pressure is on them for game 3. Luka might be hurt and Kyrie is on a cold streak. Lastly, of course, Amin and Charlotte are contractually obligated to talk about the Lakers and Caitlin Clark. Dan Hurley turns down $70 million from the Lakers to stay at UCONN, and Caitlin Clark wasn't chosen to be on the Olympic team and says, "They woke a monster," but Charlotte and Amin call BS.

Future Hall of Famer, Dallas Mavericks phenom, and Humanitarian J.J. Barea joins the Oddball crew to tell us why the Mavs are winning the Finals and more. Speaking of J.J., it seems that all along, everyone thought J.J. Redick might be the coach of the Lakers; however, it turns out the Lakers have been scouting two-time NCAA champion Dan Hurley. Nobody knows who will be the coach, but Amin and Charlotte predict we will find out when the season starts. We also bring back our Hype Me Up segment featuring Grant Williams, Jabari Smith Jr, Matthew Tkachuk, and Luka Doncic, but Amin is feeling chippy today and may not hype up anybody.

Today, we're playing Lie Detector while we wait for Game 1 of the NBA Finals tomorrow. Is Luka Doncic truthful when he says there is no beef between himself and Kristaps Porzingis? Is Porzingis telling the truth when he says he's running pain-free? And is Joe Mazzulla actually a philosopher instead of a coach? We also get Charlotte and Amin’s initial thoughts on the series Clipped after its debut yesterday.
And with the NBA Finals around the corner, Charlotte and Amin provide their official Oddball Pick6 predictions for game one of the NBA Finals, presented by DraftKings.
