We'll dive into the concepts of positioning and communication, two essential elements in crafting a successful personal brand. I'll shed light on the psychology of content creation and why you need multi-dimensional content that caters to your audience's needs, nurturing, and conversion goals.
Remember, you have control over what personal information you choose to share. Building a personal brand is about becoming known for your expertise, not your private life.

One key element that helps introverted entrepreneurs feel more confident (and visible) online
As an introvert, if you’re trying to build visibility, this recording of a live video is going to tell you exactly how you’ll feel more confident showing up.

This is a replay of an Instagram live video.
In this episode, we go into the simplest, most fool-proof way of attracting your clients.
It's not a sales script, it's not 'lead generation', it's not complicated marketing.
It's building your personal brand with influence and authority.
The key to getting your clients attracted to you is to get them attracted to YOU - the person.
The best way to do this is to claim your spot in your field, emerge as the authority and then influence your audience by showing up consistently.
But this can only happen if you have crystal clarity on who you are as a person and what you do for other people.
And by this, I do not mean your service.
What I mean is the contribution you're making to their lives.
Your service is just one channel to do this. You may find that the clients you're attracting go far beyond the scope of your service and are opening new doors for you.
Oh, and this has NOTHING to do with you being an introvert.
Your personality does not factor in here. Your authority and influence do.
Your ability to communicate and articulate do. You don't have to be a social butterfly. You don't have to become someone you're not.
You just have to be certain about who you are as a person and how you want to show up to others.
This is what people remember and gravitate towards.
It's so, so much simpler than you think.

If you arenât walking the talk, youâre leading your audience astray.
When you create a personal brand, your audience has certain expectations from you. Through the things that you say and the claims that you make, theyâve come to rely on you as the authority that you claim to be.
Now if their experience of working with you does not live up to the expectations youâve built up, youâve lost their business as well as their trust.
Imagine if you came from it from your own experience and knew exactly where the struggles and pitfalls are? Imagine if you could give them the exact advice that youâd give yourself when you went through the same problem? Imagine what a difference that would make to them?
Youâre coming from a place of experience, not from one of confusion and lack of understanding.
Now letâs say that you spoke about your experience, your struggles, your story, your entire journey⊠the entire experience with your client would change.
Instead of going in blind, your client would know exactly what youâre good at and what you know, because youâve talked about it and demonstrated it.
And then couple that with stellar service delivery? Youâve got yourself a client who not only will come back for anything else you have to offer, but theyâll tell everyone else about you as well!
Thatâs why - donât ever forget to walk the talk. Itâs the best thing you can do for your brand!

If you thought you need to keep uplevelling with a whole lot of skills to stand out, think again.
Weâre living in 2021, when almost all inventions that were NECESSARY have happened already. But some are still trying to find new solutions to old problems.
The ones who keep trying to out-do each other are trying to gain market share and audience attention. Theyâre also the ones with deep pockets, limitless resources and talent at their disposal đNow by all means, if you're in a technical field that requires a lot of necessary credentials, do what you need to do and go get them.
BUT
As service providers, solopreneurs or entrepreneurs, itâs easy to fall into the trap of trying to solve a problem better than someone elseâŠ
Even if this means solving problems that arenât even problems and claiming that itâs revolutionary. At the end of the day, youâre providing the same solution, but with fluff.

The best way to get your brand to stand out is by being DIFFERENT. To dig into your uniqueness and bring that to the table, instead. It isnât about whether you can out-deliver someone, itâs if you can do it in a way that is uniquely YOU.
What do I mean? Your story and everything that has led you to this point is UNIQUE. The way you think, analyze, and deduce problems are unique.
â You have unique life experiences
â You have unique relationships
â You have a unique set of values
â You have a unique personality
â You have a unique working style that works for you
â You have a unique way of relating to your audience
So why are you so focused on the method when you should be focusing on the EXPERIENCE instead?
Your job as a service provider is to provide a result and transformation that helps your client. But making that EXPERIENCE unique is what will make you and your service the top choice.
And THAT is how you get referrals and more clients through the door.

This episode features a live session from Instagram where I discussed how your personal brand gets you clients (don't mind the audio issues! đ)
It was probably my most successful solo lives to date. I got extremely specific with examples of what consumer behavior looks like and how your personal brand can help sway the decision on whether they'll buy from you or not.
The response from the audience was extraordinary. It was as if a light bulb had gone off and it finally became clear what this whole âpersonal brandâ stuff is all about.
Here are some highlights:
Your personal brand is a perception.
Your personal brand is what other people think about you, that's it. Let's say you're someone who's chronically late, then your brand is that of a late person. Even if you're on time sometimes, you're the one they have to tell to show up 15 minutes early so that you'll get there on time (and all of your friends and family know this).
Now apply this perception to a professional scenario where a client is out hunting for services: the perception that you create of yourself online will help them decide whether they should be investing in you or not.
If your brand is weak or someone who's not entirely reliable, trustworthy or someone who can get them results, they will not enlist your service. Simple as that.
Clients watch you before investing.
Most clients are not those who will speak or engage with you in any way before doing their research. They'll watch you, your content, your behavior, your client results - basically everything before they even set foot in your inbox.
This is particularly true for high-ticket clients. These are serious buyers who don't have time (or money) to waste on the wrong service provider and they want to make sure that you're the right fit.
If during their research they don't think that you're the right choice, you'll never hear a word from them and they'll move on.
Clients are willing to extend their budget if they like you.
Think of that expensive item that you've had your eye on, shopped around for a cheaper alternative, and finally decided to say âscrew it, I'm just gonna get it' because it was such good quality and you considered it a good investment.
Clients are no different - even if they find you a little expensive and shop around - they'll come back and work with you because they like you and they respect your work. They trust that you're going to get them the results that you want, even if it's at a slight premium.
Note: Always hold your ground with prices and resist the temptation to give a discount just to land a client - this actually devalues your brand perception and your services.
You have control over your personal brand, but the audience makes the decision.
You have the ability to manoeuver your brand through what you say and do, but the client is the one who decides what the perception is. Your job is to make that decision as easy as possibly by staying consistent.
In the earlier example of someone who's chronically late - if you suddenly started showing up on time every single time, while bringing coffee for everyone (and remembering what kind of coffee they like), people will start thinking of you differently. You'll be the person âwho used to be lateâ, until people forget that entirely and you become the new, super-on-time-and-awesome-coffee-bringer you.
That decision is theirs to make, but you made it easy for them by changing your behavior and showing up on time (with coffee).
You control what you say and do, but they control what they think of you.

I GET IT.
Ever since weâre young and we first realize that weâre an introvert, we feel like thereâs something wrong with us because weâre not outgoing or social like others, and it doesnât help that others keep pointing this out to us.
We start internalizing our introversion as something negative.
Which couldnât be further from the truth.
Seriously.
Being an introvert is a personality trait, and you need to start addressing it as such.
âNo more âoh Iâm an introvert so I canât succeedâ
âNo more âoh Iâm an introvert so I canât be expressiveâ
âNo more âoh Iâm an introvert so no one will listen to meâ
No more.
Iâm not here to enable or coddle you. Iâm here to help you realize your own limitless brand potential.
But it cannot start if you hold this belief in your head that there is something wrong with you. So stop telling yourself that there is.
The only person who can hold you back is yourself. Snap out of it.
And start embracing everything else that is so awesome about you. Your skills, talents, credentials, experiences, relationships.

Youâre sitting on a goldmine and you donât even know it.
Did you know that as an introvert, you can have one of the strongest brands around?
That you can have a successful, thriving business?
That youâre living in an age where what you consider a âweaknessâ is actually the biggest strength you can have?
Introverts are massive empaths and deep thinkers. We also connect better through writing and are more expressive when we connect with people one on one.
Weâre constantly thinking about doing something new and live in our own world. We love problem-solving and love coming up with new solutions that we can tell people about.
Just donât ask us to get on the phone, tho âđŒ
As an introvert, you possess the biggest strengths you need to build a super credible and relatable personal brand.
Because of your deep thinking and empathizing abilities, youâre able to focus entirely on them and their concerns. Youâre extremely self-aware to the point where you understand EXACTLY how you can help them.
And through your writing skills, you can tell them how đ
And when you start building those connections, youâre able to deepen them by getting close to a select few that youâre able to connect with, and give them the absolute best service possible.
You see how youâre sitting on a GOLDMINE??
So why arenât you extracting all that goodness already?
Your introversion isnât a weakness. Itâs a superpower you didnât even know you had.
Letâs put your powers to work, shall we? -
You donât need to be a social butterfly to build a personal brand.
Yup, you read that right.
âYou donât need to be super social, extremely network-y, extroverted person to build a brand.
Does it help? Sure. Is it a must? NOPE.
â You can build your brand from the comfort of your own home with the internet as your playground.
Heck, thatâs my favourite thing to do!
But one thing you DO need to do? Provide value.
This means you need to showcase what you know and give information freely.
đđŒ Inspire. Teach. Motivate. Entertain.
Whatever you do, make it memorable. Make it noteworthy. Make so much content that you stay on peopleâs minds.
You donât need to be a chatterbox to build a brand. But you need to CARE about people. You need to want to help them and establish yourself as an authority.
Donât ever think you canât build a brand because of your personality.
My friend, you already ARE a brand.
But if you want to attract dream clients, you need to get intentional about your personal brand.
Make yourself impossible to ignore!
