Welcome to the newest episode of Plan-create-post on Instagram. Today, we're diving into the creating part of the process, specifically focusing on Instagram captions.Instagram has undergone significant changes lately, causing many to feel overwhelmed. In this episode, we'll separate fact from fiction and provide practical insights on captions.Let's start with some important facts. Instagram captions have a limit of 2,200 characters, with the first 125 characters visible on the feed. You can use up to 30 hashtags and tag up to 20 people in your captions. Longer captions can improve engagement and watch time, helping your posts perform better.Crafting an effective caption involves several elements. Begin with a strong hook in the first line, captivating readers and encouraging them to expand the caption. In the body, provide context, additional information, or explanations related to the post. Break up the text with paragraphs and emojis for readability.Don't forget to include a compelling call-to-action (CTA) at the end of your caption, guiding readers on their next steps. Remember that links in captions are not clickable, so use a CTA to direct users to your bio link or employ DM automation.Real-life examples can inspire your caption style. Analyze viral posts on Instagram's explore page to understand what works well. Experiment and find your own unique approach that resonates with your audience. In the ever-changing landscape of Instagram, authenticity is key. Share your stories, use storytelling techniques, and let your personality shine through.I also touched on the Instagram's new app called "Threads," which resembles Twitter but isn't available in the EU yet. Once it becomes available, I will do some testing and report on my experience. Join my membership, Content Blueprint Bank, where I give you content ideas for the entire month, as well as a bunch of cool resources that will help you... well, plan, create and post on Instagram! You won't have to think about your first content calendar at all. You can get your first month for $5.99! If your engagement is low, consider joining my engagement challenge. I woke up this morning to a message on Instagram that my account has been suspended due to some violations to community guidelines. Since I was on a vacation for almost a week, with preparations and getting everything ready, I haven't posted any content (other than stories) for over a week now. So, I'm sharing my experience with you, in hopes of helping you prevent something like that happening on your account. This is a completely unedited episode, I just sat down and started recording. I will keep you updated as soon as something happens. Hopefully, I will get my account back, so keep your fingers crossed. Like I mentioned, I have two links for help. So, maybe they will be of use for you. Link 1 for people whose accounts have been disabled due to repeat intellectual property violations or for sharing fraudulent or misleading content. Link 2 for not following Instagram's Community Guidelines. I set up a new Instagram account, so I would really appreciate it if you followed me there and shared it with people you think might enjoy my content. Thank you for being here, and I will update you as soon as I have news! Have a great weekend.

Discover the benefits of having a content calendar, from tracking your posts and understanding your audience better to reducing daily decision-making and enabling content batching. It's a time-saving practice that complements the concept of content batching discussed in episode 6. When it comes to choosing a content calendar format, you can experiment with paper or digital options. Popular digital tools include Asana, Notion, Trello, and AirTable. Alternatively, customizable Google Sheets can also serve as a viable option. The frequency of updating your content calendar depends on your preferences and impulsivity. In today's episode, I want to delve into the world of engagement pods on Instagram. We've briefly discussed them before, but now it's time to dedicate an entire episode to this topic. So, what exactly are engagement pods? They are groups of individuals, either on or off Instagram, who collaborate to boost each other's engagement by liking, commenting, saving, and sharing each other's content. These groups typically consist of people with similar interests and niches, but some larger pods accept participants from various fields. Engagement pods come with certain rules and guidelines. Admins or moderators oversee these groups, and they often require members to follow specific protocols to maintain participation. For instance, you may need to engage with a certain number of posts before sharing your own content. However, it's important to understand that engagement pods have their limitations and drawbacks. Firstly, the engagement you receive from these pods is not organic. While your metrics may temporarily increase, once you stop using them, your engagement will likely plummet. Additionally, using engagement pods can risk your account being flagged by Instagram's algorithm, as sudden spikes in engagement can appear suspicious. Additionally, these pods rarely result in gaining new followers, which can raise skepticism among your existing audience. Joining engagement pods can be a significant time investment, with hours spent engaging with people who aren't genuinely interested in your content. The comments you receive through these pods are often generic and lack value, which discerning Instagram users can easily identify. So, instead of relying on engagement pods, I recommend focusing on building connections through genuine engagement. Network with individuals in your industry, both followers and leaders, and engage with them in a meaningful way. If your engagement is low, consider joining my engagement challenge, where you'll receive valuable tips and tricks to boost your engagement rate. Engaging organically is the key to long-term success on Instagram. Lastly, I want to share some exciting news about my revamped services. I now offer InstaRevamp, where I conduct a comprehensive audit of your profile and provide actionable tips. If you're struggling with hashtags, the Hashtag Whisperer service helps you find the perfect set for your profile. For personalized coaching, the Insta Fixer offers a one-on-one session to address any concerns or confusion you may have. Finally, the Insta Game-Plan provides a tailored strategy based on your goals and aspirations. If you have any questions, or you want to chat, DM me on my Instagram. I would love to hear from you. Engagement is the key to increasing reach and being featured on the explore page. I talk about a few different strategies for engagement. Two popular engagement strategies are the 10x2 strategy and the $1.80 method. I also discuss a few other strategies I personally use the most. These strategies should be repeated several times a day to improve engagement rates and get the best results, but even once a day is better than nothing.I decided to create a challenge. Let's engage for at least 15 minutes, using one or more of the strategies I shared, for the next 10 days. Take a screenshot of your results on notjustanalytics.com before you start the challenge and after it. In this episode, I'll be discussing the planning phase of the Instagram content creation process. I'll focus on finding inspiration and generating content ideas. Inspiration can be found everywhere, including podcasts, books, social media, and conversations with friends and family. To ensure that you don't forget any of these ideas, I suggest having a content ideas bank. You can get my a free Asana template, but you can also use Google Docs, physical notebooks, or your phone's note-taking app. Next, I delve into how to generate ideas.
