The Game theory was first developed in 1944 by mathematician John von Neumann and economist Oskar Morgenstern in their book The Theory of Games and Economic Behavior. The three basic elements of any game are: A set of participants, or "players." The moves, or "actions," that each player may make. The scores, or "payoffs," that each player earns at the end of the game. Simply put, how your daily decisions affects those around you.
Today, society is working against the game theory. We've lost the value we once placed on relationships. We are most successful when you do life with others. The greatest hedge when it all goes down is having relationships. Today everything is transactional. We insta cart, don’t ask for help and our excuse is we don't want to be a burden. A friend of mine made the statement "I forgot how to live. I am simply surviving." That struck a chord in me as I myself was walking through postpartum and it got me thinking of the many women who may have said this exact statement, thought it or are currently feeling it. In this episode I share some heavy truths of postpartum and the reality of choosing your hard. The dark side of postpartum, while real, it is ultimately a choice to live in the pit or working until you get out of it. I also share more on the importance of sabbaticals and especially disconnecting from social media during the first couple months of postpartum.

Rare genetic disorders are difficult to understand. They are painful to walk through. The unknown is scary. We choose however to trust an unknown future to a KNOWN God whose plans are perfect.

Content creating and social media needed to go. It was honestly so refreshing. In this episode I talk about the postpartum wall that led me to taking a sabbatical in order to figure out who Vashti is outside of being a wife and mom. Yes ladies!
