This week, in a first for the Mind Cinema we receive a special delivery from our new friends at the CinecittΓ Di Bologne...a mysterious box full of unassembled reels of film, a paper edit, and an invitation to assemble them into a semblance of a movie...who better to take on the task than our very own Graham and Flloyd 'the bud' Cotton! What secrets lay within the spools, and have we accepted a dark force into the walls of the projection booth...?? Luke, on the other hand, has a mangled VHS he's rescued from the recreation room player that he needs to make some sense of - and keeps the paranormal ball rolling with his tale of a serial killer stalking the rain soaked streets of Chicago, pulled right from the shelves of a 1990s Blockbuster!

This week Luke will be pitching a film about a slick, psychopathic businessman days away from a Really Big Deal - he's hopped up on more blow than a hurricane, and teetering on the edge of a complete meltdown...will a mysterious painting be the thing that tips him over the edge?! Graham keeps the pedal to the metal for his movie - with a Coen-esque chase across 1920s America. A bank robber and a young girl are thrown together by fate and forced to R-U-N-N-O-F-T from a villain more tenacious than a T-1000...there will be bullets, blood, music, magic and a whole lot of heart....but will there be redemption...?

In Episode 3 the Mind Cinema rings with the sound of a gavel hammering as Luke pitches a military thriller ripped right out of the 1990s. Giving us enough corruption, conspiracy, and courtroom showdowns to make Rob Reiner raise his eyebrows, and displaying a knowledge of law so loose it would make Lady Justice blush. For Graham's movie, he dials up the paranoia and transports us smack bang into the 1970s, where no-one can be trusted, and nothing is quite as it seems! Expect more twists than a Curly Wurly as he begs the question...who....or what is Raymond Tusk?

The Mind Cinema is truly in the pink this week with a couple of pitches that could have been hewn from the same rock....or should that be asteroid?! Graham goes medieval (emphasis on eval!) on our asses, tools up, lops the head off a wolf, plays the lute - and that's all within the first three minutes of his movie, things only get more weird and wonderful from there! Next up Luke takes the bloodied gore baton with an accidental spiritual sequel to Graham's pitch, set in space, where a crew of roughnecks embark on an easy-peasy haulage mission to a distant, powerful moon accompanied by a slimy company-man - what could go wrong?!

After 11 (and a bit) weeks of pitches that have taken us from deep beneath the earth to the farthest reaches of outer space, we have come the end of this season. But don't weep into your (free) popcorn and instead stuff your sorrows into a sack, because boy have Luke, Graham and Lloyd 'The Bud' Cotton got a show for you! Firstly, Luke and Graham hold hands and take a windy walk down into the mists of the past to spins yarns over their first trips to the cinema and then...then they get a-pitchin'. Itβs time for Episode 11 and this week our boys have cooked up a couple of delectable treats for you in the Mind Cinema! Graham takes us deep into a sun scorched Australia with a gritty tale of a family torn apart, a whole heap of death-by-cow and a race through the unforgiving outback where cattle are worth more than gold. Luke goes slightly mad and delivers a musical/thriller/comedy/biopic of one of The Bronx's finest exports, taking a few teeny liberties with history for a tale of espionage, Berlin, and unexpected love transcending the Iron Curtain. Get yer bums on seats for the penultimate episode of Season 1, as Graham drops enough Aussie slang to make an in-his-prime Paul Hogan blush, and Luke drops a surprise colon!
