Ian Croll & Tony Scott have the final word on Ipswich Town and preview this Saturday’s game against Fulham.
Everton are currently unbeaten in four and head into Saturday’s game with Marco Silva’s side on the back of a mini resurgence.
The Toffee’s recent record at home to Fulham isn’t good, with Dyche up against somewhat of a Fulham hoodoo over the last few seasons.
What does he do to put that right? What does he do to extend Everton’s unbeaten run? Heading into Saturday’s 5:30pm kick off does the Everton manager face a selection dilemma or is it an easy choice?

Following a first away win of the year for Sean Dyche's side as spectacular strikes from Iliman Ndiaye and Michael Keane secured a 2-0 victory at Ipswich Town, the ECHO's Everton correspondent Joe Thomas and Everton reporter Chris Beesley review the game at Portman Road with a special post match edition of the Royal Blue podcast while making the long drive back from Suffolk to Merseyside.
Fresh from taking in the action in East Anglia from close quarters, the pair offer their expert analysis on what could be a crucial three points for Everton who enjoyed a first success on their travels since the 2-0 triumph at Burnley back on December 16 2023.
A dramatic afternoon saw the kick-off delayed by 15 minutes; the big-spending hosts, who have splashed out over £100million on new players since securing back-to-back promotions, being awarded a penalty only for referee Michael Oliver to overturn his initial decision after VAR got him to consult his pitchside monitor; Dominic Calvert-Lewin spurn a couple of huge chances and a brace of emphatic finishes from his team-mates.

For Evertonians, there is cause for some hope and optimism at last. With new ownership and a new stadium on the horizon there is the sense that the tide is beginning to turn in the Toffees’ favour.
It comes on the back of the news regarding 777 Partners, the investment firm that had come close to purchasing Everton, now fallen into bankruptcy. Just how much of a narrow escape was it for the Blues.
In other news, Manchester City have seemingly won a battle in the longstanding war with the Premier League over FFP/PSR. A ruling over APT, Associated Party Transactions went in favour of the sky blue club.
Ian Croll is joined by Chris Beesley for Friday’s Live Royal Blue Podcast as they discuss all of the above, plus plenty more. Including the vital run of fixtures following the international break.

Chris Beesley speaks to Anders Limpar, the man described by Everton’s last trophy-winning manager Joe Royle as “A football genius” and “the most-talented player I ever worked with,” in the latest episode of Goodison Park: My Home.
Despite hailing from Solna, on the edge of Sweden’s capital city of Stockholm, Limpar, explains how he was actually a boyhood Blue with his affiliation with Everton going back much longer than his three-year playing stint with the club between 1994-97.
The 59-year-old, who had already been a League Championship winner with Arsenal before he came to Merseyside, speaks poignantly about his friendship with the late Kevin Campbell and also recalls the scramble for his signature when his time at Highbury came to an end.
Limpar speaks candidly about his part in ‘The Great Escape’ against Wimbledon, the change of manager from Mike Walker to Joe Royle, winning the FA Cup against Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United and his combination both on and off the field with fellow winger Andrei Kanchelskis who inadvertently helped him to learn Russian.
It’s another generous portion of True Blue nostalgia with our 10th guest so far as we celebrate the final season of ‘The Grand Old Lady’ with one of her greatest mercurial talents.

Everton have been dealt a double injury blow ahead of their game with Newcastle United this Saturday.
Jarrad Branthwaite is facing a fitness battle and is to be assessed ahead of the game. The centre-back returned to action at the weekend, producing a solid comeback as the Blues secured their first win of the Premier League season with a comeback victory over Crystal Palace.
But whether he will be available for the Newcastle game, which takes place at 5.30pm on Saturday, is now in doubt due to the emergence of what is thought to be a quad issue that is in the process of being assessed.
In other injury news, Dele Alli has suffered a minor setback in his efforts to return to fitness. The 28-year-old is dealing with a muscle strain endured after he stepped up his rehabilitation work at Everton's Finch Farm training ground this summer.
Join Ian Croll, Gav Buckland and Joe Thomas as they sit down in the Royal Blue Studio to discuss all of the above and give their predictions for Saturday’s encounter.
