Had you told me that I was to have fun running my business, I’d would have rolled my eyes, and thought to myself, “No way. Having fun running my business isn’t in the cards for me.” Of course, I don’t think that way anymore.

Habits. They can be your best friend, or they can be your worst enemy. When they’re your friend, you walk daily, you clean up your office at the end of the day, you start your morning with a mediation. When they’re your worst enemy, you spend endless hours scrolling on social media, watch Netflix endlessly, and eat the food that makes you feel tired and hungry at the same time.

There is a real ebb and flow to progress, and when you have the time and the persistence to figure out what that ebb and flow is for you, you’re golden. And, oddly enough, I learned this from one source. And, that one source I learned this from is through my work and ending up feeling exhausted.

Something I learned the hard way is this idea around knowing something and completing something. I stayed in the ‘knowing’ space a long time by reading, and researching, and visualizing my work. Then came time to complete something – like, write a book, or record a webinar, or update my website. So, today’s topic is about you, and can you say that you’ve completed something, or do you say you know something. There is a difference and let’s talk about it.

This topic of reassurance puts us knee deep in psychology. And, you all know I’m not a therapist or psychologist, so I’ve turned to the expert teachings of some of the best therapists out there. And, I hope I can put this topic of reassurance in a format that feels understandable, and offer some possible tips on how to move forward.
