  • Kostas aka AgainstMe is a Berlin-based Greek DJ, producer, and co-founder of SOCIETY 3000, as well as a core member of USM Recordings. His journey into electronic music began at just 17, when he started releasing music under a different alias, experimenting with a variety of electronic genres. However, it wasn’t until his first rave and techno parties on his home island of Lesvos in 2017 that he found his true musical identity, and AgainstMe was born.

The AgainstMe project draws inspiration from the struggle to align with one's inner voice, a journey Kostas deeply resonates with. Techno, with its hypnotic melodies, heavy drum patterns, and ritualistic energy, provided him with a revolutionary and unifying sound, something that stood in contrast to everything he had experienced before.

Since then, his sound has evolved, and his releases have gained international recognition. Notable works include the EP Tension Seeker on Warok Records, the album Synopsis on Subsist Records, and UNCERTAIN on Immaterial.Archives. His music has received support from influential platforms such as 6AM, Hate, Monument, Electronic Groove, and Beater, as well as from respected artists like DVS1, Umwelt, Sev Dah, Rodhad, Kangding Ray, K-Hand, Mikael Delta, Richie Hawtin, and Marco Bailey.

As a DJ, Kostas has performed at renowned venues and parties, including Tresor, RSO, Fuchs2, Qreclaim, Astron Bar, Six D.O.G.S, and SMUT Athens. His sets, much like his productions, are a hypnotic blend of driving rhythms and atmospheric depth, captivating audiences around the globe.

Looking ahead, Kostas is preparing to release new material on prestigious labels like SOMA Records, 47, Tar Hallow, Malor Records, Renegade Methodz, and Evilgroove Records, ensuring that his future in the techno scene looks exceptionally bright.

  • Italy born producer and modular synthesist David Castellani is an aficionado in all things modular with a focus on driving, contemporary techno. His sound, fuelled by an array of analog hardware, showcases the intricate aspects of modern music production, while staying true to the fundamentals. Having formerly cut his teeth in a DJ/Producer duo, David has already built a category of healthy releases, collaborations and remixes, while sharing the decks with industry heavies including Nastia, Mark Broom, Dense & Pika & Vril, to name a few. Now based in LA by way of Chicago, Castellani launched his record label Noetic in 2021, cultivating smart & dynamic techno with a focus on synthesizers and analog hardware. The label has curated eleven releases from Castellani so far, featuring remixes from Redshape, Matrixxman, Voiski & Etapp Kyle. Castellani’s journey in music has been marked by two guiding principles – passion and learning, including exploration of world cultures. He uses the didgeridoo, part of ancient First Nation Australian culture which he respectfully acknowledges, in his live sets. He was taught drums by respected Afro Cuban percussionist Juma Santos, who featured on the legendary Miles Davis album ‘Bitches Brew’. The experience of working with Santos has stayed with him till this day. “It was one of the most vivid memories of my youth. We just spent hours playing drums together and then we’d indulge in some cannabis while Juma would share stories about hanging out with Miles Davis in the 70's. I was about 17 and remember travelling home, thinking how excited I was to start this new journey in music. And most of all, this helped me understand the value of education via a proper teacher within music.” Castellani would go on to be an educator himself, thriving as a teacher at Chicago’s respected Columbia College, where he’d teach for almost a decade. His passion for educating is something that stays with him till this day, involved in running modular synth workshops in LA in collaboration with the RE/FORM crew, with whom he holds a residency. He also volunteers with the Jazz Angels, an outreach program that sees him go into schools and help children record and learn about music. His passion and curiosity for all things learning, creativity and technological development has seen him create his own sequencer module, the Precision Disrupter. His background in graphic design also sees a collaboration with clothing brand After Infinite, responsible for designing all their rave wear garments. A magnetic live performer, recent highlights include a special 360-degree audio-visual performance in LA alongside Colin Benders and ONYVAA; a coveted spot playing Chicago’s Arc Festival and the release of his collaborative project ‘Hysteria Dichotic’ with AnnMarie Arcuri, which combined techno, contemporary dance, modular synthesis and film. Castellani wishes to acknowledge that First Nations Australians are the traditional owners of the didgeridoo, a wind instrument he uses in his live sets. He pays his respects to all First Nations people.Tracklist via-Spotify: bit.ly/SRonSpotify-Reddit: www.reddit.com/r/Slam_Radio/-Facebook: bit.ly/SlamRadioGroupArchive on Mixcloud: www.mixcloud.com/slam/ Subscribe to our podcast on-iTunes: apple.co/2RQ1xdh-Amazon Music: amzn.to/2RPYnX3-Google Podcasts: bit.ly/SRGooglePodcasts-Deezer: bit.ly/SlamRadioDeezer Keep up with SLAM: https://fanlink.tv/Slam Keep up with Soma Records: https://linktr.ee/somarecords For syndication or radio queries: [email protected] & [email protected] Radio is produced at www.glowcast.co.uk

  • Konichiwa from Osaka!

Thanks for being here to listen to this special mix, this one comes right from the heart and I can barely keep from breaking down while I write this. TW sexual assault and violence.

I made this mix in the middle of my Asia tour, amidst news of two brutal rape and murder cases in India the past days. So much pain and anger fills me with this news, the brutality and lack of action is outrageous. While I'm grateful to be living in safer places most of my life, no place is really safe for FLINTA people all over the world. I didn't understand why there was a knot in my throat and tears well up in my eyes every time I read related news, until I read something earlier today that states the deep reaction women feel about news of violence with other women is because it builds trauma within us, fear at our core that the news could have been about us or a loved one.

This mix is primarily FLINTA producers as an ode to all those who have been victims...you didn't ask for it and you didn't deserve it 💔 It's an ode to minorities who take micro aggressions in their stride because they happen all the time, and keep looking over their back fearing for their safety everyday...it’s an ode to people all over the world who brave through everyday just to survive when other humans play power games to feed their ego and destroy lives.

My hope is that we as the people embodying the spirit of resistance in the music culture we are part of, stand up for those less privileged than us. I urge the men around us for your allyship not just as words but in action to make the world a safe place for everyone to exist.

  • Lea & Laura; this is the story of a human connection first, when they met in Manchester in March 23, united around their passion, love and dedication to music. In December last year, they played 'by accident' their first B2B in Amsterdam, which was an effortless affair, realizing that their artistic sensibilities resonated strongly with each other - a new duo was born. Lea's organic, tribal grooves blend perfectly with Laura's deeper trippy sound, as they morph into one person behind the decks, delivering an immersive and dynamic experience to the dancefloor.Tracklist via-Spotify: bit.ly/SRonSpotify-Reddit: www.reddit.com/r/Slam_Radio/-Facebook: bit.ly/SlamRadioGroupArchive on Mixcloud: www.mixcloud.com/slam/ Subscribe to our podcast on-iTunes: apple.co/2RQ1xdh-Amazon Music: amzn.to/2RPYnX3-Google Podcasts: bit.ly/SRGooglePodcasts-Deezer: bit.ly/SlamRadioDeezer Keep up with SLAM: https://fanlink.tv/Slam Keep up with Soma Records: https://linktr.ee/somarecords For syndication or radio queries: [email protected] & [email protected] Radio is produced at www.glowcast.co.uk

  • Pink Concrete describes himself as someone who ‘adds pink touches to concrete music.’ This can be heard in his productions and his style of mixing, as he is not afraid to sprinkle some light-heartedness into the otherwise rather serious genre. Heads-down, moody techno with a sliver of brightness and a playful attitude is what he brings to the table.

Originally from Istanbul, his interest in music began in high school, where he began his education in production and mixing. In 2015 he moved to Prague, where he has stayed ever since. The underground electronic music scene in Prague is full of life and creativity, and his contributions include a small underground party series called Kave from 2020-2021, a club night series called Anormal from 2020-2022, and most recently hereandthere, which curates overnight happenings through sound, light and space in temporary, one-off venues. He also hosts a bi-monthly club night at seminal club Ankali, called Pinkies, which already saw legendary pioneers step into its infamous booth.

Pink Concrete released his first EP titled “I Hate Millennial Architecture” in May 2022 on Children of Tomorrow Records, including remixes from Magna Pia and Arthur Robert. He released his second EP with Bipolar Disorder in 2023 summer, with remixes from Matrixxman and Lindsey Herbert and subsequently started his own imprint hereandthere in 2023s fall. His most recent release is his third EP on Ben Sims’ Hardgroove including remixes by Fireground and VIL.

  • With an extensive back catalogue behind him techno pioneer D-Knox continues to fire on all cylinders in modern times. His multi decade spanning career has seen him paint a colourful journey behind him, playing an integral part in the history of Techno and the development of its early stages amongst the greats in the US. Raw edge sounds with a killer groove at the heart, meandering between the sounds of Detroit, and the heavier shades of the techno spectrum are what have earned him his reputable status. His DJ sets manoeuvre between similar sounds, dusting off golden era rarities and combining them with productions of today from himself and artists he has met along the way. Growing up in Kalamazoo (Michigan USA) the acclaimed producer soaked up the influences from each and every corner he could. The city sits comfortably between Chicago and Detroit, and this fact has played a huge factor in his dynamic sound and journey as an artist. With two vital homes of house and techno around the corner enabled a young Knox to witness the heyday of this sound as a generation moulded the future of electronic music. His cousin Jay Denham, founder of Black Nation played a key role in this animated quest as the early 90s saw the pair begin to produce, and dig deeper into the legendary scenes they were fortunate enough to be surrounded by. Knox’s essential Sonic Mind imprint firmly stands the test of time with the 90s label still growing to this day, playing a key part amongst the record bags of tastemakers throughout the years. Fast forward to today and the label is still providing a safe haven for discerning club sounds and beyond, in a time of over saturation and imitation here we have an artist and label who is always striving to be outside the box, offering something new and interesting at each and every opportunity. Inspired by a generation, and now has the task of sharing his knowledge and positive energy. All of this has laid the foundations for what has been a bright career for D-Knox, his innovative sound always evolving with his timeless productions and story telling trips within the booth are a sure sign he is not slowing down in the years to come; a new mix series on the way, label releases signed off and some fresh merchandise paying homage to his rootsTracklist via-Spotify: bit.ly/SRonSpotify-Reddit: www.reddit.com/r/Slam_Radio/-Facebook: bit.ly/SlamRadioGroupArchive on Mixcloud: www.mixcloud.com/slam/ Subscribe to our podcast on-iTunes: apple.co/2RQ1xdh-Amazon Music: amzn.to/2RPYnX3-Google Podcasts: bit.ly/SRGooglePodcasts-Deezer: bit.ly/SlamRadioDeezer Keep up with SLAM: https://fanlink.tv/Slam Keep up with Soma Records: https://linktr.ee/somarecords For syndication or radio queries: [email protected] & [email protected] Radio is produced at www.glowcast.co.uk

  • Rotterdam based underground dance music DJ. Recording music since 2012 under alias Lenson, responsible for Rotterdam Electronix.

Born and raised on the outskirts of Rotterdam, Lenson (real name: Len Ander Som) is one of the up and coming underground Techno artists hailing from Europe biggest harbour city. Inspired by his brothers cassette collection, Lenson started his musical exploration at an early age. His first outing through his and Stranger's Paling Trax label that surfaced in 2015 with raw overdrived tools for dark basements.

With his unique, acidic and uncompromising sound he hold down several intense club nights throughout the country. With playing a broad mixture of Chicago House and Detroit Techno, lots of raw acid 90's cuts, adding EBM, Wave, Electro and Industrial excursions in his musical vision he definitely doesn't have a linear perspective in his DJ sets.

Nowadays he's a staff member at Clone Records where he also started his new label project Rotterdam Electronix and more recent the Fusion of Thought imprint to release pure dancefloor Techno cuts, with a wide array of new artists.
