  • Today has been crazy to say the least!

After Donald Trump's landslide win for the republican party, we've seen every potential emotion come out.

From people thinking the world is now going to be ruined by a fascist to people celebrating that finally we have someone with the capabilities to end wars, reduce the impact of big pharmaceutical companies and protect freedom of speech.

    Every person has an opinion.

BUT...just like Covid-19. People with an opinion that was outside the norm of the society they lived in were criticised, ostracised and condemned for their points of view.

Today I take you through what my beliefs are around the way we should navigate the news of Donald Trump's election win and how we should be willing to hear both sides of people's opinions in order to serve ourselves better and remove ourselves from echo chambers of the same happy or sad set of stories.

  • Have you ever had an idea or concept that you wanted to turn into your own creation?

If so then this episode I break down a 10 point checklist of what you need to do when you want to get your idea into action.

After my recent episode with Beni Doolan, a business consultant and 7 figure start up founder of Fivepointfour i took away our key points plus leveraged my own knowledge after starting two multiple six figure service based start ups in the last decade.

  • Apex Leadership? What the …..

You may have heard of Apex Predators, but how is it that you can apply that too leadership? Apex predators are the top of the food chain, they maintain the ecosystem and they command the respect of their other inhabitants.

Alongside that Leadership in my mind has always been a multifaceted but to keep it simple it’s the ability to influence and look after the person to the left and right of you alongside yourself.

Often people think Leadership directly correlates with rank or authority yet we all know people who are in high positions that we wouldn’t follow. Think Covid, Melbourne and the State Government.

To discuss Apex Leadership I have brought in my special guest Patty McDonald.

Combining the essence of leadership alongside an Apex position of authority is something i hadn’t to this date explored the concept off. And so in this podcast Patty shares with us his thoughts, knowledge and experience studying Apex Predators and Leadership.
