Acts 1:1-14; Nehemiah Moments
We begin in this episode a series on the book of Acts. In this episode, the early sWORDed sojourners prepare for the mission charged them by their Lord. They understands that without their Lord, they can do nothing to bring success to the mission. The Lord is gracious, and He promises them of a Helper, who was to come after a while of waiting. While they wait, the sWORDed sojourners, in one accord, commit to praying to their Lord, blessing God!
May this be our attitude as well, trusting the Lord and committing to prayer as we prepare for or undertake His mission--He alone brings the increase.

Exodus 36:8-40:38; 2 Corinthians 5:1-10
This is the last episode on this series on the book of Exodus. How pleasant it is that the book ends with God dwelling among His people, who have now responded rightly with diligent obedience and service.
The sWORDed sojourner hopes to be, by the power of the Holy Spirit, as diligent in obedience, serving the LORD even through the work of his or hands.
May the LORD bless the work of your hands, and keep you till we meet here again.
In Christ,
Samuel

Exodus 35:1-36:7; 1 Corinthians 3:8-17; Sermon by my pastor on God's presence in the Tabernacle
The sWORDed sojourner, in this episode, confesses a gracious Lord who invites His own, to join Him as His fellow workers. In response, the sWORDed sojourner cheerfully and free willingly submits all of his self, strength, riches, intellect and everything that makes him, knowing that all that he has, he has only because the LORD has given him, knowing that all that he is, he is only because the LORD has made him.
May you be encouraged to continue in your submission to the Lord, giving to His work your strength, wealth and intellect. For it is by His Grace that we are even able to. Amen!

Exodus 34:9-35; Psalm 30
In this episode, we talk about the renewed covenant between God and Israel, after Israel making for themselves an idol of worship, and after Moses interceding for Israel. Any covenant between God and any people must begin with a condescension on God's part, which is itself a grace. Now for God to renew a covenant with any people, already undeserving, yet breaking an original covenant by a most evil offence to God, is a testament to God's grace and mercy being greater than any sin could exhaust. It is by the Grace of the LORD alone (Sola gratia), that a covenant may be made, and even renewed.
It is by this inexhaustible grace that the sWORDed sojourner is sWORDed. Christ, a better Moses, intercedes for all who believe. He is the better mediator, mediating the new covenant between God and His church. He is the lamb whose blood speaks a better word than Abel's, and it speaks a better word on the sWORDed sojourner's behalf. All praise and thanks to God!

Exodus 33:18-34:9; 2 Corinthians 3:1-18.
In this episode, we highlight the immense power of the Goodness and Glory of the LORD, as well as His Graciousness.
It is impossible, even by the power of one's imagination, to fathom the Glory of God. Here in the thirty-third chapter of the book of Exodus, God makes it clear to us the consuming power of His Goodness and His Glory (who would have thought of His Goodness to be synonymous to His Glory?). It is simply unlike anything mere men have seen, experienced or even imagined. It is so overwhelming for the mere man, that in the presence of God's Glory, the only safety man has, is under the gracious covering of the LORD. Man, in his unholiness, and God's Goodness do not see eye-to-eye.
But “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;". You, the sWORDed sojourner, are a Blessed one, through the Grace of Christ which has covered your sin. Now see God in all His Glory, and in all His Goodness, in Christ our Lord. Amen!

Exodus 33:1-17; Psalm 84.
The sWORDed sojourner can do nothing without God! It is in her new nature (now born of God) to desire the presence of her Lord! It is for her better a day in the presence of her Lord than a thousand years anywhere apart from Him. Her very life is sustained by Him, so that her soul longs for His presence because He has made known to her the path of life; and she has come to know that in His presence is the fullness of joy!I hope that this episode encourages you to seek the face of the Lord. If you haven't known Him, well, He bids you come! Come, that you may enjoy the presence of Him who is life. But if you know Him, if you are already sWORDed, then be encouraged to enter His courts daily and He will make you glad.In Christ,Samuel

Psalm 90; Romans 14:10-12; 1 Peter 4:3-5; 2 Peter 3:8-12; Hebrews 4:11-13.
This episode holds an important place on this podcast because it is out of deliberation on all people being accountable to the LORD that this whole podcast sprung. It is only reasonable that it becomes the first full episode.
In this episode, I bring to your notice, or to your recollection, two major thoughts worth spending time on, particularly, but not only, during the sobering transition from one year to a new one.
I hope that this episode challenges you to put some thought into what is discussed, as it could be one of the most important things you ever did.

Samuel

Welcome to the sWORDed sojourner podcast. This is a trailer to this podcast, and in this trailer, I introduce you to the podcast and what it hopes to bring to you--the Gospel of Christ, as is needed by all people.
This podcast will follow the sermon series given at the Christ Church of Wiesbaden, where I fellowship with the children of God. Each week, as the Lord wills it, I will bring to you either a summary of our sermon or of our congregational scripture reading, to encourage you on your christian journey, or to encourage you to come to know Christ, the Mighty, who has the power to save. It is my prayer that this will be a blessing unto you. Praise God!
in Christ,
Samuel Ntim
