We get so excited by news of the new Skoda by Scaleauto we give credit to AvantSlot. What can we say, we're old and no one promised accuracy. Sorry Ivan.
In other news, Fly are testing the limits of collecting madness by selling a car with no tyres, Nick is very excited by the possibilities of Scalextric's surprise new wheel hubs and Scott would rather have a slice of Sloter cheese than the new NSR Lola.

Season Two? A continuation model? Sadly inevitable?.
However you look at it, the return of (possibly) the world's favourite slot car podcast is reason to give thanks to the Gods of Slot.
What have we been doing? Why Is Nick half the man he was? Has Scott managed to resist buying EVERY Renault 5 Turbos Fly release?
There's only one way to find out - listen!
It's good to be back.

This week there's talk of honey covered Mercedes, headless drivers, a chap called Whitney Straight who ISN'T a country singer and why taking decades to build a kit might inspire a future feature. Hear also how Scott bought over 70 cars for less than the price of an Avant Slot Audi set. There's also the new Scalextric Mirage which inspired the running of previous shelf queens, the Vanquish MGs. No diffs were harmed in the ensuing lappery.

Six-wheelers feature in both the racing and the fun this week as Scott gets a FABulously big pink thing and - unknowingly - cheats with a classic SCX F1.
The delightful eccentricities of English slot car clubs feature and, in the absence of much new News that's caught our eye, we do note a very rich man has bought shares in Hornby. A saviour?
The show rounds off with another 'Trackside Slot Story with Nick'.

What once was lost has been found, or at least bought on eBay. Yes, the great quest (see Episode 45) to find the Green Morgan has been completed. Or has it. We hear how things went at Round 2 of Slot Rally GB and decided things will be better if all the entrants have stage names and walk on music like in darts or wrestling. Success on the stages seems to require either an SRC or ScaleAuto and to be called Graham.
We also have the first of Slot Stories With Nick, cosy pod-side chats with Nick telling the story behind one of his slot,it Porsche 956/962 collection. Just 59 more to go.

Scott reports back from a successful foray into the world of digital racing and helps the economy by instantly splurging his tax rebate on slot cars. Nick is doing his best to not mention certain rumours in F1. He did it once, but we don't; think anyone noticed.
