This year has thrown us all for a loop so it's no better time to make a bucket list that you and your dog can do together.
I've experienced a lot of loss this year so one thing I've done to tackle the grief is to be more intentional with my time. So instead of putting work first, I've been living in the moment and trying to do as many things on my bucket list as possible.
I'm not going to lie, it's making the year so much sweeter which just goes to show how we experience 2020 is totally up to us. It's all perspective!
I hope my bucket list inspires you to get out there and listen to your wild child.

Let's end that! All achievements are worth celebrating! Paying a debt off. Graduating. New job or promotion. Finally sleeping in. Moving in to a new place. A really good hair day. Finishing that endless to-do list. Whatever it is, it definitely deserves a reward.
It's time we start celebrating ourselves and all of our accomplishments. Not tomorrow, not next week, right now!

Stick around to the end to hear what you can add to their food to make sure they're always getting all the supplements and nutrients they need.

Let's talk about anxiety!!
In the last episode, we talked about how to help your anxious dog when you have guests over. I’ve gotten some great feedback on that episode and I'm very happy you all found it helpful.
I received a couple questions regarding managing your own stress in those situations so you can show up as a better pack leader.
So I wanted to give some tips on things I do on a daily basis that help me manage stress and anxiety so I can show up as a better leader AND so I can feel as fulfilled and happy as I’m meant to be.

Courtney Green tackles two questions today regarding anxiety in dogs and the struggle of having guests over because of it.
Q: "My friend is starting to bring her dog over to my house and she has never been socialized so she has anxiety when she's here"
OR
Q: "My dog is always barking, shaking, and super anxious whenever I have guests over. Can I fix this?"
Want the answer? Tune in to this quick episode and find out some simple tricks that will leave your anxious dog feeling more confident, carefree and trusting.

How many of you have wanted to skip 2020? How many are tired of the curveballs and just want things to go back to normal? Who has actually said the words “How am I going to get through this!?”
If you can relate to any of those this episode is for you. Courtney Green chats about how she's processing all of the world's chaos by changing her perspective. She's no longer asking how can I get through this. Now she's asking how can I GROW through this!

Now more than ever it’s obvious that we need to take care of ourselves. In order to function in this new world of ours, it takes a lot of strength, courage, ambition, confidence and honestly it takes a lot of smarts, too.
So I think it’s really important that we make a shift in the way we show up for ourselves so that we can prioritize self care, which in the long run makes it possible to make real change.

In this episode, we’re going to kick it off with fleas. We're going to discuss how to test for them and what preventatives to choose.
Then we’re going to chat about skin allergies and food intolerance.. How to see if your dog has them, how to determine what’s causing it, and what to do to treat skin allergies. It's also really important that you learn how to prevent it from happening again.
I also talk about holistic supplements that you can add to your dog’s diet that will help your dog’s skin health so stick around to the end for that.

Tune in to see Courtney's approach to setting your dogs up for success when it comes to going back to work.
Let’s be real, COVID has been a nightmare for many of us. However, our dogs have really had all of their dreams granted. Like a genie came down and gave them 247 access to us and now we’re about to leave and break their hearts.
Don't get me wrong, some dogs may love that they get their alone time back. But others are going to hate it and might form separation anxiety because of it.
Let’s help them be happy with the change so that we all can adjust back to the new norm with little to no fear or anxiety.

New dog parents are popping up from everywhere because of this pandemic and I couldn't be happier. So many different types of dogs are getting a chance at an amazing life and that is one of the best silver linings of COVID-19 (if you ask me!)

I've been struggling with keeping steady energy for years. I tend to be passive, a people-pleaser, a workaholic, and someone who constantly puts too much on my plate. So as you can imagine, I often feel drained of all my physical and mental energy.
For years, I knew I needed to make a change, but honestly I put everyone else before myself so I pushed it off and didn't realize it's weight.
Then I hit severe burnout and it left me no choice but to start to do something new each day to protect my energy. That way I could better show up for myself, my animals, and my relationships.
That is when I realized that prioritizing everything but myself was my biggest energy drainer of all, because it messed with my head, self confidence, and pretty much everything else.
After struggling with protecting my mental energy for my entire adult life, I finally feel like I'm figuring out tangible tools and habits that work for me. Honestly, since dedicating the little energy I had left into this, I've felt more energized, excited and less anxious about each day.
So these are all of the habits I've adopted to add more energy to my life. They have been life changing for me, so I hope you see a shift as well.
You likely wont start all of them at once, but choose a few that speak to you and continue adding more habits so that you feel energized and full of life each day.

One of the common questions I get from dog parents has to do with knowing when your dog actually needs a visit to the vet or when it's something that can be treated or monitored at home.
It's really important for dog parents to be the first to recognize signs of sickness in their dog. So my recommendation to you is start getting in the habit of examining your dog regularly so you know the difference between a healthy dog and a sick dog.
If you check your dog regularly it will be easy to tell when something is off. So today you're going to learn how to examine your dog like a pro so that you are the first to detect when your dog is feeling blue.
