The Commentary on the Gospel of Matthew Podcast is an extensive and in depth study which examines this important book from a different perspective. Tim Hegg approaches the text from the understanding that Yeshua did not “do away with” the Law (Torah), but rather, upheld and preached it. Hegg separates from the traditional Christian view of the Tanach (Old Testament), putting Yeshua back into a 1st Century, Jewish context. Each week, Tim Hegg will take listeners through verse-by-verse lessons in the Messianic Jewish Gospel of Matthew. Join us!

Welcome to Walk Like a Hebrew, the podcast in which we talk with Torah-pursuant Christians from all over about how on earth they got from THERE - wherever that was - to HERE - walking out a life that combines faith in Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah with an emphasis on being set-apart by keeping the Torah of YHVH (God). Torah, commonly translated as "Law," literally means "instructions" in Hebrew. We live by 1 John 2:6, "Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked." We eat Biblically clean as He did, we observe the Seventh-Day Sabbath and celebrate the Biblical feasts just as He did. How do YOU walk out your faith? Do you walk like an Egyptian? A Babylonian? Like the world? Or like the One who died for you? Let's talk about it!

Messianic Judaism is a biblically based movement of Jewish people who have come to believe in Yeshua as the promised Jewish Messiah of Israel. Yeshua is the Hebrew name for Jesus, which means Salvation. Today there are tens of thousands of Messianic Jews in the United States alone – some have estimated the number to be as high as 150,000. Messianic Congregations and Synagogues are springing up in almost every major city across the country including San Diego. Other nations such as Canada, England, France, Israel, and Argentina are experiencing a growing movement of Messianic Jews as well.
