"Jen" came in complaining of always being tired, with a diagnosis of Idiopathic (unknown cause) Hypersomnia (tired and sleepy all the time).
Listen as Jen explains how for between 5 and 6 years this affected her life and despite seeing multiple doctors and sleep studies, nothing had improved the condition until she tried hypnosis; and despite being skeptical, her problem was completely gone in 3 sessions.
Techniques used included direct suggestion, metaphor and affect bridge regression.

Are you ready to go from "making resolutions" to getting RESULTS?
Here are some facts about Americans and New Year's Resolutions. In our seminar on the 24th, we'll address these common issues and give YOU the tools to make this year different!
➢ Some discouraging information: Most people fail in adhering to their stated New Year's resolutions. Specifically, 22% fail after one week, 40% after one month, 50% after three months, 60% after six months, and 81% after twenty-four months (Norcross & Vangarelli, 1988, as cited by Koestner 2008, p. 60).
➢ Three reasons for failing to achieve one's stated goals (Baumeister and Heatherton 1996, as cited by Koestner, 2008, p. 61):
(1) Unclear and vague goals.
(2) Failure to gauge one's progress toward the stated goals.
(3) Weak self-control and self-regulation when facing challenges that impede one's ability to achieve the stated goals.

Science now knows that our brain can re-wire itself, sometimes quite extensively, throughout our lives. This gets great press involved in such wonders as people who have brain injuries who relearn skills such as language, writing, and walking.
