On today’s special show, I begin by showing how we are facing stagflation in a way that is worse than any government-reported metric. We’re then joined by Oklahoma state Senator Dusty Deevers, who is the vice chair of the newly created Oklahoma Freedom Caucus. He delves into all the reasons why Oklahoma is not red and why the Republicans push crony capitalism and illegal immigration. He also makes the passionate case for abolishing abortion and believes Republicans have always been weak on the issue.

We’re here in Dallas today to celebrate the success of the State Freedom Caucus Network and strategize for the coming years. In a detailed and freewheeling interview, Andy Roth, the president of the network, explains how he was able to create a de facto new party within the Republican Party. He discusses how these members have been able to move the red states to the right, force RINOs into a do-or-die mode of action, and survive 95% of the primary challenges despite being outspent. If you are looking to get involved in the issues that matter in your state, if you have a Freedom Caucus, you are in business.

Recently, Trump endorsed Florida Amendment 3, but his comments show he has been misled about the nature of this amendment. It will exacerbate every one of his stated concerns. Today, I offer numerous reasons why libertarians, who generally scoff at over-regulation of drugs, would be well advised to place their strategic interests ahead of abstract positions and oppose Amendment 3. Given the imbalance of how and under what circumstances it is legalized, in conjunction with so many aspects of our society, health care system, welfare state, and weak enforcement of other crimes, passage of Amendment 3 will not lead to a libertarian outcome. It will turn Florida into a blue hellhole. At the end, I take Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) to task for declining to even oppose abortion on demand and vote against Amendment 4. We have a crisis of a generation of Republicans who don’t even know what they believe on critical issues.

We begin this post-Labor Day home stretch by cautioning about the need to avoid a sudden loss in November with no preparation or contingency. I also analyze Trump’s recent opposition to Florida’s Amendment 4 but unfortunate support for Amendment 3, which demonstrates that we get exactly what we fight for – no more, no less. Next, I’m joined by Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas), who is laying down the gauntlet for his colleagues. Chip authored the SAVE Act, which would prevent noncitizens from voting. He believes that attaching it to the budget bill is the most realistic way we could engage in a pre-election policy fight on a meaningful issue that will increase the chances that Republicans win. We engage in a freewheeling discussion of how Republicans must make a big play in order to win this election, why Republicans are underperforming, and what to expect from House Republicans if they pull it out in November.

Too many people are making every important political debate about the decision of whether to vote for a flawed Trump over Harris. Today, I offer a unique insight into Trump’s betrayal of the life cause. We need to divorce the strategic decision of whom to vote for from our broader beliefs and activism. One can still reluctantly vote for Trump but not excuse his nonsense and, in fact, double down on fighting against abortion amendments. I broaden this discussion to other issues as well to show that we represent much more than a five-minute decision on a ballot once every four years. Also, if you sell yourself as an influencer, your job is to influence the politicians on behalf of the people, not to influence the people on behalf of the politicians. What you do every day in between is what defines you. Politicians are horses to ride toward a fixed destination. They don't ride you aimlessly into oblivion.

We begin today by showing how all of the pro-life Republicans who screwed us on every issue are now screwing us on the abortion issue as well. Outside Florida, there is no organized opposition to these abortion amendments among state party leaders. Next, we’re joined by my friend Andy Fox, who just won a seat on the Knox County Commission, for a fun discussion on how to run for local office. We discuss both the imperative and the mechanics of running for local office. We need to break out of this dynamic of politics being a spectator sport rather than a participatory sport on the right. We also discuss the importance of mid-sized red counties like Knox County and how the Left is beginning to make inroads into these areas. Fox believes that the historical conservative nature of these counties has bred complacency and has perpetuated a class of Republicans who still believe they can and must compromise with people who will destroy their heritage. Are you up to the challenge of keeping your red county conservative?

The bad news is that Harris is up in the polls, Republicans are down a lot in Senate races, and Democrats have tended to outperform their polling. The good news, however, is that Harris clearly has not gotten a bounce out of the convention and is now trying to run away from the open-border and Green New Deal policies. What this all demonstrates is that if we can make the election about the issues, Harris will lose. I make the case why it’s better to have the budget fight over release of dangerous illegal aliens into our neighborhoods than about the SAVE Act, as being pushed by House Republicans. We also discuss the "political activism Chernobyl" and how there are no conservative players on the field fighting any issue in the states. We are only losing these ballot initiatives because we fail to fight back. We’re seeing signs of life now in Florida against the abortion amendment. Finally, I discuss the good and bad news from last night’s Oklahoma elections, the need to prepare for legislative sessions, and the imperative to change state laws to get rid of “nonpartisan” elections for local office.

We begin today’s discussion by noting the importance of RFK’s speech on chronic illness and the need for red states to protect independent local farmers and ranchers. Next, we’re joined by Utah state Rep. Trevor Lee (R), who discusses the legislature’s recent reforms to the ballot initiative process. Soros and his allies are using direct democracy and oligarchy, which not coincidentally tend to merge into one, in order to make red states blue. They are mixing initiative petitions with ranked-choice voting, unelected redistricting commissions, and judicial supremacy to enact what they cannot achieve in a legislature. Trevor discusses his fight to make the legislature supreme in lawmaking, as our founders envisioned. We also discuss the need for state Republican parties to refuse election money and hold conventions instead of primaries. Finally, Trevor warns that states like Utah are being seeded with refugees and illegal aliens who are changing the character of the state – and it’s all by design. Unless we get involved in local red-state elections, we cannot enact these reforms. And if we fail to enact these reforms, red states will turn blue.

The more Trump falls behind in the race, the more he seems inclined to move to the left and blame his electoral problems on conservatives rather than his own image. I go through some of his recent lurches to the left — not for the purpose of saying to stay home but to begin building a parallel movement to fix the GOP beginning today. Voting for Trump over Harris is not mutually exclusive with remaining true to who we are down-ballot and on the issues, even when that conflicts with Trump. Next, I delve deeply into a budding fight in Florida, with almost every elected Florida Republican purposely picking a fight with DeSantis over a tiny development project in a few state parks. The same people who refuse to join any of his fight against the Left, including on ubiquitous abortion and marijuana use, are suddenly feigning outrage over quality of life in the parks. It’s built on insidious lies and exposes the fact that the Florida GOP is as bad as it always was. We need to do major surgery on this party no matter what happens in November.

We begin today’s discussion with a postmortem on the Democratic National Convention and how Trump’s challenge going forward is to make sure Harris is pegged as the incumbent. So far, Harris has successfully painted him as owning the status quo. I also delve into the partial victory at the Supreme Court on state requirements for proof of citizenship before voting. Once again, Amy Coney Barrett — and to an extent, Brett Kavanaugh — betrayed us. Next, we’re joined by Amanda Radke, a South Dakota cattle rancher who has been a leader in the fight against the green energy pipeline. She celebrates a state supreme court decision that will help block this pipeline project and its accompanying land grab. She has an important presentation on how land controls food and he who controls the food controls the people. If we don’t push back against the Green New Deal and anti-freedom land and farming policies, cattle ranches will become extinct and a handful of foreign-owned companies will ensure that we lack a diverse and abundant supply of cheap, healthy meat. The fights for land use, cattle ranching, and deregulation, along with opposing green energy and conservation subsidies, are among our most important to-do items this coming legislative session.

Republicans lack effective communicators who can use a wealth of data, narratives, and real-life stories showing how harmful the Biden and Harris policies have been to Americans. I begin today by showing how pathetic the Republican Party is. At a time when Democrats are warning, from their perspective, that Republicans might turn America into Florida, we can’t even get the Florida GOP to support DeSantis on critical issues. Next, I deliver a blitz of data and information on teenage gangsters being released into the country and how easy it would be to message this issue during a budget fight. I also go through the state of the economy to prove how venture socialism has delivered crushing stagflation to nearly everyone but Democrat donors from the seven largest corporations. I also note how Republicans can easily use the new trend of late-term abortions and use of dangerous abortion pills to turn the tide on the issue. We have never had more facts on our side. What we lack is a movement with conviction and a vision.

We finally have good news to share! First, we begin with a discussion about ranked-choice voting in Alaska and how red states could become blue if we don’t do surgery now. Next, I give an overview of the Florida school board races to demonstrate that DeSantis has made greater strides in winning back large metro areas for Republicans, but that momentum will stall unless the party changes its image. But the big news is Wyoming. We’re joined by Jessie Rubino, Wyoming state director for the State Freedom Caucus Network, who breaks down the conservative wave in last night’s legislative elections. Conservatives likely picked up 11 seats in the Wyoming House and now should have a governing majority in both chambers. We discuss the opportunities and challenges of fighting the GOP establishment and how we could easily change the agenda of red states if we only remained focused.

Rather than focusing on the stupid Democrat convention, conservatives should be strategizing about what looks to be an impending election loss. They must figure out how to make a big play to change this election while also building an insurance policy in red states. I continue our discussion from last week on how new data is reinforcing what we’ve seen in recent elections, with Republicans getting slaughtered in critical suburbs. This will not only lead to a Harris victory but leave us in a vulnerable position in Congress and numerous state legislatures. Towards the end, I discuss the big GOP shift on abortion and how it exemplifies an old adage of mine: Republicans will vigorously fight only when the ball is not in play but then lie in a state of coma when the Super Bowl is actually being played.

For years, all we got with Republicans was the promise of “the lesser of two evils.” Meanwhile, things always get worse, and now Republicans can’t even win any more because the voters sense a lack of sincerity. There has to be a point when we finally pull the plug on “vote Republican no matter what.” In my view, that line has been drawn in the Utah gubernatorial race. We’re joined by Utah state Rep. Phil Lyman, who is challenging Gov. Spencer Cox as a write-in candidate during the general election. Lyman makes the case for why this situation is different. He believes that he is the rightful nominee after having won the convention. He describes the web of corruption surrounding the players and the process through which Cox gathered signatures. He also shows how Cox is so liberal that it would actually be worse for him to win than the Democrat. This is something we must keep in mind for the future in other states, if we ever hope to finally break out of the vicious cycle of uniparty failure theater.

We need to diversify our political investments just like we would financial investments. We need to understand the limitations of Trump to even win, much less change things, as well as our limited ability to alter the outcome of the presidential election at an individual level. However, when it comes to red state local and statewide races, we can accomplish so much more. I also explain why I’m supporting Phil Lyman’s write-in campaign for governor of Utah against Spencer Cox. In that vein, we’re joined by New Hampshire state rep. Emily Phillips who got elected as a school board member fighting mask mandates and is now challenging a RINO state senator. She explains why her election embodies both the opportunities and challenges conservatives face in making red state legislatures red. They are truing to shield members from having to take tough votes and her entire mission is to force them to take those tough votes. She also shows how RINOs are so shameless and have no fear of God that they are willing to lie about conservative challengers and paint them as the liberal. It was so bad that Emily’s opponent, a mask supporter, photoshopped a picture of her with a mask to try to make her out to be a COVID freak when in fact she was the local champion against mask mandates.

We begin by discussing the need for conservatives to focus on down-ballot races and other important action items that will determine whether we preserve red-state America regardless of what occurs at the top of the ballot. We’re joined today by James Uthmeier, chief of staff to Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is running the Florida Freedom Fund to prevent Florida from becoming California. He warns that Amendment 4 is the most radical abortion initiative in the country. It will codify abortion until birth with zero parental notification and no ability of the legislature to regulate any aspect of the procedure, health care provider, or clinic. The Left is using egregiously deceptive language to vote on poll-tested talking points rather than genuine lawmaking. This is why we must restrict the initiative petition process to preserve Red America. Likewise, James warns that Amendment 3 is the most open-ended marijuana legalization that will make it free to use in every corner of the state – public and private – and will result in turning the state into California. He notes that if conservatives only got on the playing field, we’d easily beat back both amendments.

Right now Trump is not winning because the focus is not on the critical issues. Today, I paint a vivid picture of how Republicans can make the entire buildup to early voting about the cost of living, but especially about terrorists, murderers, rapists, gangsters, and fentanyl traffickers flooding our communities. If Trump were to ask Speaker Johnson to convene a special session of Congress during the Democrat convention, Trump could give a speech about the border on the steps of the Capitol. I provide an endless litany of stories and data about the Harris administration releasing the worst bad actors of foreign countries into our communities. I also explain how Republicans can easily message the cost-of-living issue. Despite fallacious economic data from the government, 59% believe we are currently in a recession. If Trump loses this election, he has nobody to blame but himself.

Today, I issue a clarion warning that unless Trump ups his game and we craft a better message, Harris will win, possibly overwhelmingly. I provide an analysis of how Trump woefully underperformed in suburbs even of small to mid-sized cities in red states in 2020. I go state by state to show how it wasn’t just a question of cheating in blue states that made the difference. Trump underwhelmed his 2016 support across the board, which shows that he has lost critical voters he needs to win a national election. Unless there is a plan to get those voters back, we are basically going into November throwing away this election, along with a number of down-ballot races. It’s better to have this discussion now than in October.

We begin today with a discussion of Trump’s press conference. It embodied his floundering in terms of both policy and electoral viability. The campaign badly needs a shake-up if Trump hopes to win. His refusal to even commit to opposing abortion through birth in Florida is also stupefying. Next, we’re joined by Texas family doctor Kat Lindley, president of the Global Health Project, who gives us a briefing on bird flu. She warns that global governments are building all of the ingredients for COVID 2.0: use of emergency authorities, gain-of-function research, sudden emergence of mRNA vaccines, and countermeasures that harm freedom and the economy. It’s eerie how similar the playbook is to COVID. In particular, she warns that they are attacking the food supply. We must pass laws in states banning gain-of-function research and also tightening regulations on labeling mRNA in the food supply.

We begin today by pointing out that Trump is not acting like he wants to win this election. Commensurate with how much you believe this is a must-win election is your obligation to demand a course correction on this campaign. Next, we’re joined by Tracy Shuchart, a financial and commodities expert, to do a deep dive on our economic health. We cover everything from the recent yen crisis and electric vehicle grift to the Federal Reserve stupidity and predicting where the economy will head in the next few months. Tracy notes that because America is the “cleanest of the dirty shirts,” the Fed might be able to continue its Ponzi scheme of artificially inflating the market to the benefit of those who already have a lot of capital, but the average consumer is now facing permanent stagflation. Ultimately, we need to move away from a command economy, cut spending, and abolish the Fed, but there is zero appetite in either party to do what it will take.
