Two Disc Rounds!
-- Putter may be a must have You really learn your discs You learn your week points, and shots you need to practice UDisc Quick StatsDuring the 2017 Disc Golf Pro Tour, there were only 6 players that had less than 40% pars. These also happen to be the more aggressive players that most often go for birdie or bogey.
Anthony Barela (34%) had the second fewest pars (after Eagle at 33%). Anthony was also #1 for Parked and Circle 1 in Regulation!
This goes to show you that there is a give and take for being aggressive and the overall outcome of your game, as Barela finished the 2017 DGPT in 43rd, while Eagle finished in 15th.
Also, Ricky Wysocki who finished in 1st for the DGPT had 36% Pars, and Paul McBeth who took 2nd also had 36% Pars.

Round 1
Jeremy Koling proves why he won last year by leading after the first round at -9
There were a total of 10 eagles during round 1, 3 of them by Kevin Jones
Round 2
Apparently there was a slight altercation between Barsby and the spotter for hole 17
His first shot rolled OB, the spotter didnât retrieve his disc before it floated away and Barsby was very irritated
Barsby ended shooting a double bogey and at the time was in 1st by 2 strokes
Nate Sexton shoots hot round of -9 to take the lead over Koling by one stroke
Three way tie for 3rd between Owens, Barsby, and Wysocki, two back of Big Jerm
Nate Sexton / AJ Risley tee time mixup
AJ was put on the lead card, Sexton on chase card
Sexton has the lower PDGA number
Duvall stated via DGCR that they had an issue when sorting ties out after round 1. Round 2 tee times were already posted before they found the error and felt it easier to go with already posted tee times

Sexton and Wysocki both shoot a -10 for the Moving Day hot round
Nate holds on to 1st place with a 3 stroke lead over Wysocki

Sexton finally win his first well-deserved Major event and is the new USDGC Champion!Hall of Fame Classic - National Tour event

Wysocki was able to win a playoff between himself, McBeth, and Lizotte in a sudden death playoff.
McBeth and Lizotte tied for 2ndNational Tour Points Winners
Paige Pierce take the NT points win by 14 points over Catrina Allen
McBeth holds onto the NT points win by just 5 points over WysockiDGPT Championships presented by Prodigy
Paige Pierce was able to add another win to her total for 2017 as well as the DGPT points win
As the field shrank down to the final 5 in the menâs division, the battle came down to McBeth and Wysocki once again
McBethâs drive on hole 18 put him in early trouble from which he wasnât able to recover, leaving him tied with Lizotte for 2nd and giving Wysocki the win and the overall DGPT points win as well

a. Round 1
i. Battle between Paige Pierce and Catrina Allen with Paige having a stroke lead, Weese is in solo third, while Hokom and Fajkus are tied in fourth
ii. No surprise with McBeth and Wysocki tied at -9, tied for 3rd are Barela, Doss, and McMahon at -8, both Wysocki and McMahon were able to eagle hole 6
b. Round 2
. Paige stays on top while McBeth holds on to the lead, while Ricky falls off the lead card as Anthony Barela jumps up to it
c. Round 3
. Paige finishes with a 15 stroke lead
i. Wysocki comes back shooting a -11 to push him into 2nd
d. Round 4
. Paige dominates the division by 18 strokes for the win
i. McBeth and Wysocki battle it out, tied after 18, sending it to playoff

If you donât know, Jeff Mittl is the current and long standing TD for the Beaver State Fling. Jeff earned himself a PDGA Tournament Director of the year award in 2010 for his work with the BSF since taking the TD reigns in 2009 and continues to develop and improve the event year after year. Jeff has maintained NT status for the BSF since 2009 with the exception of 2014 when Portland hosted Pro World's and Jeff of course was an instrumental part of that core team of organizers. Jeff Mittl has had two other TDs helping him along the way with Michael Phillips in 2009-10 and Jeff Hagerty 2011-2017. The Jeff Duo has proven to be a well oiled machine over the last 6 years supported by an amazing staff of core volunteers.

Utah Open - Disc Golf Pro Tour Event Round 1 Four way tie at top in MPO with Bobby Musick, Ulibarri, Koling, and Wysocki all at -8 Paige dropped out due to family emergency Catrina Allen and Jessica Weese tied for the lead at +6 Due to the miscommunication and no rules in the caddy book, many people played the hole wrong and didnât use the drop zone What we heard is that the players meeting had mention of this, but nothing was in the caddy book This would constitute a 2 stroke penalty on all those that didnât use the drop zone if their disc went in the water, but no penalties were added due to the confusion Bit of controversy over a drop zone that is on one of the holes, 16 I think Catrina and Jessica battle back and forth and end up tied going into the final round Battle between Sockibomb and Big Jerm Anthon has hot round and finishes with a -9 Wysocki ends the round with a 3 stroke lead over Anthon, Koling, and Ulibarri Round 2 The battle between Cartina and Jessica continued, pushing the final round into a playoff that lasted 3 holes until Jessica Weese was able to come out on top Dana Vicich threw the overall hot round of -12, giving him 3rd Anthon and Wysocki both shot a -11, leaving Ricky with the win https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAc8aj0hn7g Not only did Ricky win, he did it in style with an ace on hole 18 As for MPO, it was also a battle Round 3 Folsom Disc Golf Expo Little 6 hole course CTP Some drone coverage Kids playingFolsom Disc Golf Expo Winner: Jake
